"This hotel is located on the east side of Victory Park in the city center. The location is excellent. The rooms are pretty standard, as you'd expect from an older star-rated hotel. It's incredibly convenient for getting around; the subway is less than 300 meters from the entrance. There's a cultural street right outside, and a Wanda Plaza is just a short walk across the street. Overall, it feels very safe."

I decided to stay at a place near my friend's house, so I made a reservation because they said it was a hotel that was friendly to foreigners who didn't speak the language, but when I checked in, there was a smell of cigarettes (I knew I couldn't choose the cheapest room, so I asked if I could change to a different room), and they upgraded me to a room on the 17th floor that didn't smell of cigarettes, was twice the size, and even had a bathtub.
