The Toa Hotel and Spa is a combination of class and impeccable service. From their friendly and attentive staff to classy modern rooms, getting to the Toa Hotel and Spa feels like walking into a whole new world. The moment you arrive, the staff at Toa make you feel like you are the only guest, a service they extend to all their guests. The Toa has a beautiful sea view, and is designed for relaxation. The pools on the property are designed to cater for a wide variety of guests. From the secluded pools for intimate and private swims, to the pool bar where you can hang out and meet fellow guests. There is also the pool for adults and children, where one can also take part in swim aerobics. We had a family celebration, and although the hotel is designed for unwinding and relaxation, they went out of their way to facilitate a rather noisy crowd and even provided cake! To rest and relax after an intense period of work, I looked for a chic and nice place to stay in Zanzibar. I found the Toa Hotel and Spa which is probably one of the best options to enjoy the quietness of the Pongwe bay. It’s a small resort, with lovely rooms in front of the ocean equipped with taste. The food is fresh and sometimes the customers are invited to enjoy a beach bbq. The staff is friendly and fully dedicated to the customer’s satisfaction and it was a great pleasure to stay at Toa during these holidays.

The hotel is clean, delicious meals, responsive staff and smooth check in and check out. We had a 4 night stay and enjoyed ourselves big time. The hotel manager, FB manager and Esther (at the reception) were outstanding and keen to address any concerns.

great palace , cozy nice , we had 3 nights in the honey moon suite . staff there is very nice, Mr. ally manager with MR kalay they both always on point checking on every detail . we went there they were fully booked, but we enjoy it a lot the room is spacious , good bathroom but the private pool for the suite is tiny , but we know this in advance they had beach dinner night, which was more than amaaaaaazing the soap and shampoo (coconut and lime) really smells good, we went back to the original store in stone town (inaya Zanzibar) to buy the same shampoo the beach is cool, you walk like 500 meter in shallow water during high tide, and the view is great the only down thing in this hotel is the room needs a bigger air-conditioning

We had amazing time at the Toa Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The Hotel Manager Ally leads his entire team perfectly, the guest feel the sincere care of the entire hotel staff. The hotel is new and modern, situated on a beautiful and quiet beach. The main swimming pool has a swim-up bar that offers great alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. Another bar is just a few steps away on the beach. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The food is really delicious, especially dinners on the beach with grilled seafood every Tuesday and Saturday. The wonderful atmosphere of each dinner is enhanced by the performance of local artists. We definitely recommend choosing the Toa hotel for your perfect vacation in Zanzibar.

The staff is very kind and smiling. They are always ready to help you. I think they are the friendliest staff we have come across in our travels. Man sanctifies the place. I recommend this corner of heaven

We had an amazing time here, was above our expectation here are the main reasons: Facilities: they are very new, with a big pool and 2 others, 3 bars (pool, beach and rooftop), 1 restaurant, we really enjoyed our week here. The only downside was the limited sunbeds, but the managment said that were ordered and on their way. Other upside it is a "small" hotel, aprox 200 guests, so there is never a line for food, drinks, restaurant, reception, etc. Staff: This is one of the best upside on the hotel, everybody from the cleaning service, to the restaurant, bars, reception, up to the general manager were always trying to make your stay better. Special thanks to Ally the general manager who was in the hotel always present when needed, with the best of his heart asking "What do you need and what can we do better?", this shows the real comitment to their guest. Food: very good and every day varies what can you eat, with a buffet way, but very nice. Every tuesday and saturday thay make dinner in the beach, which its an amazing experience. We had the all inclusive package, it has a little of everything to drink, but I really missed the sprits alcohols in it. It is good mix, but the alcoholic cocktails are limited, there should be more variety. Location: the hotel is located in a very quiet place, very nice for resting. This side of the island has 2 high tide peak and 2 low tide peaks in a day, and it's peak time vary each day (you can google how its going to be for your stay) for example for us when we arrived we had high peak at 6 am and 6 pm, low tide peak at 12 pm and 12am. This means that the sea at 12 pm it is between 1 and 2 km inside, and at 6 pm it was compleatly in. We took it as a show and was incredibly to see happen every day. So in midday we were in the pool, and afternoon on the beach.
