"The location is quite good, only a few hundred meters from Milan Cathedral. My only complaint is about the beds in the room not matching the description.
Since we were only staying one night in Milan and it coincided with the Olympics, hotel prices in Milan were incredibly high. Because we were all family and didn't mind too much, we reluctantly settled for a quad room near Milan Cathedral for one night. The room seemed to be a converted hotel apartment with one bedroom, two living areas, and one bathroom. It only had one large bed and one sofa bed. The room itself was quite spacious. The sofa bed in the living room became another bed when pulled out, but it was extremely uncomfortable, with a sag in the middle and raised ends. My husband and son, both over 1.8 meters tall, had a very awkward sleep. My sister and I found the double bed reasonably comfortable. For a 4-person room costing 4000 yuan a night, I personally felt the quality of the beds was not the most reasonable. Luckily, it was only for one day. What's more, when checking out, the city tax which was quoted as 25.5 yuan during booking had been raised to 38 yuan by the front desk. I argued with them, and the hotel staff said the price had increased since February. I decided not to waste any more time, so I contacted Ctrip after returning home. In the end, Ctrip refunded the difference."
