Koh Samet Hotels with Wi-Fi

"We stayed in a villa. We checked in significantly early, 4 hours, for which we're incredibly grateful to the hotel staff! We were warned that the two beds were singles, but we asked for a double bed, and within 20 minutes while we were exploring the hotel grounds, they upgraded us to a double bed. The hotel has two swimming pools, one with a sea view and one overlooking the villas. Both pools are clean. Amenities in the villa: the room includes two bottles of water, a coffee machine (one capsule and two coffee capsules), a safe, umbrellas, towels, a refrigerator, a kettle, a comb, soap, shampoo, shower gel, and a shower cap. And most impressively, there's a shower and a separate bathroom. The hotel grounds are located at the very edge of Ao Noi Na Beach. The area is quiet and private, and the beach is quiet and peaceful, practically private, without crowds of tourists. However, there are sea urchins in the sea; we witnessed several tourists step on them, and the hotel staff helped them treat their injuries. There's a warning about sea urchins at reception. There's a restaurant on site. The food is delicious, but the downside is that it takes a long time to prepare; we waited an hour for two dishes. Breakfast is also served at the restaurant, and the breakfasts are hearty and delicious, with something for everyone. The overall impression of the hotel was excellent; I hope to stay there again on our next trip to Koh Samet! A big thank you to the staff. I definitely recommend it to everyone."

"Stayed for 4 nights. The room was clean. The staff cleaned it every day. It's not far to walk to Sai Kaew Beach. There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The price is not expensive. I like it very much. I will stay again if I have a chance. 👍👍👍"

"We recently stayed at Samet Cabana Resort on Ao Wong Duean, and it was exactly the tropical escape we were looking for. We booked the Beach Cabana, and we cannot recommend it enough. The Room: Staying in the Beach Cabana meant waking up to the sound of the waves every morning. Stepping out onto the porch with a view of the ocean was the highlight of the trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and had that authentic island bungalow feel while still having modern amenities (the AC worked great!). Being just a few steps from the water made all the difference. The Location: Ao Wong Duean is a fantastic beach, it’s lively enough to have good restaurants and fire shows at night, but much more relaxed than the busy main pier area. The water was clear and great for swimming right in front of the resort. Service & Food: The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, from check-in to check-out. The breakfast buffet had a good mix of options to start the day. If you are coming to Koh Samet, do yourself a favour and splurge a little for the Beach Cabana. It transforms the trip from a standard hotel stay into a real beach holiday. We’ll definitely be back!"

"If you are picky, need private beach and a big swimming pool - this hotel is not for you. It is a nice small hotel, with small pool, great breakfast. There are rooms that can fit 4 people. It’s a 20 second walk to the beach, you can rent a beach chair or lay on the towel. This hotel only servers breakfasts, there is no lunch or dinner, but you can always get good food at Samed Villa Restaurant. It’s a pleaser stay for several days, lots of greenery on this hotel property, it’s small but cozy."

"The location are amazing and also the hotel have a lot of green area, room was so comfy even I choose the standard room however every morning some staff shouted so loudly it’s wake me up due to there is no sound proof of the hotel! If they inform staff to not shout in the morning that’s would be nice! Ah one more thing, hotel breakfast was good and yummy!"

"I saw some reviews before saying it was run down, and I was hesitant to book, but our group of 8 people stayed there and actually thought it was pretty good. The hygiene was decent, and the location was about a 7-8 minute walk to the beach. If you're a family, it's definitely a good option, go ahead and book with confidence."

"The location is convenient, just a few meters from the sea, and close to the lively areas too. The hotel itself is in a relatively quiet spot, and I say 'relatively quiet' because it's surrounded by lush vegetation. Many birds start their dawn chorus early in the morning, which is actually lovely – waking up to the sounds of different birds is quite nice. The hotel is a bit old, and the rooms aren't large, but they do clean upon request. The rooms have everything you need for a short stay. We really enjoyed it, though our noisy neighbors who were playing loud music and singing spoiled it a little. However, the hotel staff quickly quieted them down by asking them to keep it down."

"### Review of Samed Grandview Resort We recently stayed at Samed Grandview Resort and had a wonderful experience overall. The resort's location is stunning, with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere that made our stay enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met. However, we felt that the beach entertainment could use some improvement. While the idea of music on the beach is great, the selection and execution were somewhat lacking, making it a bit boring at times. As professionals in the entertainment industry, we believe there are ways to enhance the experience for guests, such as incorporating a more diverse music selection or live performances. "This is a good low budget option to experience island life, but not that low budget £60 per night ( January 2026) We are very familiar with island life in Thailand and appreciate that some things just don’t work as well. The location of Malibu Samed Resort is gorgeous, it’s more or less situated on the beach of the small quaint Wong Duean Bay. There are several beach restaurants available, the vibe is chilled, without the drinking or ******** culture. It’s lovely. Our welcome was warm, the staff were great and happy to help with our luggage. Our room is small 16 m² with 2 single beds, some hanging and storage space. It has a rustic feel to it. There is a fridge which is always welcome, tea and coffee making facilities, which we always appreciate, as well as a safety deposit box & flat screen TV. The bed and pillow are comfortable but not sumptuous. Towels are provided and I would say are of typical island quality. However the shower was an issue, obviously water is limited on the island and taking a hot shower was challenging but actually having a good supply of water either in the evening or morning was very hit and miss. Missed more often, it gets frustrating when you can’t have an adequate shower, that’s one of the reasons we move about frequently. Breakfast is of limited quality but there are a variety of options including cereal, hot food both western & Thai. Toast cereal and tea & coffee. The pool area was hardly used during our stay so a nice quiet retreat from the beach was available."
