It is a good hotel. The reviews of the place are legit. The hotel staff are helpful and extremely polite. We had a good experience overall with clean rooms, great shower and water pressure. They also help with the luggage om arrival and departure using the covered golf cart in case there is rain. Great location

There are more pros than cons, but there are cons. The hotel is composed of a number of independent houses, located on a public street, i.e., to go from one room to another or to the reception/restaurant, you have to go out to the street and go into another building. It is not cozy at all. The hotel is located at a stone's throw from the Topkapi Palace, the Hagia Sofia Mosque, the Blue Mosque and the Water Cistern. You walk less than 3 minutes to get to any of them. On the other hand, amid Istanbul’s traffic, the worst I have ever seen in my life, the traffic near the hotel is the worst of the worst. Very easy to get to the places I mentioned, a nightmare to get in and out of an extremely bad location traffic wise to the generally very bad traffic elsewhere in town. Rooms are decorated in Turkish style, spacious and modern. All convenience you would expect from an hotel of this category are available. Were it not for the location, it would not have been the best choice in my opinion.

The room is not big, but the location is super good. The hotel's garden is also very nice, and it's quite nice to take photos. Just 2 minutes after going out, turn right and you will see the Blue Mosque and Sophia Cathedral. There are two Egyptian monuments and a snake-headed staff on the square. The starting point of the sightseeing tour bus is right on the square. It is very convenient to get there. To exit the square, go left. Going out is Victory Street, which is very lively and has trams running through it, which is also very unique. Go down (right) on Victory Street and you will go to the Old Palace. If you look at the mosque on the left and Sophia Cathedral on the right, the Basilica Cistern is on the right side of the square. The entrance to the Basilica Cistern is where people are queuing across the road. We stayed for 5 nights and walked around every day. It was very atmospheric. In Muslim countries, prayers are held five times a day. When the loudspeaker sounds, it is most disturbing in the early morning. However, they seem to be very conscious, and the volume is slightly lower in the morning and the duration is shorter. The rest of the time, just enjoy listening to music when praying. Every time, there is a live broadcast of prayers in every mosque, playing a long tune as if singing, which is very exotic. Basically, you have to negotiate the price of a taxi, and Grab also negotiates the price. They all charge extortionate prices, so you must negotiate before getting in the car.

Very central location, very close to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. Very kind and helpful staff. When we arrived in our room the radiator broke and they changed our room to a more expensive one with a sea view at no extra charge. Although we didn't use it, the hotel also has a SPA. Highly recommended

Absolutely great place to stay! The hotel is placed on the heart of the city, all main sightseeing’s in walking distance, a lot of restaurants around so it’s easy to find nice place for lunch or dinner or just for cup of Turkish tea. The hotel is not big, with very stylish local design and absolutely warm atmosphere inside: a lot of respect and care about the guests. The rooms are clean and have nice design, small balconies with street view or sea view on other side. In nice cafe on the first floor good breakfast are served. Especially would like to thank Kenan from reception for his hospitality, help in every question we had, stories and recommendations about the city. It was pleasant stay :) Thank you

You don't need to go to the airport and you don't need to go to the airport, which saves worry, money and time. I stayed at this hotel during the epidemic. The key is that the price is the same as the airport, and I did not overcharge me. Breakfast is not an optional mode, but is made directly on the plate. Although it is a bit simple, it is full. As far as the price of the hotel is concerned, it is very affordable. Highly recommend this hotel, I hope you all have a pleasant journey and have fun.

Arrived last Friday evening, nice welcome, was informed I had to pay for my room, I had pre-paid, which on inspection, it was agreed I didn't have to pay again.... Dinner on Friday night was exquisite, fabulous service, amazing food, expensive but worth it, the restaurant and rooftop bar are independent of the hotel. Saturday morning, went for a lovely breakfast, back to the room and realised my room door did not lock, informed reception, and a gentleman arrived shortly afterward to check the door. Firstly he said it was my key card that was at fault. When I asked if I could show him the issue, he rolled his eyes and said no. When he did allow me to demonstrate, he walked away from me saying it was technical. I had to call after him to see if it would be fixed, he did not turn around but walking away said, ten minutes. the door was fixed eventually but the whole episode took around an hour. Before I left the hotel (11:20am) I dropped a dress at reception to be pressed. I got back to the hotel just before 9pm, went to my room, no dress, down at reception i asked where it was, the gentleman on reception called the laundry service, and at the end of the call, I had to ask what was happening. I was told laundry would call him back. He then asked what I had left, colour etc. so it could have been in the laundry in a sister hotel, I would get it on Sunday. I explained I was leaving on Sunday and needed the dress now, if it hadn't been ironed yet, to just return it to me.

We booked the Deluxe Room for 3 nights. Upon arrival at 11am we were given the room straight away, thanks!! We had requested for a room on a high floor and allocated a room on their 5th floor, same floor as the breakfast terrace cafe. Our Deluxe room (501) didn’t look like the photos but perhaps those photos were of the old Ambassador Hotel. And it seems smaller as well. However, I’m not complaining since it is a corner room thus have loads of windows with decent views. Despite nothing exciting but good enough, especially since prior to arrival the hotel had communicated that the rooms have no view. Thus, it exceeded my expectations 😁. And it’s great that we were on the same floor as the terrace. Feels like our own home! Aircond was slightly an issue since it was blowing warm air. Reception informed April is still winter mode so no cold aircond. We solved the issue by turning it off and opening the windows wide. No noise whatsoever. Bathroom not my favourite since the shower had just a partial barrier so the floor right by the shower entrance did get wet. Breakfast - Pretty basic but they did offer freshly fried egg/omelet. The view was AMAZING though! Location - Excellent, so many eateries in the surroundings. And just a minute walk to the Sultanahmet Tram Stop. Very easy to find, just in a walkway next to Adonin Cafe & Restaurant. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Istanbul. The most convenient place and the best value amongst the 3 hotels I shortlisted.

Location is really great When you come and go from Istanbul New Airport, the opposite of the hostel is the airport bus terminal. Most tourist attractions are in the old town and even if you tour, it is comfortable and good because you go around the old town. The lamb house next to the hostel is a restaurant that has a lot of domestic TV. I asked you to do it, but you did it ㅋㅋ lots ㅎㅎ The location was great and the staff was really friendly and the accommodation was clean and nice

We stay in this beautifull hotel for 4 nights in May 2023.The hotel is amazing butik kind situated 200 m infront Blue Musk.In the evening the wiev from the window is spectacular.The location itself is amazing because there is atleast 10-15 Istanbul Must see just 5-15 minut walk. The hotel has also terace on the roof ,and from that spot you can observe all Istanbul day&night....crazy wiev. The food for breakfast is just amazing...so many things to taste...very,very delichius. Rooms are nice and modern, very clean...the bed is perfect too. And on the end the people who work there are amazing...kind,polite,friendly,always prepated to help and assist... All of them deserve 11 of 10 points. Specially thanks to Receptionist BERAT . Because of that kind of people we will always came back at same hotel. Primoz&Tanja Slovenia

The central Istanbul is a medieval street between the Sultanahmet Square and the Basilica Town. Around the city are many hotels and street restaurants, so late in the evening (hours up to 11) may be a little noisy. The hotel is, of course, a little ”tired,” but a magnificent location, availability of an elevator, a wonderful view from the terrace on the fourth floor and, most importantly, the wonderful staff are niggering all small mistakes. A great place to meet Istanbul.
