Atlantica Mare Village Paphos

I’d give this 3 1/2 stars out of 5 if I could. Stayed for a week in late April / May with my wife and toddler, and our friends with their toddler. Positives: really nice modern hotel with stunning views. Lovely room (we got lucky with getting a sea view which was actually by the sea, whilst our friends sea view was set back in the main building). Great selection of pools and a nice beach area you can access. Al la carte restaurants were both good (taverna and green&grill). Generally the range and variety of food on offer was good, including the buffet options and snacks throughout the day. Good quality and range of amenities and staff were generally helpful and friendly, especially in the lounge bar and a la carte restaurants. Negatives: buffet was very busy and no enforcement of a dress code. We went at various times and either you get fresh food at busy time, or the leftovers when it’s quiet near the end. Making it a bit more spacious, with more outside seating, would help a bit. I fell ill for 24 hours on day 3. I believe it was a stomach bug and had only eaten and drank at the hotel, so make of that what you will. But generally the food seemed fresh and the place was very clean. I’m saying this to explain why I’ve gone 3/5 and not 4/5, Paper cups aren’t great but I understand why you have them by the pools. Local drinks are not good at all. Wine and cocktail liqueurs were cheap and not that nice. Beer was decent tho. Sunbeds are tightly packed in and are reserved quickly. Arrival and reception in general was a bit chaotic. Lots of staff but not a lot of doing. Also we’d specifically contacted the hotel beforehand requesting adjoining rooms with friends (who paid for some type of room). We were put well apart, and on day 6 my friends were told they could have moved next to us on day 2, had they gone to reception. As opposed to reception calling them or leaving a note in their room. Being unable to get adjoining room (despite asking beforehand) I understand - logistics or admin error - but then saying we actually COULD have been together and not telling us?! Very odd. I left with many more positive feelings than negatives, it just takes longer to explain a negative comment! And overall, despite being nice, this isn’t 5 star luxury. It’s a really nice hotel and great for families (I wouldn’t go back if I didn’t have a child). So just set your expectations right. But I did have a child and we had a really nice time. If I hadn’t gotten ill I’d be giving this 4/5, which is pretty good, and the place met our needs just right.

We came to stay here with our family and friends and toddlers, this hotel has a beautiful setting, and definitely a luxury for all of us. The fb manager Sergio has attended to my wife’s dietary needs as well as other things we requested and is very professional as well as approachable and friendly. The kids club has been brilliant, above uk standard in my eyes, very caring staff who go above and beyond. The hotel is very clean and act on your requests immediately. Thank you all staff for your care here. we look forward to coming again.

We returned from our 7 day break @ this hotel in need of another holiday, after having suffered 3 nights of sleep deprivation (a recognised means of torture). Having travelled with TUI at the end of April and requested, at additional cost, a sea view, it transpired our balcony was located a few metres away from the bar terrace where groups were encouraged to congregate until the early hours, becoming louder and louder. We did make our point at Reception and were ensured that the matter was being dealt with, however the situation continued for at least three nights. Regrettably all other positive experiences of the week were negated. Good luck to any others who end up in the same location.

We had an amazing time, all staff friendly and helpful. Food was really good, the beach was a 2 minute walk which also has a mini bar which is part of the all inclusive. I had a massage from Fanis while I was here and it’s the best I’ve had. Thank you again :)

I’ve had the best time here, all staff really friendly and helpful. Everything from start to finish has been amazing. I also visited the spa here and had the most relaxing massage from Olivia, it’s definitely one of the best I’ve had. Thank you again for the best stay :)

I want to start this review off with the hotel is lovely Rooms really nice and clean ( they get cleaned everyday and fresh towels) And the staff are great. Special mention to Kelly Ann from the entertainment team she is worth her weight in gold honestly she makes this hotel!! She put her all into this hotel and without her the hotel would be nothing!! She’s amazing with the kids and always there if you need help or advice. She really cares and you can really see she loves her job and staff!! 🤍 Evelyn in the after dark bar. Always had our drinks ready for us with her beautiful smile 😊 Vicky, Carol & Debbie from the baby club (under 3s) - please send your kids Have 2 hours to yourself don’t worry they are in very safe hands and honestly there amazing with the babies. They clean every single toy after every session The place is spotless People say the food is the best they have ever had and I would disagree with that. The food that is available is average and I don’t think there is much choice and definitely not a 5 star Most of the food is repeated too and some abit bland. (The Atlantica in Greece food choice was amazing and the size of the restaurant was x3 ) The fruit section is very poor in this hotel banana orange apple and odd pear. We are a very fruit family and Iv never been to a all inclusive that doesn’t have a wide selection of fruit We had to go buy from the shop down the street (€9 for half a water melon) Never been to a hotel that doesn’t have grapes melon mongo strawberries kiwi We picked to go to the pizza pasta and burger place for our 2 meals The pizza pasta was amazing Myself and husband don’t eat mushroom and a lot of stuff has them and we said and they made them without. I had cream chicken pasta and my husband had a calzone both amazing Burger- again the burgers was incredible.. best meals in the hotel and definitely 5* They was very helpful and they gave us choices. I had seen a bun come out that was black and the lady said this will be yours so as she was taking our order I asked to change the bun and they was very happy to do so. Pools- yes the are cold but what can you expect when you come out of season. Bring babies a wet suit and u will be fine they are starting to get warmer One think that really bugs me about the hotel is the kids entertainment you can’t get an alcohol drink up there. I don’t come on holiday to get drunk but I expect to be able to have a drink whilst my daughter is dancing at the kids disco. I don’t drink through the day. The kids disco is up at the kids club which is fine but there is no alcohol up there. Just juices for the kids. I think the kids disco needs moving down to the main room or at least be able to get a drink up there for us adults. But also go told there should be a bar up there but cause it’s only beginning of the season it’s not open. We went to the zoo which is amazing but make sure you take cash cause all the extra is cash only. We did the elephant

What an amazing holiday we’ve had!! 5* standard from start to finish.. A beautiful modern well kept hotel that overlooks the beautiful ocean 😍 we opted for a sea view and watched sunsets every night! The staff are so attentive and can’t do more for you. Special shout out to Karina and Ausma at guest relations. They’re so friendly and sent a bottle of champers to my room for my birthday ♥️ thank you Atlantica we will be back xxx

Party of 35 people stayed at this hotel for my daughter’s wedding. We were looked after by all members of staff especially Sergio, the food and beverage manger who helped us a lot. David in bar was very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to coming back again.

Relaxed environment and friendly staff, particularly Sergio who took it upon himself to make all of us (wedding party of 35) feel welcomed, sorting out all our queries/bookings etc. we are already planning to go back for another reunion next year.
