"I was underwhelmed by the Crowne Plaza. I stayed for work, but it was my birthday while I was there. I asked if they wanted to upgrade my room because it was my birthday, but they feigned that they didn't understand (I did use English). The room was OK, but the carpet was definitely not clean. It was quite warm while I was there but the air conditioner was not on as the room temperature never changed. I used the swimming pool one day. Although it looks super cool in the pictures with a big glass infinity corner, it was very much leaking. Inside the pool the tiles were falling off the edges - there was even a sign acknowledging this. On my birthday I went up for a massage. I had to go into the back to find a lady and she made like I was bothering her phone time. Then she was on the phone while giving me a massage. The massage itself was pretty much the lamest massage I have ever had in my whole life. She barely massaged my skin much less my muscles. Also, the lights were on full bright and there was no much, just the sounds coming from the weight room that was around the corner. The whole experience left me wishing I had just stayed in my room. I do understand that the massage place, although in the hotel, was not related to the hotel."

"Just returned from 10 days in Kunshan staying at the Tonino Lamborghini Hotel. Appreciated the clean and comfortable facilities sprinkled with art, flowers and artifacts, great food at the inhouse restaurants and walking distance to recreation and entertainment. The staff however are their secret weapon!!! Everyone (whether room attendant, server or front office staff) were always smiling, willing to assist and answer questions or give directions, even with the language barrier! I want to say a special thank you to Tom, Elena and Bruce who made my stay extra special and memorable!!"

"Stayed one more night and ate the black truffle chicken chop noodles at Su Noodle House. Tea was served as soon as we sat down. We ordered the red soup noodles with Pu'er soft-boiled eggs. The chicken chop tasted quite good when cut. Su Noodle House is on the first floor of Huayu. It is very quiet inside. There is also Suzhou Pingtan in the store. The environment is also good. I recommend everyone to eat there (see the 6th to 8th pictures for details). Whether it is a holiday or Huayu, for the safety of the guests, takeout is not allowed to be delivered upstairs. They are all placed in the takeout cabinet downstairs of Huayu. It is also very convenient to take it. This is not a big problem. Because the twin room I stayed in only had a stool and no sofa, I asked the room service to send a stool (the last picture), and we drank water very quickly, so we asked the room service to send water several times. They were very friendly and the auntie would deliver it immediately. I will stay here again next time if I have the chance, and I will also try to stay in Huayu."

I arrived late at night and, hoping to get some extra sleep, asked the staff to arrange a quiet room. The front desk assistant, Ms. Qi, was very responsive and the room was well-appointed. "On my recent trip to Kunshan, I stayed at the Shangmei Hotel. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The location is also fantastic, just a stone's throw away from local businesses. A major plus is the complimentary parking. The breakfast spread was very generous, and they even offered the local specialty, Aozao noodles. Too bad I only remembered to snap a photo after I'd already finished eating! I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Kunshan."

"Usually I prefer Westin and Shangri-La Hotel... This is my first time staying at Hualuxe Hotel. I've had afternoon tea at Hualuxe Hotel on Hengshan Road and knew the environment was good, so I avoided the peak hours during Labor Day and came to Huaqiao to find a hotel to stay for two nights. The room was very spacious and the decoration was in the style we like, grand and upscale. The customer service capper Huang Ziyang's service was just right. He looked very smart when he was working, thumbs up 👍. The hotel has convenient transportation, ample parking spaces, and can be reached directly by subway if you don't drive."

