"Staying at Fuxian Lake Hotel feels very cost-effective. I enjoyed the hotel's high-quality service from the moment I arrived. The doorman helped to transport the luggage to the room. The room was clean and tidy. There were welcome fruits and afternoon tea. The front desk lady was very enthusiastic and asked many times if there was any help. I like her service. The breakfast environment is very good, and the food is basically complete, including dumplings, wontons, noodles and rice noodles. This is a newly opened boutique B&B with a wild and luxurious feel. It is located halfway up the mountain, just over 100 meters from the lake. You can walk to the lake. The room facilities are very complete and high-end. The lake view is really unbeatable. I have stayed in many lake view B&Bs in Fuxian Lake, and this one is one of the best. The service staff is also very enthusiastic and received us like friends. The coffee in the cafe is also delicious.

"To be honest, there are so many accommodations around Fuxian Lake that I was overwhelmed. I chose a family hotel with my two kids. I was quite nervous at first, but I was very satisfied with the stay. The room is ocean-themed, large and clean. The view from the balcony is OK. Although you can see the construction site, you can also see the lake view. It is very quiet and you can sleep well at night. I originally booked only one night, but later extended it for another night. It is still recommended for family travel~"

GGuest UserWe are American expats living in Hong Kong and came to Kunming area for our school’s Easter holiday. We cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel, located in a picturesque village along the northeastern coast of Fuxian Lake. Positives: 1. the location is AMAZING. The village itself feels very Mediterranean and houses over 30 boutique-style hotels. 2. This specific hotel has the most beautiful Chinese garden. My husband and I spent ample time just sitting in the garden chatting and looking at the beautiful flowers. They also have a basket swing our kids played on. 3. The design of the hotel is beautiful…..thatched roofing and wooden doors on the outside, reeded ceilings with wooden beams on the inside…..it all looked so warm and lovely. 4. Our specific room was a 2-level lake view family suite that had a terrace outside the upper level bedroom (which was the “master”). The view from this upper bedroom was so gorgeous….prime view of the lake. 5. The bathroom in our suite was modern and seemed to have some kind of heating fan over the shower area which was an added bonus. 6. The breakfast was traditional Chinese style. By this time, we were at the end of our trip and were a bit tired of rice noodles for breakfast (we are used to western-style breakfasts), but as soon as we tasted this hotel’s rice noodles, it was easy to forget we were tired of them. They were delicious! The owner also served us steamed milk and some kind of sweet steamed bread. It was all very tasty!
Negatives: I truly do not have any. And I usually always have something I critique about hotels. But this place was truly a 5-star stay for us. It was gorgeous and the owner was so sweet.

NNapianmaitianThe lady who served was very attentive. But the hygiene was not very clean, and there were hairs from the previous guests on the sofa. The facilities are still relatively new, but there is a bit of a smell. The scenery outside the window is fake and not worth the nearly 1k price. The breakfast is B&B style, fixed to one set, which is better than having breakfast. It’s too far from the lake, so I don’t have to think carefully about driving by myself. There are few people in the entire community and it is empty.

EEva13I had a very comfortable stay in this small hotel. The room was big enough and everything was very clean, the bed smelled nice and the owner is very kind and ready to help. The location is nice too, a bit away from the main street, so it is very peaceful at night, but still close to all the places in the city. If you prefer to stay in a smaller more private place than a big hotel, then this is a good place for you! Highly recommend it!

GGuest UserVery suitable hotel for leisure vacation, the front desk lady has a good service attitude, I can't find the parking lot, she patiently guided me to park, the lake view of the room is simply amazing, the floor-to-ceiling windows are very beautiful and you can see the whole Fuxian Lake (recommend the 180-degree full lake view room), there are many restaurants downstairs, it is very convenient to eat, the Moon Bay scenic area opposite has a Sanya feel, after checking in, ask the hotel for a park card and you can enter the park for free, there is a white sand beach in the park where you can take your children to play in the sand, and take pictures. It is recommended to travel off-peak, the cost performance is really high, this time I stayed in the most cost-effective hotel in Fuxian Lake.
