Xiahe Hotels with Wi-Fi

"I traveled with my father and booked two double rooms, both near the road, which were a bit noisy. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 am, and it was packed with people. There were no seats, so we had to make do with a bowl of noodles and come back later. When we went back, we had to show our meal tickets. Luckily, there were two of us, so we had four meal tickets for the two double rooms, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to have breakfast. The TV was out of service. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. Overall, I think this is the best hotel in Xiahe. If you want a more comfortable stay, this hotel is quite good. It's not far to walk to Labrang Monastery. Parking is free at the hotel, so you don't need to drive to the scenic area's parking lot. The price-performance ratio is quite good."

"The guesthouse is spotlessly clean and has a wonderful ambiance. The proprietress has planted so many beautiful flowers, which are truly stunning. There's also a lovely terrace on the third floor, and the air up there is wonderfully fresh. Both the owner and his wife are incredibly warm and hospitable. For the price, it offers excellent value for money. We stayed for three days this time, and we'll absolutely choose to stay here again on our next visit!"

"Highly recommended! I think this B&B is the best in Xiahe County! The room was fully equipped and fully intelligent. It had a smart toilet, a temperature-controlled showerhead, a hair dryer, and all the necessary toiletries (a razor, toothbrush, and disposable toilet seat)—it was truly complete! It was actually quite warm at night, even a little hot. I didn't take any photos of the room, but it was exactly as shown. The sheets and pillowcases were spotless, and the room was spotless, with separate wet and dry areas. The owner was incredibly welcoming! They were so kind! They even gave me an umbrella when we went out to eat on a rainy day, and even called us to pick us up if we couldn't get a taxi. I was so touched! 🥹 The hot pot restaurant they recommended was also delicious and highly recommended (I forgot the name, but feel free to ask if you're interested). The lamb and beef were incredibly fresh! Even if you eat a lot, you won't feel greasy! In short, feel free to come! It's also quite close to Labrang, so you have to drive."

"This hotel was the most expensive one we booked during our trip to Gannan, but the experience was quite average. 1) The family room bathroom had clear glass. Even with the reflection, you could still clearly see inside the toilet and bathroom from outside (Image 1). 2) The windowsills were covered in dust (Image 2). 3) There were spiderwebs under the ceiling lights (Images 3 and 4). 4) There was no light switch near the bed; you had to walk to the door to turn it on and off, which was very inconvenient."

"I am very disappointed with Ctrip's deception. I have booked several seemingly high-quality hotels with extremely high prices, but they were all incredible. The boss is absolutely excellent, beautiful, warm and thoughtful. The room is large with a bathroom, which can accommodate more than 4 people. The 14-degree weather is not cold at night. There is also coffee to order, which is really great. The bedding should be changed every day. The shower water is very hot and comfortable. It would be better if the sewer had a special process."

"This hotel is in a very good spot, opposite the river, away from the traffic and tourist groups. The restaurant offers great food and drinks. The personal is very friendly and helpful and the room looked very nice, ******* style , and the mattress was comfortable . Can recommend this place without hesitation."

"Our stay here was lovely, with kind staff. We are Australian and our check-in was easy. However, please note that the name of the hotel name is “Samphel Dhondup Hotel”, and it is located near the southern corner of 腾志路, Tengzhi Road, near the Monastery Ticket Centre and the river. This was confusing upon arrival. The heated floors were extremely hot, and not able to be turned off. Our room was a sauna, despite being -4°c outside (we had our window open the whole time). Hopefully this can be fixed. Breakfast was small but we were here during the offseason."

"The staff and surroundings were excellent. The hotel itself is a mixed bag: a beautiful lobby but the room itself was disappointing: quite dirty, with a desperate need of a renovation. We also received a very dirty towel. The curtains and bed sheets had holes in them."

"The room was clean, tidy, and spacious. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and there was a washing machine for guests to do laundry. Breakfast was prepared by the staff and delivered to the room; it included eggs and wonton-like dumplings, which tasted pretty good. 😄👍🏻👍🏻"

"The dorm was very clean and equipped with a kettle, which was nice. I was the only guest during my stay. As mentioned in the other reviews, the dorm is located in the basement and you have to walk a bit to reach the toilet. The „shower“ is located across the front desk. It’s a small room where the hotel is storing their cleaning equipment, so showering there is a quite dirty and unpleasant experience. As there are so many dorms in the basement (I would guess 50+ beds), I wonder how they would handle the situation if the hotel is fully booked. Overall I would recommend staying there for one night, if you are not picky."
