It’s such good value considering what we paid. It’s 5 min from the train station and opposite the famous miyahara shop. Right next door is family mart and left next door is a nice fried chicken place too. What’s more, there’s a dining area where we can eat our food from the night market. It’s fantastic! I would definitely stay there again!

Overall services were good, from concierge, to check in and check out. The room that was allocated to us was spacious however they could have done better to do regular maintenance on their TV channels and systems. Some channels showed black screen with audio whereas some with visuals but no audio. Called up for service and they got a technician over to check yet no outcome and they decided to brush me off by blaming it on system updates backend. Tried over the next few days and still didn't work, and gave up eventually. Not returning to this hotel for my next trip to Taichung.

The location is not far from the downtown area of Taichung. The service is quite good, but its hygiene. The taste of the whole room is quite strange. The taste cannot be said. The facilities should be considered okay. After all, I didn’t bring a swimsuit, so the public pool didn’t go to soak. It’s just a hot spring in the house. The natural water flowing out when brushing your teeth is a little dirty (small particles and small stones). I don’t know if the stream is not a stream. The overall price is acceptable. The smell of the room can put some fragrance and essential oils.

The hotel is located close to the center and the train station, which should be considered a great convenience. The room was clean and had all the necessary equipment. Service at the front desk was excellent. Since I arrived at night I had trouble finding this hotel. I had some serious issues with the bathroom that I would prefer not to discuss in details here.

Location is great! Theres a taxi stop/line right in front of the hotel. There’s so many things to do and explore around the hotel, the kids love it. We enjoy the breakfast buffet too!

Will not come again. This was a horrible experience, I used to stay at this hotel many times years ago, but clearly this is not that same hotel anymore. Staff was friendly, but it was quite chaotic when we checked in, we could not find the bell boy to leave our bags. Breakfast was a joke, we sat in ridiculously low chairs for breakfast, and when I saw the manager, note, the manager not a waitress, picked up a bottle of yogurt from the floor and put back to the bowl for guest, it was quite shocking to me so I asked her why did she do that, she simply said to me ”it's not broken”. What a hotel！！

KKuen HawThe hotel is near fengjia night market. All toiletries are provided in the hotel room. There is a lounge with complimentary snacks and hot beverages. There is also a laundry area for you to wash your clothes.
Overall, excellent stay. Will book the hotel again if I come Taichung.

PPgzdHotel is located at a great location, nice facilities and good cleanliness in my room. My only feedback is that for people who drive, please be aware. The carpark entrance is at the back entrance of the hotel where the convenience stall is located. This hotel uses an Over Car Bonnet Storage system. We were greeted unpleasantly by the carpark assistant (an old man), not only were we not allowed to unload our luggage before parking, he didn't even bother assisting us with our carriage. To make matters worst, we saw him help another guest on arrival that was behind us at that time, to unload their luggage and give them guidance in parking. On my last day, i was awoken by the hotel staff through the hotel phone. They told me that my car was not parked properly and they could not activate the lever system for the carpark. Yes i would apologize if i have parked off by 2cm outwards, but I was woken up rudely in the morning after a long tiring night before with no apologies whatsoever. A note to future hotel guest, if you intend to have your car parked in the hotel, please be mindful the space is not very SUV friendly.

AAnonymous UserLocation - I’m not sure if we just missed out on what’s nearby. But we did walk on the sides, we were searching around of what’s there to see. We didn’t see much, like we realized after walking for a few minutes that we just found the convenient store which is kinda far if that was the nearest available (or again, there could be one the other side we don’t know haha).
So after walking around, and realizing there’s nothing much to see. We already booked an Uber going to the night market.
It wasn’t that far from the HSR Station. I couldn’t remember the exact distance and travel time. But if I find it far I’d normally remember it and say it.
Service - it was an easy check-in and check-out. Though, I almost forgot to get a receipt. Had to proactively ask for one. Luckily we decided to stay for a bit after checking out, we remembered it and got to request for it.
I like how they already asked upon checking in if we need a room cleaning service. That was convenient.
The breakfast was so so (on my personal taste bud). Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t that bad.
I love the room the most! We were happy about how spacious it is. And it has an AI box which we loved. The bathtub has a tv, the shower area was spacious, the ambience of the room, hallways and lobby. The free snacks. The brand of the body wash and conditioner. The free Nescafe machine in the lobby.
I’d definitely recommend it and I’d stay here again.
(Though I still have a pending concern that I have to figure out myself, cause the amount showing in the invoice was different from the amount showing on tha app. Haven’t checked how much was the final amount taken out on my card)

SSEANIEBEEA 5 star hotel that deserves its rating. Rooms are comparable with Sheraton/Hilton etc... it's a well-oiled machine and everyone was efficient and kind. Shout out to my namesake SEAN in the Prime restaurant on the roof who took care of us with a memorable Christmas dinner. One for any short list in Taichung.

However it was worth it as it was a beautiful little space. Room was a little space but it was sufficient and cosy. Netflix was available. Bathroom was clean and big.
There was free flow wine for certain hours during one of the days. That was a plus.

ZZomoHotel is not near the HSR station if you are traveling with luggages, will need to take a transfer train/Bus.
Hotel bed is big, toilet is big.
But there’s no space to lift One big luggage opened fully. Quite a hassle.

莎莎哈拉The service at Shuiyunduan is as excellent as ever. I stayed there in 2017 and visited again in 2024. The difference is that I brought three more children with me. Thank you to the guy at the counter for his thoughtfulness and making our stay very enjoyable.
The children like late night snacks and breakfast. The large spa bath in the room made us relax both physically and mentally. The parent-child game room also provides a place for lively children to meet new friends and play games together.
Great accommodation, recommended for families with children.

GGuest Uservery convenient location as it's about 1 minute walk from kaohsiung main station. it's a self checkin guest house, and you get your check-in information by either email or line messenger after you send your passport photo (for foreigners). i stayed here a few times. it's clean and comfortable and has good value for the money.
