Kings Langley

Quite an average hotel that is dated. At the end is another establishment - steakhouse that was really good. They share the car park. No lift made me regret packing 20kg into a suitcase as I managed the stairs up to my room. Basic amenities - but it is what was expected. The village is pretty with some good coffee and places to eat.

What on earth is going on at this hotel??? STAY AWAY!! I used to love coming here with nan and the family but the past few months- I’ve been twice it’s been atrocious here. Their standards their service is almost non existent. It feels like what ever we asked for was an effort. Shame as I used to like this hotel but we won’t be coming here again

So disappointed to write this but PI have failed to acknowledge my previous formal complaint. Generally this is a very average PI and I had quite a small room, however I encountered a litany of issues during my 3 night stay in February that prompted my complaints. These included, no heating at all for the whole stay despite raising the issue twice with staff and then trying to work in the room while it was cold was not tolerable. Poor wifi on 2nd evening and no internet/wifi on the 3rd evening even after asking for an ultimate wifi voucher twice, neither worked, so gave up! It didnt help when the all the fire alarms went off at 6am one morning and no-one came round to communicate any action/non-action. Unfortunately the car park was also covered in litter and rubbish and I think this is a metaphor for the management at this PI hotel, i.e a laissez-faire attitude to facilities maintenance and customer service. I stay at many PI's all over England for work all year-round and on the rare occasion that I do have an issue, its normally dealt with promptly by on-site staff. Unfortunately this did not happen at Kings Langley.

We encountered a slight issue with our room upon arrival and we went back to reception to speak to Saahd who had booked us in. He was excellent, very courteous and sympathetic to our issue. He was a real credit to the company.

We stayed at this hotel for a visit to Harry Potter World. It was a surprise for our kids and the fella at check-in nearly gave the surprise away. The room was fine, pretty standard Premier Inn fare although it was extremely hot and the bed seemed smaller than usual beds which meant we had a dreadful sleep the first night we were there. We were then given a fan which helped to keep things somewhat cooler. The breakfast was good and we found the staff helpful.

This has to be the best we have ever been treated, the check in lady was so lovely, nothing was too much. We arrived late and had a horrible drive from Birmingham in the rain and flooded side roads and wasn't in the best of moods. We was greeted with a can do attitude and was overwhelmed with how much we felt so welcomed with a change of room for my wife who's in a wheelchair and our autistic children, colouring sheets and crayons and magic markers, fruit and extra towels all brought to our rooms. The breakfast was amazing and so fresh that just came out of the oven. Everything was so perfect and we can't thank you enough, you made our trip to Harry potter studio tour Londons first autism friendly tour truely magical. Thank you!.

Stayed here after a rather large lunch date the hotel chain nationwide was having IT issues and couldn’t check guests in or issue room keys but it was handled very well by the staff and they checked us in and provided an emergency room key this hotel is in a good location it’s 10 mins from Hemel Hempstead town centre and 10 mins from Watford town centre 5 mins from the M25 the bed as always was comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful even when under stress so thank you

Fantastic stay , The rooms had balloons in and chocolate for the children also drawing paper and crayons , our towels where made into swans , so special thank you so much .The staff where amazing , so helpful

There was only one hand towel in the bathroom for 2 people for 2 days. We had to ask for a plug for the sink in the bathroom. Also for extra pillows. one pillow each when one person is disabled is not enough I am afraid. The chairs in the bedroom were very hard, and scruffy. I thought it neede refurbishing, and a shower would have been nice, I am disabled and cannot get into a bath ( we had the disabled room) Overall I was disappointed, with the hotel, not the staff.
