Fantastic service. ALL staff nice, happy and accommodating.
Cozy and quiet despite many families with children. Family feeling.
Even the people staying at the hotel were down to earth and nice people.
The only negative was the dining room and the food. The dining hall echoed and sounded a lot, school cafeteria feel.
The food was ok, you always found something, but not top class. The drinks were fantastic, however, as was the coffee.

We are currently at the Leonardo resort and have had a fab stay! My children and I (14 & 10) received a friendly welcome at reception with a glass of bubbly (juice for the kids) and we were shown to our room and our luggage was carried for us. It was my birthday the day after we arrived and I was surprised with a birthday cake and a bottle of red which was a lovely gesture. The Pool is a decent size although my children said it was on the colder side. There were plenty of sunbeds and we never struggled to find some no matter the time of day, although it may be different during peak season. There is a shop in the hotel selling the essentials and across the road from the hotel there is a shopping centre selling souvenirs etc. The beach is a 2 minute walk and is nice but could do with a clean up! The food was varied which was a relief as some all inclusive resorts can be quite repetitive! The Pool restaurant has burgers, chips, salads, which weren’t the best but they were okay for a quick snack during the day! The staff are all very friendly and we have had a lovely holiday! I would definitely recommend the resort and would return to Leonardo!

Don't worry, this is the place to go and having stayed in Kolymbia several times over the past 24 years I have no worries in recommending this great place for all. From first entering the hotel I met and continued to meet the happy, helpful and charming team, which is Leonardo Hotel. Room was clean and with a very good aircon system, yes even in October this was needed with 32C on several days, useful fridge, well equipped bathroom, slippers and dressing gown, plus a very comfortable bed. During my 2 week stay I visited and stayed in Tilos and Symi, both of which I can recommend and please see my comments on the places I stayed. On my trips away, I would always be asked where I was going and did I need any assistance, on my return real interest in what I had seen and done. The team here are so client focused and when you think they work 7 days a week for the whole session, how they keep smiling, cheerful and helpful shows the management are not bosses but team players. I will hopefully return and know I will love every minute as I have just done. The pictures are: The fishing port about 250 M from the hotel and a friend visiting the gardens around the hotel.

Wow what a wonderful hotel - perfect in every way for us. Perfect location - quiet but very short walk to 3 beaches, and the sea is lovely to swim in. Views of mountains and the sea. Pool area spacious and immaculate. Rooms - great AC, beds comfy, shower powerful, fresh towels daily. Short bus ride for trips out (30 mins to Lindos and about 50 mins to Rhodes town). Bus is 4 euro each way, both are well worth a visit. All of the staff are exceptional from reception, housekeeping and especially Valisis, Spyros and George in the lobby bar and Sakis at the pool bar. Lauren is a great asset very helpful also. Cristos always on hand and helpful in the restaurant. Restaurant buffet great and varied for all 3 meals. My daughter is coeliac so has to eat gluten free. The buffet has a lot of food naturally GF - meat, salad, cheese, potatoes, chips, lots of veg, rice, fruit, yogurts etc. for breakfast they also provide GF pancakes and bread if you ask. Desert only limited GF option (fruit, jelly, yogurt and sorbet) however staff organised for a lovely desert option in the evening if requested. We were at the end of the season (hotels last week before closing) so entertainment had finished. We enjoyed playing games in the bar, sunset walks along the beaches close by, enjoying cocktails chatting to the staff. We wouldn’t usually return to the same place, but this is a little piece of paradise. My teenagers and we adults felt completely recharged. Thank you

So the good points first. Very clean in all areas. Very friendly staff. Bad points, Very lumpy uncomfortable beds. Should never be a 5 star, I'd say a decent 3 at best. I have never stopped at a 5 star all inclusive & been expected to drink tap water. You can normally get small bottles of water at the bar when required but here they just give you a paper cup filled from the tap, unless you are a staff member then you get given a bottle... When you first walk around the restaurant the food looks good but never was the saying, "looks can be deceiving" more fitting. It was never hot, ever & sliced tinned mushrooms should not have a place at a supposedly 5 star hotel. Also small prepacked croissants, which I don't think they even bother heating up at all are available at breakfast.. So if you like bland tasting cold food, lumpy beds & Greek tap water stay at the Leonardo.

The staff were outstanding, especially Stakis at the pool bar and George in the lounge bar. Reception staff were very helpful and the restaurant staff always had a smile for you. The pool areas are well kept and staff walk around several times a day with fresh fruit and cakes. There was plenty of variety in the restaurant but sometimes the food could be luke warm (microwave available) the cleaner in our room 114 worked very hard and was very courteous and always had a big smile for us. The evening entertainment was good when it happened but the day time entertainment wasn’t so great and lacked enthusiasm from the boy and girl doing it. Would I return absolutely. The staff are all amazing just need the entertainment team to up their game.

Beautiful hotel and hard working Staff. M at the cocktail bar was exceptionally wonderful at service. Beautiful location and view. A trip to Lindos Beach and Rodos Town was absolutely worth it. Sadly, we felt the food were similar every day ( Didn't vary much)as compared to many Resorts we've been. Not a lot of Fish dishes/ sea food options. Also not much happened in the afternoon and evening regarding entertainment. There should be more activities in the afternoon and Karaoke, life band, disco, dance in the evenings. Otherwise a relaxing hotel

Absolutely fabulous break! I was hesitant to book an all inclusive as a vegan and spent a long time researching different places. I am so glad that we stayed at the leonardo. All of the staff are wonderful, huge thanks to Sakis at the pool bar and George and Pavlos at the main bar, you were brilliant! Had our drink orders down on the first night, always great to chat to and so good at what they do! The hotel itself is so clean and tidy, the cleaning team does an excellent job. The food selection is good, I had a substantial amount each meal which I was grateful for as I didn’t really know what to expect from an all inclusive as a vegan. Special mention for the animation team who kept us very entertained the whole week. They’re so friendly and did so well organising everything. The evening entertainment is varied and we particularly enjoyed the dancing. All in all a fab trip and we’d love to come back again. Thank you to the whole team!!

The staff were wonderfully helpful (Kiki and Irene on reception) welcomed us and couldn’t fault their help and guidance All the staff were amazing every mouthful of food was delicious and tasty dining staff friendly and helpful The cleaning staff kept the while building and pool area and even the car park immaculate Animation team were enthusiastic The bar staff at the pool and in the hotel were efficient and friendly Carol our jet 2 rep was so helpful too Perfect destination half way between Rhodes and Lindos Recommend this hotel to all ages
