"The room was clean. We didn't spend much time in it, but we were pleasantly surprised that there was a radiator that actually heated the room, which is quite rare nowadays 😁. It was very warm. The bathroom and toilet were clean; the women's bathroom was very spacious 😁😁😁. The manager was very friendly, and we were surprised that he spoke Ukrainian, although we mainly communicated in Spanish. The tourist tax for two people was €19 per day. Great location: 2 minutes from the subway and 10 minutes from the train station and bus stop. Recommended."

"The hostel is located 8 minutes walk from Milano Bovisa Politecnico train station. Direct train to and from Malpensa Airport T2 just takes 30 minutes. As far as getting around the city of Milano, there is a Tram-Bus stop (Bausan) just under 5 minutes walk from hostel (after the round about). The 4 bedded sharing room comes with en-suite bathroom with timed hot showers. Bath towel available for rent at 2€. Hostel-wide WiFi access available. The in-house bar-bistro offers good selection of Italian and international fairs. For weary travellers the in-house dinning option is most appreciated. During the day, the common area has a more co-working vibe. As the sun sets, the ambiance transitions to a buzzing vibrant bar-bistro."

"Worth staying at this hostel for the price. This was my first solo backpacking trip, and the hostel was amazing. The receptionists were especially friendly. I arrived a bit early before check-in time, but the receptionist kindly let me check in, even though it was his lunch break. He explained all the amenities and showed the must-visit places in Milan on a map. He also offered to store my luggage, and when I felt a bit worried, he kept it safely under his desk. I would definitely recommend this hostel."

"The apartments are great! Honestly, when traveling around Europe, it is best to choose apartments with a kitchen:) this is the ideal option! The location is 2 minutes from the metro and a minute from the train station, you can get to the airport in 40 minutes 👍🏼 two supermarkets nearby, lots of ready-made food, check-in at any time, they just send you a code. Cool, comfortable, the balcony was a joy"

"We went to Milan on our own and it was in Milan that our vacation in these apartments was ruined. Read carefully - they take a deposit of 100 euros. But it is not written anywhere that only by card. They did not want to take cash. There is no one at night and after 8 pm. They barely took the deposit in cash, here is a new problem - we have to leave at night to the airport, no one will return the deposit at night, because the reception opens only at three. Well, we left all the nerves and decided that God be with them, we will leave them these 100 euros. Then, as a result, through friends, we took our cash, but the nerves and 5 hours of check-in ruined the whole impression. And the most unpleasant thing was when, during all the clarifications, the girl from the reception began to call the director. My husband had the audio translator turned on. The director said ”let's not deal with these Russians”, ”you definitely don't need help, are you sure these aren't Russian spies”)) Holy ****.. then we walked around and thought that this is really how they treat Russians, it's very offensive. Of course, he refused our requests - we've already offered a million ways out of the situation. In general, be sure to have a card, otherwise you won't be checked in. The location is very convenient, we took it because buses to the airport go straight from there. Is 10 thousand per night normal or not? Probably yes, if there are no other alternatives. The girl at the reception is unpleasant)) she smiles, but you can see how everyone annoys her)))"

"Dissatisfactory points: 1. The shower water is cold at night, and there is nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom. They can only be scattered on the floor. It is very inconvenient. 2. The first floor is a bar, not a place for hostel guests to eat buffet food. The self-service kitchen is on the top floor with few equipments, which is very inconvenient."

"The location is quite good, only a few hundred meters from Milan Cathedral. My only complaint is about the beds in the room not matching the description. Since we were only staying one night in Milan and it coincided with the Olympics, hotel prices in Milan were incredibly high. Because we were all family and didn't mind too much, we reluctantly settled for a quad room near Milan Cathedral for one night. The room seemed to be a converted hotel apartment with one bedroom, two living areas, and one bathroom. It only had one large bed and one sofa bed. The room itself was quite spacious. The sofa bed in the living room became another bed when pulled out, but it was extremely uncomfortable, with a sag in the middle and raised ends. My husband and son, both over 1.8 meters tall, had a very awkward sleep. My sister and I found the double bed reasonably comfortable. For a 4-person room costing 4000 yuan a night, I personally felt the quality of the beds was not the most reasonable. Luckily, it was only for one day. What's more, when checking out, the city tax which was quoted as 25.5 yuan during booking had been raised to 38 yuan by the front desk. I argued with them, and the hotel staff said the price had increased since February. I decided not to waste any more time, so I contacted Ctrip after returning home. In the end, Ctrip refunded the difference."

"Ostello Bello Grande is a clean and comfortable youth hostel. The capsule beds are exceptionally clean, spacious enough, and provide a secure night's sleep. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. The location is generally good, about 3 kilometers from Milan Central Station, requiring a short bus ride, which makes getting around quite convenient. It offers good value for money, and I highly recommend it for solo travelers!"
