"The hotel's Horizon Club was excellent, offering stunning views overlooking Xuanwu Lake. The breakfast, afternoon tea, and happy hour offerings at the Horizon Club were abundant and delicious, and the staff were very warm and welcoming. However, the front office service, particularly in terms of attention to detail and coordination, could benefit from further staff training to truly live up to the Shangri-La brand's reputation. My room booking included tickets to the city wall. During check-in, the front desk provided me with an executive benefits list, stating that all listed benefits were available. However, city wall tickets were not mentioned on the list, and I didn't give it much thought then. No staff member mentioned the city wall tickets to me even up until I checked out. On the day of my departure, I returned to the hotel around 4 PM, with about two hours to spare, so I inquired at the front desk about the city wall tickets. The front desk advised me to speak with the concierge. At the concierge desk, the staff patiently tried to book the tickets for me, but after several attempts, they were unable to secure a booking. It was only then we discovered that bookings are not accepted after 5 PM, and tickets could only be reserved for the following day. This wasted everyone's time. Both the Jiangnan Zaocai restaurant and the Helipad experience appointments were pre-arranged and confirmed with me by the hotel. So why was there no one to remind guests about the booking deadline for the city wall tickets?"

"Environment: Very close to Deji, just across the street, with convenient transportation nearby. Facilities: The room was soundproof and spacious, with a large refrigerator and cooking area, though the air conditioner was a bit loud. Service: The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Upon getting off the bus, they helped with their luggage and even brought it upstairs. I called to request two extra bottles of water, which were delivered quickly. From the moment I walked in, it felt like the Swissotel in Singapore. After checking, I realized it's part of the same group. I was very satisfied and will definitely stay at this hotel again next time I visit Nanjing."

"Excellent service and a truly comfortable stay! The hotel is clean, cozy, and absolutely up to 5-star standards. All the staff are incredibly well-trained and attentive. Special shoutout to Aurora 宋凤秀 at the front desk — she went above and beyond when I asked for information. Not only did she offer detailed guidance, but she even volunteered to help pick up my delivery from another building because she was worried I might get lost."

"Acceptable but not outstanding, especially from a service standpoint. Staff were mostly standoffish and very unwilling to discuss anything outside of the script. For example, I asked if it were possible to have a late check out (I wanted to check out at 3, the standard time is 2); the front desk told me that all check out time is 2pm and cannot be changed. Absolutely no attempt to check if the room was immediately required or if anything can be done, for a single hour difference…. Like I said, acceptable but not outstanding. We to the the bar on my first evening and was told I have to sit at the bar as I was on my own (white, male). The following two customers were also on their own, but female and Chinese, and they could sit wherever they wanted. Not quite sure why the difference in treatment."

"I come to stay at the hotel every winter to soak in the hot springs. This time I was lucky. The beautiful customer service manager Xiao Zhang received me. She upgraded the room for free and gave me two little bee dolls for children. As there were many people in my family, I also gave them a breakfast for the children. The children had a lot of fun. The decoration of the hotel is excellent, clean and luxurious. It is very convenient to soak in the hot springs. It is worth strongly recommending."

It is adjacent to Jinwu Pavilion Park, which is open for free. You can take a walk after dinner and it is very close to the hot spring. The hotel environment is a Chinese courtyard, elegant and quiet, especially suitable for family outings and gatherings with relatives and friends, soaking in the hot spring, listening to the birds singing, looking at the blue sky, and being in a daze, which is very comfortable! During the stay, I had dinner in the hotel restaurant at night, which was clean and light; breakfast was included. The restaurant was warm and cozy, mainly Chinese breakfast, with rich categories, local characteristics, exquisite and delicious, and the morning tea dim sum beef noodles and sweet potatoes were so delicious! In short, I will definitely come again and strongly recommend it to my relatives and friends❤️"

"Came to this hotel to celebrate a birthday and the staff were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Staff have a good attitude, they kept the cake for us and we called the reception at midnight to bring cake and they were extremely nice and friendly. Not much lunch options on site, recommend you bring your own snacks for your stay (especially if you don’t have a car) although the manager recommended us to a local lunch location 11mins drive away and it was great! Hotel is clean, you can only fill the hotspring once during your stay and it is computer operated (just call reception). Our friends were offered a free upgrade due to the cold weather and potential rain, but we wanted to try the outdoor hotspring. The outdoor hot spring has a roof that you can expand; we went on a cold evening and managed to stay outside for a good 3 hours. Walls in the hotel rooms are a bit thin, we could hear our neighbours quite easily. But all in all, a good experience! Recommend you to come check this place out whilst it is still quiet."

"There are many farmhouses around the hotel. The homestay is located in the mountains, surrounded by pleasant scenery and fresh air. After checking in, the hotel staff sent us to the room and carefully introduced the use of various facilities and equipment. I am very satisfied with the room type booked. The bathroom is large in size and the bedding is excellent, which can make people sleep comfortably. Of course, the most important thing is to soak in the hot springs. I have soaked twice in total, and I put most of the hot spring water in each time. After the soaking, I feel comfortable and tired. I have the opportunity to come again in winter. And the service attitude of the hotel staff is very good, eating and drinking let them send to the room very fast, take the trouble. The hotel provides free tea and iced coffee. Snack platters are also provided when you check in. The breakfast provided in the morning is also very delicate."
