Koh Samui Hotels with Infinity Pools

"Check-in was prompt, and I got the room I booked. However, I had to walk quite a distance to reach it because guests staying long-term (monthly rentals) occupy the closer rooms, meaning those staying for just one or two nights are assigned rooms further away. This isn't ideal for the elderly. The room itself was nice, but the wooden furniture and fittings were starting to show their age. The air conditioning worked well. In the bathroom, there was no screen or divider, so it was visible from the bedroom. The TV didn't work at all during my two-night stay as there was no signal. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade sausages. The restaurant had a beautiful view, as did the swimming pool, but the beach right in front of the hotel wasn't usable; you had to walk to the side of the property. There's no dedicated parking for cars; you have to park on the roadside, which is a hilly, winding road, so you need to be very careful."

"The hotel doesn't quite live up to a 5-star rating. However, it does have pleasant grounds, two pools, and a restaurant. The breakfasts are decent, with a good variety on offer, but they're rather uninspired and not particularly delicious. On the plus side, the coffee is good. The cocktails at the bar during the day were disappointing (we tried a Piña Colada once and weren't tempted to order another). A major highlight is the excellent direct beach access with sun loungers. The beach itself is fantastic. We were very pleased to see security on the beach who also helped set up umbrellas and arrange sun loungers. There's also a staff member with a first aid kit to treat cuts from corals – a very thoughtful touch (which we actually needed assistance with). Among the obvious drawbacks, the soundproofing in the rooms is extremely poor. We ended up with noisy neighbors who were also smoking ******** on their balcony (though it's legalized in Thailand). As a result, our room smelled terrible, and the noisy parties made it impossible for us to relax. On the bright side, when we reported this to reception, they immediately gave us a key to another room so we could get some much-needed sleep there, which we did. In terms of service, the hotel staff deserves a 5/5. Housekeeping and room comfort would get a 3/5 each, and breakfasts a 4/5. Overall, I'd give it a four out of five."

"As a solo female traveller I felt very safe here. It’s out the way nothing around but good and drink on premises and other resorts close buy to visit. Outside shower was a great addition and really makes you feel like you’re in a jungle !"

"I’m laying on a sunbed (in the shade as I write this). We read the reviews before we arrived, So here’s the latest.. Pick a room that’s right for you… As with a lot of hotels they are just off or on the main road, if you’re after tranquility you need to pick a sea view room. If you’re used to living next to a busy road (cars & moped) as we were, then the mountain side view rooms were fine for us. Family Room was large, with plenty enough space. Room was great, although if I was to be very picky, shower door and carpet could be improved, everything else in room was great. Just so you know, cars & mopeds are always going past throughout the day and night. Beach is shallow water with rough sand and small rocks beneath the water. It is a lovely spot, although you’d need to head right for a stroll before you find a less rocky beach to practically swim in. Location: head to Crystal Bay (15 min walk) or head the other direction (15 min walk). Close by is a public outdoor gym, basically in the sea. Obviously equipment is basic but you can always go to an air conditioned gym near by. Hotel service and employee are great, pool & beach towels & sunbeds provided . Breakfast is high quality geared towards healthier eating. Various yoga classes going on, which seem popular but not something we do. The usual Thai street food ,  Restaurants and 7-11 stores within walking distance."

"Overall, we had a pleasant stay, with a few important points worth noting. The breakfast was very good, offering a wide variety of options—everything you need for a tasty and satisfying start to the day. The housekeeping service was excellent, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We also appreciated the complimentary minibar, which was a nice touch. We upgraded to a villa for an additional €50, but it turned out to be a single house divided into two separate rooms. Unfortunately, the soundproofing was extremely poor—everything happening in the neighboring room could be heard as if it was right next to us. So if you’re looking for privacy and quiet, it really depends on having considerate neighbors. The villa itself was spacious and comfortable, which we liked. However, the towels were disappointing. In the gym, they smelled unpleasant and looked very worn, as if they hadn’t been properly refreshed in a long time. The towels in the room smelled fine but appeared old and grey, not fresh as expected. One thing we really appreciated was the hotel’s environmentally friendly approach. Towels and bed linen are changed only when necessary, and water is provided in glass bottles instead of plastic. It’s clear that the hotel is making an effort to reduce its environmental impact, which we found very commendable. In summary, while there are many positives—especially the staff, breakfast, eco-friendly concept, and room size—there are some issues with noise insulation and towel quality that the hotel should address."

"This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. It’s a bit smaller and more peaceful, with fewer people, which made the atmosphere really relaxing. I truly enjoyed being there every single day. All the staff were quite young and incredibly friendly, always making us feel welcome. The breakfast had a smaller selection, but everything you need was there and it was always fresh and enjoyable. The bed was honestly a 10/10 – so comfortable that it was hard to leave it. I was genuinely sad to leave this hotel and I would happily come back anytime in the future. I highly recommend staying here."

