"We were a large group and booked late, so there weren't many options available, and I didn't have high expectations for this hotel. However, the experience was still very poor. The hotel's check-in policy wasn't very clear; I couldn't figure out if children staying required an extra charge. So, we just booked five rooms for two nights. My room was on the second floor and had no hot water, so I had to shower in other rooms. Even then, the water in those rooms wasn't very stable, fluctuating between strong and weak, and hot and cold. The most troublesome issue was insect bites. There were ants on the bed. Although the staff sprayed insecticide during cleaning, I was still bitten quite badly. For someone like me, who suffers from papular urticaria, it was particularly annoying. Outside the hotel, there's a convenience store, restaurants, and motorbike rentals. There's also a slightly smaller beach nearby, and the environment is decent. Diamond Beach is about a 10-minute walk away. In the evenings, the bar outside was a bit noisy, which kept the elderly in our group from sleeping. Overall, young people with low expectations might consider it. But for families like ours, with seniors and children, you'd really need to weigh whether you can accept these shortcomings."

"Stayed here because I heard amazing things about Koh samet The room was super cool and in a good area near the port and the beach The beach is so beautiful and I’d recommend to anyone. The hotel was a nice distance from the 7 eleven However 2 sneaky little geckos was spotted in the room and woke up with lots of bites did check out early but was also backpacking and was more of a chill vibe. Be warned there is an entry fee onto the island"

"I honestly didn’t expect it to be this good. The resort is literally just steps away from the beach, with waves and sea breeze greeting you the moment you step outside. We stayed in a regular room this time, but next time I’m booking one of the beachfront rooms—imagine waking up, opening the door, and walking straight into the water for a morning swim. The breakfast was satisfying, and the restaurant’s food was absolutely delicious, the kind you’ll think about long after your trip. A week there felt far too short—I could have stayed forever."

"From the pier to the hotel on foot along the central street of Samet, the hotel is conveniently located, although at first we did not find it, since it is in a common courtyard with other buildings of the Siakaew chain, if you walk along the beach, it is easier to find it, the reception is hidden right behind the beach restaurant, by the way, in the mornings from the restaurant they really rattle dishes very noisily)). The reception staff is very friendly, they checked us in right away (and we arrived at 10 am, ☝️), the rooms have no windows, there is a large portal to the inner hall and that's it, but there is enough light. The room has everything you need, 4 towels, gel, shampoo, coffee, a comfortable soft mattress, a dryer on the mini balcony, there is also a folding basin if you need to wash something, I have not seen this in Thailand yet. There is another problem that everyone writes about, it is the smell of sewage, I woke up at night from a terrible stench, the problem was solved with the same basin, we covered the shower drain with it and the smell disappeared, another plus is that at the entrance from the beach to the restaurant there is a place where you can wash your feet from sand, and not carry it into the room"

"This is a good hotel, centrally located on the island and just a 10-minute walk from the port. There are two 7/11 stores nearby, and across the street, there's a cafe serving delicious local rice and soup dishes. Saikeo Beach is a 3-minute walk away, and other beautiful beaches are within easy walking distance. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, which wasn't an issue for us even though we stayed on the 4th floor. Our room didn't have a clothes hanger, and the wardrobe had an unpleasant smell. Overall, our stay was excellent, and I recommend this hotel."

"The room was beautiful and clean. I got a room next to the Kahe and Sai Kaew beach. The view was beautiful. The accommodation was between Buggy and Sai Kaew Beach Resort, and it was a short walk to a 7-Eleven. Breakfast was a set menu with options to order in advance. You can eat at the cafe or in your room. However, the staff at the cafe and other areas lacked service mind. They didn't smile and greet me. They were either sitting on their phones or chatting in groups. The water and toiletries were insufficient for the guests. The restaurant and cafe closed early, closing before 5 p.m. There was nothing available for drinks or food. The entrance was under renovation, but every time I walked past, the attentive receptionist would come out and tell the technician to stop and let me pass. Thank you. The air conditioning wasn't cool throughout the room, but overall, I liked the beautiful and complete interior design. The mattress on the large bed was too soft, causing back pain."

"The hotel is new, all the bath accessories are there, no need to bring a bunch of bubbles with you. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, brushes, pastes, cotton swabs. Clean, nice, hot water! Clean bed linen, towels! Comfortable pillows) complimentary upon arrival - chips, hot chocolate) Breakfast is decent - and coffee and juice and water will be brought to you, and food similar to English breakfast. You will be given a voucher for sun loungers! The location is ideal - the center of all the action, but at the same time quiet and calm at night, you can't hear the music. The only thing that slightly spoiled the impression is the employee who receives guests. We had to leave the island at 16:30, came to extend until 16:00 hotel, translated our request with the help of a translator with sound, since for some reason she could not just read from the screen what was written there in Thai. In general, as it turned out, she nodded to us that we could stay until 4 pm, agreed and announced the surcharge, but in the end we still paid 3 times more than what was announced, since in fact, when checking out, she told us that we misunderstood her) The surcharge for every half hour of room extension is 200 baht. Be prepared that the receptionist simply will not understand you, the dialogue will be difficult. Neither Russian nor English, only Thai with voice acting. Translation difficulties, costs)) But despite this pun with the check-out, we really liked everything and recommend the hotel. "Mixed impressions) For families with children, the pool was a great help: two depths, for babies and a maximum of 110 cm. We vacationed with my 9-year-old daughter in June 2025. There were waves in the bay, so we often swam in the pool. For breakfast: buffet (watermelon, melon, tea, coffee, juices, cornflakes, milk, green lettuce, cherry tomatoes, white rice, rice with vegetables, with chicken, sausages, fried eggs, white toast, jam, butter, etc.) We got a room in which the water in the shower and sink did not drain, not comfortable at all. But we lasted two nights) as in other houses - I don't know) Overall, good. We rented a motorbike and traveled around the island: we were on other beaches and at View points. At the very end of the island, there are gorgeous views!"

