Overall I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is very nice, the room is clean and modern and clean hotel. Great location, walking distance to grand bazar. Breakfast was good. Staffs are nice and they are very attentive. It is really worth the money spent. Recommended!!

In Trip.com, this hotel is classified as 5 star. This is incorrect, as the hotel is really 3 or 2 star. I had great expectations about this hotel, thinking that I got a great deal on a 5 star hotel, and also seeing that it is close to the historical district. This was broken to shambles as soon as I reached the neighborhood of the hotel. It is located in a neighborhood in Istanbul than can give you an unsafe feeling. The lobby is neat, but tiny. There was one staff at the reception, and he did not have any professional attire. When we reached the room, we were pleasantly surprised, as the room was neat and it was as seen in the pictures. The bathroom was small too, and cleanliness was okay. However, since they masqueraded as a 5 star hotel and the location and hotel wasn't giving us a safe feeling, we decided not to stay and we checked out in 15 minutes. Not recommended unless you know the place and know what you are getting into.

Forced consumption.
We booked a single room when we made the reservation, but we were not aware of it at the time. Two people took their luggage and passports to the front desk to check in, but the front desk only took the passport of the person who made the reservation, and did not take the other person's. Then they lowered their heads throughout the process and gave us the room card. We were quite surprised at the time, but we took the room card and went into the room. After 20 minutes, the front desk called to ask if the other person wanted to stay here. If they wanted to stay here, they had to open an extra room, and refused to cancel the room for us on the grounds that the room had already been used. When we negotiated at the front desk, the front desk had an extremely bad attitude and blamed the customer for the fault. He said that he thought the other person was just a visitor (but it was obvious that two people took their luggage to the front desk to check in) and asked us to open an extra double room and paid 70 euros. And threatened us rudely and unreasonably. In the end, the two of us paid for two rooms.
And the quilt of the newly opened double room was very dirty, and there were shoe prints! The hygiene was worrying. It was a very bad check-in experience,
