My wife and I had a brilliant holiday here last week. The staff are excellent, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Special mention to Theo (bar manager), Aris & Michael in the main bar, Alexander in the pool bar and Nikolas at reception. And of course Aaron - his smile and enthusiasm is infectious! The food was good and plenty of choice but then food will always be contentious depending on taste. The rooms were clean and spacious. People have complained about rooms only being cleaned every other day but there is a note to say they will clean daily if requested. There is a nice 30 minute walk along the beach to Mastachari where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Pereklis especially was brilliant So good in fact we went there twice for something to eat! My only real criticism would be the mixers/soft drinks. They are too sweet & too flat but all in all that didn't take away from a superb time. This was also made even better by the people we met and spent time with. Heinz 57 Club Rules!! 😀

The reality is what has made this holiday special is the people I have met (as in other guests). Generally though all the staff are very welcoming and friendly, a few stand out, Aaron who drives the buggy he's a special character, and Toni who looks after the beach and will deliver you drinks to the beach. The hotel in general is also the the, the pool, bars, beach views all beautiful. There are several things that let it down though. You can only get your beach/pool towel changed once a week, most places I have stayed even 3 star its at least every 3 days, add to that they bring it to your room and you'll see why that is a problem shortly. The hotels policy to to clean your room every other day, which in it self is not providing a 5 star service (in my opinion). As of yesterday 1 week into my holiday my room had only been cleaned once,, I had to complain 4 times to get clean towels then my room was cleaned inconveniently while I was getting ready for the evening. I suspect they may have attempted to clean it one other time when I stayed in bed until 9.30 ( that isn't late on holiday is it) anywhere else I have been on holiday they would return later in those instances. Another thing you receive one bottle of water on arrival and that is it, again even at 3 star hotels in Greece I have always received 1 bottle a day previously, I don't drink tea or coffee but I have heard from other guests due to the lack of room service these facilities are not being maintained in the rooms. The food is ok generally what you would expect from all inclusive the gyros at the beach is lovely not the best I have had but I love it. The roof top bar is not part of the all inclusive at all you have to pay for anything you have up there, which. Isn't clear on the website.

Great hotel, checkin not till 330pm Rooms great size, staff amazing Super friendly, aircon and safes free of charge Loads of hangers in wardrobes Toiletries in bathroom great quality Tea and coffee in room and coffee machine in certain rooms too Nothing is too much trouble Food great choice all types of diets catered for Beach bar at lunch does amazing gyros plus you can get a lift down and back if you ask at reception, for the more able bodied it's a short 7/8min down hill stroll Loads of trips via reception too into kos etc

Lovely peaceful getaway. Great if you just want to relax. Staff were lovely particularly the bar staff (Alexandra & Aris) after ordering once they knew what you wanted and would have your drink ready before you got your words out which given how many guests there were, was impressive, you could see they worked so hard; the entertainment staff (Riggs & Anesha) were so friendly and had so much energy, really engaging with all the guests, always put on a good show for adults and children. The aquafit in the pool was a particularly good laugh! Entertainment was put on every night so this was great. Also Aaron who would take guests in the buggy around the hotel and to the beach was brilliant, always had a smile on his face and so friendly to everyone and entertaining, you can tell he loves his job. The rooms were large and comfortable, a few issues such as a bath plug missing and cups not clean. No english channels on the tv but this didn’t bother me as I don’t want it but might bother others who do. I found the wifi perfectly good and managed to get it in my room as well so that was good. The food was adequate, a bit cold at times but plenty of choice. It was a shame that although it’s all inclusive this doesn’t include some cocktails and spirits and the all inclusive drinks would stop at 11pm so you need to pay after this time. Lots of nats and ants around the pool but this can’t be helped. Seemed better when there was a bit of a breeze. Take plenty of insect repellant. The pools were lovely and there was always sunbeds free (we went beginning of May). We did notice the sun beds weren’t hosed down/cleaned and hand towels in the toilets were regularly empty. This definitely wasn’t a 5 star hotel in our opinion but overall a really relaxing time away and had a lot of fun.

Great hotel, attentive staff and fab facilities. Very happy with our stay here and would definitely be happy to return. The food offering was good - plenty of choice in the main restaurant. As a surprise bonus they opened the rooftop terrace a la carte restaurant early so we were able to dine there. Also, the beach taverna opened early and served the most delicious gyros.

Just leaving room 255 kouros palace today Ocean view room was great Hotel Beach bar and food are fabulous All inclusive meant we only ventured to dolphin bay bar and lovly bar which are both within a ten minute walk Hired mopeds across the road for a day €30 Thank you Kouros staff , it’s been a great week

Service- In general, the service is excellent. The staff are approachable, friendly, helpful and reliable. In particular, Nikos and Katerina from the Reception. Aaron, the hotel’s golf buggy driver, who is always lively, happy and a good conversationist. Guest Relation Manager Stella, who always checked if everything is okay with us. Main Restaurant Manager Dimitris and the bartender in the Beach Bar. I had to go to hospital for two consecutive nights and the staff who were on duty that time assisted me and my husband with great care and concern. Cleanliness- The hotel grounds and communal areas area always clean. The landscape of the garden is beautifully surrounded with colourful flowering plants, exotic plants and bushes. The a**osphere of the hotel as a whole is relaxing, comfy and refreshing. Location- My husband and I love to stay away from crowded town so the location of the hotel suited us perfectly. In my opinion, everything you need is easily accessible within the hotel’s vicinity. There is a supermarket and rental shop for buggies, atv, car at the front of the hotel. The hotel’s beach is so lovely. We also loved walking around especially after having our meals. Rooms- We booked a family room although it was just me and my husband so we had plenty of space. The room is clean. The air conditioning units works well. The water pressure in the bathroom is superb. We didn’t particularly like the position of the water tap and shower in the bath but it is functional so it was okay. Some pillows in our room were a bit hard but some were soft so we used the soft ones. It would be nice to have a free drinking water in our fridge because water is like a basic need. We did receive this for free because of medical reason. Our room was at the end of the uphill part of the hotel so our Wifi Connection is a bit temperemental. It would be nice it this issue could be improved. The Wifi Connection in the main building where the reception is located is great though. Value- Based on our opinion and experience, our stay in this hotel was good value for the money we paid and we would recommend this hotel to our friends and family. Food- In our opinion, the food and drinks choices is adequately enough. The quality and taste is good. The buffet areas, glasses, cutleries and chinawares are always clean. Dimitris is always approachable, polite and helpful. For us, the greatest asset of this hotel are the staff. We are grateful for your service. We fell in love with Kos Island and Thank you Kouros Palace Hotel. Keep up the good work.

Hotel has exxellent personnels. Aaron, Nikos, Dimitris, Stella and Katerina and the guy who is serving drinks in the beach bar. These guys will look after you. They are friendly and reliable. Five star for them. Greek Food Amazing. Hotel is clean. Wifi connection in our room could be improved although WiFi connection by the reception area is very good.