"Я провел 2 отличные ночи в этом хостеле. Найти оказалось несложно, он отмечен на всех популярных картах. Заселение с 3 часов дня, но имеются шкафчики для небольшой ручной клади. Центральная часть хостела - бассейн. Он весьма пользуется популярностью. Во-вторых, в хостеле живут как минимум 4 кошки, которые явно чувствуют себя хозяйками. В различное время они примут внимание гостей. В-третьих, имеются большая лаунж зона с бильярдом, баром, тв и даже коворкингом. Приятно вечером находиться. С интернетом в один день отлично работал, в другой - прерывался. Но люди сидели с лэптопами. Сама комната для проживания небольшая, на 4 чел, но вполне уютная. Большую часть времени приятнее проводить у бассейна и в лаунж зоне. Поблизости имеется ресторан с недешевыми, но очень вкусными завтраками, а также там принимают банковские карточки. А ближе к 7 ч открываются поблизости несколько ночных рынков. До песчаного пляжа - минут 15 пешком. Хостел высоко рекомендую! Потрясающий опыт!"

"We stayed at the hotel for a week, booking a room on the second floor with a sea view. However, due to the bar's roof, the sea wasn't visible; we had a pool view instead. The hotel itself is small and compact, located not far from the Grandpa and Grandma rocks, with a small street nearby offering souvenirs and cafes. The room wasn't very large, but the shower room with the toilet was spacious. There was a noticeable damp smell, though. Our room was equipped with a bed, air conditioning, a few tables, a chair, a large mirror (a rarity for Thailand!), a lighted cosmetic mirror, a wardrobe, a luggage rack, a fridge, a kettle, a tea set, and sachets of coffee, tea, and sugar. A welcome fruit plate was also provided. Beach towels were available, along with a large rubber beach bag, which was very convenient. Slippers and a full set of toiletries were included: cotton pads, cotton buds, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, and hair conditioner. We dried our clothes either on the balcony or in the shower, and everything seemed to dry fine. There's a TV, and we found Russian videos on YouTube, so we weren't bored if we stayed in the room in the evenings. We were quite surprised by the lack of an iron, but it seems that ironing isn't common there, so not all hotels provide them. 7/11 stores are within walking distance, and prices are reasonable, though beer is cheaper by the pack at the Macro hypermarket. We had breakfast included, but didn't go every day. Breakfasts were decent; not super varied, but we never left hungry – everything tasted good. They served a fruit plate, a plate with cheese/butter/ham, and you could order either an omelet or scrambled eggs, with optional bacon and cheese. The coffee from the machine was quite strong, even with milk. There was always a crispy baguette, toast bread with a toaster, and a variety of fruits like rambutan, bananas, passion fruit, and watermelon (which varied daily). Yogurts, muesli, pastries, cookies, cucumbers, tomatoes, and leafy salad were also available. Getting to Lamai night market on foot takes almost an hour, by taxi it's about 200 baht, and walking directly along the beach takes about 25 minutes. There's a small food market towards the Red Temple, which also has live music and a small trampoline for kids. Prices there are dirt cheap. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The beach near the hotel has some rocks, but if you walk a bit to the left, there are fewer rocks and lots of fish. Crabs hang out among the rocks in the mornings. The hotel offers free paddleboards (SUPs) – we took them a couple of times – and also masks and snorkels. We only noticed the latter later, so we had already bought our own. There are dogs living at the hotel, but they are absolutely friendly, usually just chilling among the guests, and only bark at fishermen. No need to be afraid! We arrived before check-in time and had to wait a bit, but we were checked in on schedule. Overall, the hotel is quite good, but a bit far from the nightlife. If you're mobile, getting around the island won't be an issue. There were no Russians at first, then a couple and a man arrived. Primarily, Germans stay there. I give the hotel a solid four out of five stars and wish them prosperity! Thanks for the hospitality!"

"We absolutely loved the hotel. We were greeted like family, I'd say it felt like home, even though it was our first time. The staff was very polite, explained everything in detail, and checked us in early. The rooms are cleaned daily, and every towel is changed daily. Four bottles of water are provided daily for two people. The hotel's location is excellent, everything is within walking distance: the night market, a 7-11, and even the landmark called Grandfather and Grandmother, which we walked to by the sea. We had breakfast included: yes, it was monotonous, but we didn't go hungry, and there was fruit every day: watermelon, melon, pineapple, papaya, and dragon fruit. 👍 The sea is simply magnificent, there's a pool, but we're not big fans of just having one. There were plenty of sun loungers for everyone, a shower on the beach, and everything was clean. We walked the entire length of Lamaya Beach, and we had the best beach, clean sand, and always a choice of shade or sun. We definitely recommend this hotel; we're already missing it."