"This stay was definitely beyond my expectations! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, every detail made me feel at home. The lobby is elegantly designed, the rooms are spacious and bright, the bedding is comparable to five-star standards (the mattress is perfectly soft and hard!), the bathroom is reasonably designed with dry and wet separation, and equipped with high-end toiletries. I like the city view outside the floor-to-ceiling windows the most, the night view is so beautiful that it makes people intoxicated! The front desk lady smiled kindly and checked in quickly and efficiently; the room service responded quickly, and every request was solved within 5 minutes; special thanks to the concierge, who not only helped with the luggage, but also recommended authentic food that only locals know. "recommend The hotel is a standard star business hotel with a distinguished and calm lobby. This is my second time staying here. The lady at the reception desk was still smiling. When she handed me the door key, she introduced me to the location of the restaurant for breakfast. They specially set up the ”** Room” to satisfy the current residents' hobby of poker and gambling in their spare time. This is more in line with the times. Advance together. The hotel's service is timely, accurate, and thinks of what you need. This is why I highly recommend it. I left my PAD in the restaurant while eating. After contacting me, I was told that it could be sent back to my room. When I returned to the room at night, I not only received the lost and found notebook. I was also given a little surprise: the room attendant polished my muddy leather shoes until they were shiny. Breakfast is also relatively rich, and the fresh meat is more delicious."

"You won't go wrong choosing the Jinling brand in Jiangsu. The facilities and services are of five-star standard. Ms. Chen from the housekeeping department thoughtfully sent homemade yogurt. A male staff member from the catering department was also easy to communicate with. The hotel was also very tolerant of children's meals. It is worth staying. The Japanese food and teppanyaki grill for dinner are recommended, but the vegetables in the small hot pot and the stir-fried dishes for Chinese food need to be improved in quality."

GGuest UserThe hotel is incredibly conveniently located, just a 3-minute walk from the ticket entrance to the scenic area – you can't beat that for convenience! Our room was spotlessly clean with no missed spots and fully equipped, featuring a large-screen TV. The bed was also incredibly comfortable. The owner was exceptionally warm and welcoming; it truly felt like a home away from home. After reading their reviews, I can confirm that the glowing praise is genuinely earned and not fabricated. I only wish we had more time; if we hadn't been in a rush and stayed just one night, I would have loved to extend our stay for two more! If you're planning a trip to Zhouzhuang, this is definitely the place to stay – you absolutely won't regret it!

SSamson Fu HoOverall an enjoyable and relaxing one night stay at this tiny cosy hotel in Zhouzhuang, for our final leg of our 6 days Suzhou trip. We took a didi over to Zhouzhuang, which was faster and cheaper than I expected, just a little over half an hour. The hotel staff called me the day before to arrange for pick-up near the watertown ticket office. Actually I can't speak Mandarin and their English wasn't too good but we ended up chatting on Wechat as Wechat has a built-in translate function in their chat. So, 15 minutes before we arrive, we just had to let them know on Wechat. And the staff is already waiting for us, helped us with the luggage and guided us through the ticket buying process. You do have to pay for the ¥100 RMB ticket to get into the watertown and the ticket is good for 3 days. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the entrance. I picked this hotel because it was right inside the watertown and it had the ancient Chinese interior, although all the amenities are modern, including a robust and high-tech Kohler smart toilets in each bathroom. There is a nice coffee shop inside the hotel and the coffee shop owner is friendly and takes his coffee craft seriously. The hotel gives you 2 free drinks during your stay and the coffee menu is quite extensive. If the hotel rooms are not booked on that day, we are told the hotel opens their doors to coffee customers. The hotel owner is actually younger than I expected so I am impressed she meticulously created this authentic experience and the attention to detail. She was friendly and helpful and was open to accommodating our needs. We booked the entire 2nd floor, which was 3 bedrooms and we had 6 adults in our group. This tiny hotel only has 3 bedrooms so if you booked all 3 rooms, you pretty much get the entire hotel to yourselves which include the first floor which is spacious and comfy. When I visit Zhouzhuang again, I am looking forward to stay here again. It's certainly not cheap, but you do get what you pay for - which is people passionate about hospitality (in a Chinese way) and also a hygiene and staying experience that is certainly up to international standards.

