Hotel San Valentino Terme

excellent room cleaning. good outdoor pool maintenance. perfect spa and staff. The internal structure of the hotel is old, the rooms (superior category) are not equipped with safe, the wardrobes without locks, the furniture is very old. The noisy air conditioning system. The catering was disappointing. Considering the season of the first fruits (tomatoes, courgettes, aubergines, cucumbers) we had to settle for FROZEN cauliflower, fennel, spinach. The breakfast buffet is also disappointing: peaches in syrup to replace fresh fruit, apples and bananas. The croissants were raw on the inside. The staff at the tables rushed, rude and surly.

Wonderful experience in this beautiful structure where we were welcomed by friendly but professional staff at the same time, the common areas starting from the beautiful hall to finish at the swimming pools and the spa activities are of an excellent standard. Nice and well kept hotel, slightly dated but very clean rooms, location in a quiet area not far from the Aragonese Castle and with a walk you can reach the beach. The indoor thermal pool is very relaxing. We took advantage of the half board to be able to tour the island which is wonderful, pleasant breakfast and dinner. I am satisfied.

I stayed at the San Valentino hotel from 17 to 24 October 2021, as an escort of a mixed age group, our experience was enchanting! Starting from the restaurant service ... excellent cuisine and impeccable dining room service managed by the meter Salvatore always fully available !!! Extreme kindness and welcome at the reception by Valentino and Benedetta! Excellent cleanliness of the hotel and rooms! Convenient location to reach everything beautiful on this magical island there is to visit! What can I say ... I can't wait to go back! I recommend as a customer of the hotel and also based on my experience as a travel agent and escort, absolutely to stay at Valentine's Day !!!

This hotel? A great disappointment we booked in the hotel San Valentino, with expectations of a relaxing holiday, with the services that had been listed, instead we find the indoor pools that can be used only half an hour a day, with zero visa cleaning of the pools. that the plasters floated the other pool always the indoor one there was dirt everywhere, not at all Knapp path out of service, then the outdoor pool was half empty and very dirty so we turned in the direction and they assured us that they would clean it and filled, filled but clean I would say no, to which I sent an email of a great disappointment for everything we were experiencing, I did not receive any response, but the next morning they had emptied the pool and were cleaning it, even if the days to come there was no cleaning maintenance, not to mention the kitchen, a pasta and beans with frozen mussels, the waiter dropping the cutlery the rac takes and puts them at the table, the waiter who cleaned the tables with the diners' napkins then folded it and put it back at the table itself, the fish soup presented on the same plate together with the mashed potatoes, which they had passed the night before, then was left, plus a 4-star hotel that passes the Gordon blue, you can not see this mess, and made fun of us customers, I made a small summary of all this, there would be things to say , but I'll stop here, my husband and I have worked all year and we wanted a relaxing holiday, with all this that happened I would say that it was quite relaxing, also because they told us since it is almost closing some services came to missing, I think they should have made us aware of all this, and that in any case the cleanliness is the behavior of some members of the restaurant has nothing to do with it, but because they did not close before, perhaps they would have closed in style, we have stayed almost at the end of October, surely they will never see us again, this is our misadventure, highly discouraged

Albergo: La struttura si presenta in vecchio stile, fatiscente e poco curata nei dettagli. Molti collaboratori, ma ancora piu' capi...visto che la gestione e' familiare, ma comanda il padre, il figlio, la moglie, la sorella...etc. L acqua della piscina e' calda e torbida e ai bordi e' facile notare la presenza di alghe e muschio. L' ascensore e' vecchio e molto rumoroso e quando e' in azione sembra ci siano lavori in corso con un escavatrice I bambini non sono benvenuti, non possono giocare a biliardo, e non possono entrare alle Terme anche se alla Reception ci e' stato detto il contrario... Mentre sono in Piscina gli si fa presente che vige l' obbligo di indossare la cuffia, ma il quadro che si presenta ogni giorno e' Ben visibile nelle Foto allegate...forse la cuffia e' obbligatoria solo per I bambini...anche il propietario molto scorbutico fa presente ai bambini, obblingandoli con toni molto duri ad uscire dalla piscina, che la cuffia e' obbligatoria senza curarsi degli adulti che non la indossano e continuano indisturbati a starci dentro. Secondo il regolamento interno non e' consentito circolare in costume da bagno o in topless ma se un cliente si presenta col costume alla Reception nessuno gli dice niente Servizi: Al Bar i collaboratori non chiedono se non li si chiama per ordinare La navetta per la spiaggia passa in ritardo e a volte bisogna aspettare che ritorni perché già piena...tempi di attesa più di 30 minuti,  conducente scortese e maleducato (uomo di bassa statura con i baffi). La cucina e' di buon livello anche se il Buffet degli antipasti e della colazione sono piuttosto monotoni, anche il rimpiazzo e' inadeguato. Per la spiaggia convenzionata, ca. 50 metri quadrati, si paga 30 Euro in prima e seconda e 25 in terza fila per 1 Ombrellone e 2 sdraio...lo stesso prezzo che viene richiesto sulle altre spiagge private, molto più grandi, per un passante ... La pulizia in generale viene fatta in modo molto superficiale tralasciando gli spazi meno visibili come sotto al letto o ai mobili. Più che una struttura Alberghiera e' un Mix tra una casa di riposo per anziani e un ostello per giovani Mao mao che sbraitano in continuazione Unica Nota positiva: Personale di sala gentile ed efficiente. (Non tutti, visto come e'stato servito il Cappuccino...vedi Foto...) Per il prezzo pagato siamo rimasti molto delusi Il Motto dell'Albergo Arriva un cliente, parte un amico deve essere cambiato in: Arriva un cliente, parte una persona scontenta che non ritornera' piu'. Assolutamente sconsigliato Una Stella, solo perché non se ne puo' assegnare zero

Siamo in treno di ritorno a casa dopo una settimana favolosa in questo Hotel, gentilezza, pulizia, ottima cucina e location lussureggiante. Comodissimo al centro di Ischia, e al castello aragonese. Ottimo servizio navetta per la spiaggia, raggiungibile comunque anche a piedi in 10 minuti. Tutto il personale gentilissimo, cucina ottima, varia ma sopratutto leggera e abbondante. Una nota di merito va al sig. Michele, il proprietario, che con la sua discreta presenza controlla direttamente il buon funzionamento dell’Hotel. Una garanzia per il Cliente, mi spiace non averlo potuto salutare personalmente. Che dire……… da ritornarci a occhi chiusi.
