Simple guesthouse with simple amenities. Service staff was polite. Breakfast was simple but homely. Safe environment.

Clean and simple room. Shared amenities. Unusual breakfast. We were given a plate with croissant, juice, apple, hard boiled egg, rasher of cold bacon and cheese and cucumber. Not what I was expecting. Seemed a bit wasteful as I really don't desire cucumber for breakfast. Croissant was fresh and lovely.

We stayed at here for one night during our road trip along Iceland’s South Coast, and it was one of the best accommodations of our trip! clean rooms with scenic views and Free parking and helpful staff Anyway No nearby stores or gas stations (plan ahead!) and little bathroom

The room was small but adequate. The bathroom too small, with a tiny sink. There was no bath soap or shampoo. The shower curtain was mildewed at the bottom. There was a teapot shared by the four units in our building, but no coffee, just sugar. The restaurant was great for dinner, but the included breakfast was poor. We were given a tray with preselected items. The croissant and coffee were excellent. I passed on the oatmeal and oat bread, which left a light continental breakfast. Poor value compared to the other guesthouses we encountered in Iceland.

The rooms are clean and tidy. As we have booked four rooms , it occupies a single house which is very friendly use. However the breakfast opens at 8 only and for those early leavers, it is a bit odd and inconvenient

The hotel is in a great location, and it's easy to walk to anywhere. The owner was very happy to help call a taxi, and the taxi picked us up on time on the day we left. It was very smooth.

The hotel is quite pleasantly surprised. There is a high waterfall and a mature trail. I will take a walk next time if I have time. The restaurant next to the hotel is a big highlight.

The basalt black sand beach is 84 kilometers from the hotel. //1. There are no supermarkets or restaurants near the hotel. If you need to dine, consider ordering meals in advance at the hotel restaurant, or stop by a supermarket on the way to the hotel and pick up some groceries. 2. The rooms are clean, with double and single beds in separate areas (children feel comfortable having their own separate areas), and you can turn on the heating if needed. 3. The rooms are well-equipped, including a kettle and hairdryer. 4. The hotel has a communal laundry room, which is convenient for washing and drying dirty clothes from your trip. 5. Breakfast is rationed. When you report your room number in the restaurant, the staff will bring each guest a generous breakfast tray, including a croissant, sliced ​​bread, cheese, a boiled egg, juice, and fruit. The staff will ask if you would like ham and, if so, will place a slice on each guest's plate. 6. There is a river in front of the hotel, and you can walk along the path to see the local horses and sheep. 7. The hotel does not provide shower slippers, so it is recommended that you bring your own slippers before departure. During this tour around Iceland, I stayed in 8 hostels/hotels, and none of them provided slippers.

Nice guesthouse, friendly staff. Rooms are a bit dated, but clean. Breakfast is very simple, pre-prepared, and you can't choose your own food, which is probably simply not possible due to the large number of rooms.

The hotel is surrounded by lakes and national parks, and the location is suitable for the second day's itinerary. The room was average, but I have to praise that we had to travel early the next morning and didn't have time to eat breakfast. I told the front desk that I wanted to pack a meal for the trip and they really found a way to help us solve it! Everyone had cereal, juice, toast, croissants and cheese and even a few slices of cucumber! The quantity was so large that we even had lunch. The service was very good.

The room is relatively large and has its own bathroom. The service was good too. Breakfast is distributed per person and coffee is available as you like. There is a small river in front of the house and a waterfall behind the house. The price is just more expensive!

The room was OK, but the breakfast was very bad, just two slices of bread and a cup of cereal that you need to make yourself. No milk, eggs or fruit. I'm sorry for the 2000+ room fee. I was so angry that I forgot to take pictures.

Although the hotel is a bit old, the facilities are clean and tidy, and the overall feeling is good

Accommodation is clean and in a great location. Only the breakfast is below standard, that should be different given the price.