SShanghaifeixiangdexiaomajuAn absolutely delightful B&B experience! The room was spotless and well-equipped. Its riverside location, nestled between the scenic area's entrance archway and the Twin Bridges, made it incredibly convenient for exploring, shopping, and sightseeing. Plus, it was wonderfully quiet at night. In the evenings, I sat by the river on a comfortable lounge chair provided by the landlady (she even thoughtfully included mosquito coils!). I enjoyed a smoke and sipped tea in the cool breeze. The landlady's attentiveness was remarkable; she repeatedly offered to bring a thermos of hot water. Watching the tourist boats pass by, observing the diverse expressions of the visitors, and listening to the melodic songs of the sculling boatmen, I simply zoned out – it was incredibly relaxing and blissful! Before I left, the owner even gifted me some small snacks. Having seen many other B&Bs and guesthouses while touring the ancient town, I can confidently say that after comparing them all, I'll definitely choose this one again for my next visit to Zhouzhuang Ancient Town.

AAnonymous UserI am very satisfied with the service of this orange hotel The facilities are very new and just opened this year. The service is also very good. We will respond to parking, takeout, late check-out, etc. Breakfast is also rich in variety, fresh and delicious I particularly like the location because it is within walking distance from the Kunshan Culture and Art Center. It is so convenient to watch performances from Shanghai, especially when there are some popular performances that cannot be bought in Shanghai. The curve saves the country and the price-performance ratio is unparalleled.

雲雲儿I was absolutely delighted with my stay at this guesthouse! The room was incredibly tidy and clean, with every corner spotless. The bedding was exceptionally soft and fresh, completely odor-free, making for a very comfortable and reassuring sleep. The interior decor was simple yet cozy, and the host's thoughtful touches were evident in every detail. Even the bathroom was immaculately maintained and a pleasure to use. Overall, the experience was fantastic! I highly recommend this place to anyone who values pristine and comfortable accommodation. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

JJakobreuVery nice small hotel next to the canals of Zhouzhuang. Rooms are good and you feel like time travelling in old China with the traditional furniture and beds. Lovely owner who provided us with tips and lots of help when I lost my wallet in a Didi. You have to pay the entry fee to get to touristic area in which the hotel is located which was ¥150 p.p. during the day, it’s cheaper if you enter after 8pm so best to check with the host who is super lovely and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

GGuest UserThis place was absolutely amazing, the host was the best we’ve come across, from meeting us and carrying all our bags, to finding us in the rain whilst we were shopping to offer umbrellas due to the downpour . The room was immaculate, we were able to store our drinks etc in the large commercial fridge, and yes it was cold!! Bottled water was free anytime. The location is brilliant , you can walk around the town and drop back and use the home stay facilities anytime, this was so nice as the facilities were so clean. Our room was spacious overlooking the canals, so even if you felt like a break, a drink and nibbles in your room whilst watching the events below was relaxing. The restaurant next door was the nicest we’d come across. I would recommend 2 nights stay, and definitely don’t look any further trying to find a better spot , book here. The Host spoke English and was easy to contact by email or mobile and WeChat. This is a family home stay business and it was evident during our stay. I’d give this place 10 stars

GGuest UserLocation was perfect and also my initial consideration, right at the center of city. No much to expect except for those standard items example - service, cleanliness or comfortability therefore to my surprise, the rooms were cosy and clean (guessed it’s because they were newly renovated or not long ago) but, but except for some minor hiccups example - air conditioning controls (remote and wall mounted) + room WiFi needs pre-logging on before connectable (used my phone hotspot to fix problem)! Everything was fine until the next day slightly before checking out, they cut off my room electricity abruptly half an hour before checkout time! Imagine if you’re still using the bathroom! This needs serious attention as I have never encounter such scenarios before, in my entire life experience of travelings and staying in hotels. Never. Of course my booking came with the “late checkout privilege” so why the rush? Oh and they did offer an upgrade of room (when checking in) but, but with additional charges! Wondering if these misunderstandings were “intentional” or caused by miscommunication between the hotel management and platform, a sales technique? Please clarify: rewards enjoyable/ available after booking, if possible thank you

GGallleyaThis is the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to China. We lived in a separate house. It's quiet and cozy there. The air conditioner works well for heating. The hostess is very friendly and kind. When we got lost during check-in, she herself came for us. Also thanks to the man who helped us when leaving the hotel. Comfortable bathroom, good beds, spacious room. I highly recommend it!
