"I traveled with my father and booked two double rooms, both near the road, which were a bit noisy. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 am, and it was packed with people. There were no seats, so we had to make do with a bowl of noodles and come back later. When we went back, we had to show our meal tickets. Luckily, there were two of us, so we had four meal tickets for the two double rooms, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to have breakfast. The TV was out of service. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. Overall, I think this is the best hotel in Xiahe. If you want a more comfortable stay, this hotel is quite good. It's not far to walk to Labrang Monastery. Parking is free at the hotel, so you don't need to drive to the scenic area's parking lot. The price-performance ratio is quite good."

"Amazing hotel! The rooms were nice but the hospitality of the owner was exceptional! He helped booking a tour for me and woke up very early to drive me to the bus station. Would recommend!"

There is floor heating, the toilet is a smart toilet, the room is relatively large, the bathroom and bathroom are separated, and the bathroom space is very large. "Our stay here was lovely, with kind staff. We are Australian and our check-in was easy. However, please note that the name of the hotel name is “Samphel Dhondup Hotel”, and it is located near the southern corner of 腾志路, Tengzhi Road, near the Monastery Ticket Centre and the river. This was confusing upon arrival. The heated floors were extremely hot, and not able to be turned off. Our room was a sauna, despite being -4°c outside (we had our window open the whole time). Hopefully this can be fixed. Breakfast was small but we were here during the offseason."

"The rooms are well equipped and the room service and restaurant service are satisfactory. Two problems: First, the room temperature was too high, about 30 degrees, and there was no temperature control. I reported this to the hotel, and they said that the heating temperature in Xiahe is always that high and the hotel cannot control it. We opened the windows and drew the curtains, but didn't dare turn on the lights because there was a hotel across the street. We couldn't fall asleep in bed at all. It felt like we were in a scorching hot room with no ventilation or air conditioning. It was minus 14 degrees outside, but it was suffocatingly hot inside! We, an elder who was almost 70 years old, had to travel the next day, so we didn't sleep the whole night and just endured the scorching heat."

"I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend staying here. The hotel is right next to the entrance of the monastery and most rooms have a nice view of the lively main street and the mountains behind. The rooms also have built-in heating so the room is not cold during the colder months. The bed is very comfortable. Staff doesn’t always speak English but they are very friendly. The hotel is a little bit outdated, but I think it is one of the best places to stay in Xiahe because of the location and it offers everything you need."

"The hotel front desk is very polite and courteous, and the service attitude is particularly good! I went to take the exam and saw the blessing message at the door before entering the interview. I only stayed for one day because I had to take the exam the next afternoon. I coordinated with the front desk to delay the check-out and the front desk agreed to the request without any objection. I am really grateful. I wish our Lingcheng will get better and better. I will stay at your house next time! "Pros: very new and clean Disadvantages: The bathroom has a smell. The location is on the side of the road, and I have been running a big car at night. It is very noisy, and the room is very soundproof. The sound upstairs is very loud. There are two lost ID cards. The boss takes each room and asks for the lost owner. However, if you enter the house without knocking on the door, you can swipe your card to open the door. Is this terrible? There is no disposable slippers in the room. I asked the boss. The boss said that we can give it away on the face of the high-end standard room, but we need to go to the front desk ourselves, but we can't find anyone twice. The phone call was picked up by another person who was not in the store."