"The room was spotless and beautifully decorated. The location was convenient, and the breakfast was outstanding. Upon check-in, we encountered an issue with the door lock, but the hotel promptly arranged a room change. The front desk staff handled the situation with great efficiency and professionalism. Overall, it was a wonderful stay."

CCooldayThe Samed Resorts group offers the guests a free boat shuttle service to Samed Island (even free car parking), which I find very convenient. The staff helped us loading the baggage to the boat and from the boat to the hotel. Ban Ploy sea is located right next to the pier with a few minutes walk. The check-in went smoothly. The staff was so helpful and friendly. He even offered me an upgrade room with the sea front view for 2 nights. The room was clean and comfy. At the back of the resort is a log house cafe, offering tasty cakes and fancy drinks. I feel really relaxed lying on a private beach. In the evening we were so lazy to go out, just had dinner at the hotel‘s restaurant every night. It was not cheap but everything was delicious. Overall, we are very satisfied. Highly recommended!

The rooms were fairly basic, not the most comfortable of beds and did not get cleaned during our 3 night stay. Water was provided and towels replaced once, left outside for us to collect. The restaurant was fairly reasonable, music at night. Unfortunately the rooms were very noisy, you could hear the neighbours during the night and lizards on the roof. The location is a lovely beach, not too far to walk on the beaches to tubtim, but a bit too far to walk to the main town.

Regardless of the chosen accommodation option, you will have the opportunity to enjoy nature and relaxation in exceptionally comfortable conditions, and the hotel staff will sincerely do everything possible for this, starting from meeting you in your own station area before transferring to the island. The organization of the hotel is at its best. Cleanliness, comfort, quality of bedding, friendliness and responsiveness of the staff, security, attitude towards guests, breakfasts, a restaurant for lunch and dinner overlooking the beach, a bar with drinks, two different beaches, a large territory - everything is equipped and done so that guests do not want to leave the hotel throughout their stay. In my opinion, the hotels of the Samedresorts chain and in this case Sai Kaew Beach Resort are one of the best pages of our frequent vacation in Thailand. This time, our large group of friends with children and parents (23 people), vacationing in Pattaya, rented 8 or 9 separate deluxe cottages in this hotel for three nights. Despite the different ages of the vacationers (the youngest tourist was 2 years old), everyone had the kindest and most positive memories and impressions of the trip. Once again, many thanks to the management and the entire large team of the hotel for the warmth and truly heartfelt welcome. It was a complete Sabai. Special thanks to Mr. Lek, now our friend Lek, for his daily attention, kindness, care and those feelings that brought tears to our eyes upon departure. GGuest UserThe location is really far off. In the last corner of the island. If you don’t have a motorcycle you don’t get around well. There is a shuttle bus which costs around 120 to get to the main area one way for two, but it isn’t that reliable. It is supposed to leave once per hour at 30min after the full hour but sometimes it leaves 5min early and you are stranded for the hour, sometimes you wait until 45min after the hour. The friendlieness of the staff was from super genuinely friendly and helpful to „ I don’t give the slightest **** for you“ really depends on the person. Breakfast was good, especially the thai soups. Eating dinner there is very expensive and not that good. The restaurant location outside is spectacular. With view over the sea in many directions. The huts where you stay are simply too small. I. Essence only a bed that you can walk around. No desk or something. No shelves or something where you could store or hang clothes. You have to live out of the luggage your suitcase. The issue is : there is only space to have one opened at the time, no space for two. That makes it rather inconvenient. The water in the romm is in glass bottles , but it is actually tab water smells like chlorine. I gor stomach pain drinking only one. We were told if we need drinking water , we must use the overpriced water from the minibar. The beach wasn’t that great. You don’t walk on sand and there was lots of rubble in the water, not pleasant to swim. I would not go there again

Only stayed 1 night out of 3 moved to c samet beach resort which was considerably better. Room twice the size of room in la lune .

CcrazyfxGuys! If you're expecting three stars, breakfast in bed, or anything else that might be missing, don't hold your breath! In 3 minutes on foot, you'll find a heavenly sea, kinetic sand, eternal summer – simply everything you need for happiness. The rooms are a bit run down; we only had two outlets in the whole room. They change the bedding and bring plenty of bottled water. However, they didn't even empty the ashtray for four days, even though there was cleaning. For three out of four days, they couldn't fix our air conditioner; that's just how Sabai is. They came, looked, and told us to turn it off for an hour. But why come to such heavenly places and worry about the room? It's just for sleeping and the toilet! By the way, the flow-through shower gets boiling hot, and the hot water is excellent. For normal, resilient souls, this is a great option if you're coming for the sea!
