Hotel near Milan Stazione Centrale,Milan
Scarlatti Hotel Milano is just 150 metres from Milano Centrale Train Station, offering metro and train links throughout Milan. The air-conditioned rooms offer a balcony, a minibar and free WiFi. Breakfast at the Cristallo is a varied buffet. The bar is elegant and serves drinks and snacks. The staff are friendly and multi-lingual, and there are free internet terminals in the lobby. Using public transport you can easily reach the Cathedral, the Sforzesco Castle, and Santa Maria delle Grazie Church with Leonardo da Vinci's frescoes.

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the train station, which is its biggest advantage. There's also a supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient. The downsides are that the bathroom light is motion-activated, so it would suddenly turn off while showering. The 2-in-1 shower gel and shampoo came in a tiny bottle. The food and drinks in the mini-fridge cost extra, and the air conditioning wasn't very responsive. For both days I stayed, it wouldn't turn on automatically, and I had to go to the front desk to get it working. On the first day, it was too cold, and on the second, the airflow was very weak. The soundproofing was decent, but I could still hear noise from the hallway. Overall, though, I was satisfied. The room was quite spacious, and the bed was a double."

"The hotel room looked very new and clean, and the front desk staff were friendly. Although the breakfast area was small, the food was good. The location is convenient, right across from the train station. The only downside was the lack of complimentary bottled water, and the tap water quality was concerning; I wouldn't even dare to drink it after boiling. Luckily, I had some mineral water left from the plane, otherwise I would have had to buy the hotel's overpriced water."

"My first time in Milano and staying at this accommodation for the first time as well (it functions as student accommodation during the semester). Was here for my birthday and I was unfortunately unwell when I arrived. I think all the travelling had finally got to me by this point in my trip! I was really grateful that I was able to check in early as I had been travelling non-stop since 8pm the night before from Lyon. I think overall a good first impression (staff were nice) and my only gripe was the lack of air conditioning in my loft room. The corridor was 20 degrees cooler than in my room and I was even tempted to sleep in the hallway - this is how hot it was in my room (I didn't despite my desperation). I did call in to reception on my first day and maintenance personnel did come up to take a look but it didn't change anything as the room was not cooling at all during my three night stay (even with the window closed). I was here in the first week of Aug so unbearable in the height of summer and based on this part of my experience I wouldn't stay here again. The actual room and bathroom is great (no kitchen equipment e.g. utensils but no biggie if you're not planning on self-catering). Other than this, the location is great as it is only a 10 minute walk to Fondazione Prada (a must-see) and there a lot of eateries and restaurants in walking distance. Supermarkets are also very close by. I didn't navigate the public transport to get here from Milano Centrale (I used a taxi to get here and then a taxi app to get back to the station) but I'm sure it is possible to get here using public transport which is much cheaper."

I’m not sure if all hotels in Italy are like this, but this hotel genuinely left us with an amazing impression. The service was exceptional, and the breakfast selection was excellent. We are two wedding photographers travelling to Italy for work. For the first two nights, we stayed at a hotel arranged by our clients outside of Milan, but once we returned to Milan, we specifically chose this hotel for our final night before flying back to the UK. Even though we only stayed for one night, the experience was fantastic. First of all, the location was very convenient. It was easy to get here from the airport by metro, which was especially helpful after a busy wedding trip carrying a lot of equipment. What impressed us the most was the service. We arrived quite early, before check-in time, so we left our luggage at reception and went out for the day. When we came back around 5pm, all of our luggage had already been delivered to our room. This is actually something we rarely experience in most hotels in the UK, so we really appreciated the attention to detail and hospitality. Btw, they even offer welcome drinks 🥰 The breakfast was also wonderful, with both hot food options and a great continental selection. Everything tasted lovely. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again next time we visit Milan.

This is my second time staying at the Castle Hotel. It is located near Milan Cathedral and is quiet in the bustle. The breakfast is affordable and the room is clean and hygienic. During this period, Ctrip customer service perfectly solved the problem. Thumbs up to Ctrip customer service.

Our stay at the Lancaster Hotel in Milan was absolutely wonderful, thanks to the exceptional service and thoughtful gestures from the staff. We had a special request for an early check-in and a late check-out due to our travel schedule, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. This kind of flexibility and understanding made our trip so much more comfortable, and we truly appreciated their kindness. The staff at the front desk was a gem! The breakfast at the hotel was another highlight of our stay. It was far beyond the standard continental breakfast—there was a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to choose from, catering to all our morning needs. The cappuccino was particularly delightful, and the staff serving breakfast were always smiling, polite, and attentive. It’s rare to encounter such genuine hospitality these days, and it made our mornings even more enjoyable. Overall, the Lancaster Hotel exceeded our expectations. The combination of comfortable accommodations, excellent service, and thoughtful touches made our stay memorable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Milan and look forward to staying here again in the future!

The Armani Hotel is located in the heart of the bustling city center, with its main entrance facing the street and the cathedral not far away. The elevator on the left after entering goes directly to the 7th-floor lobby. The reception is to the left after exiting the elevator. The hotel rooms are luxuriously designed, featuring the hotel's classic gray and black color scheme. The rooms are very spacious, a truly impressive suite. There's a hidden walk-in closet, various beautiful mirrors, and a perfectly functional iPad to control everything in the room. The internet is incredibly fast—faster than lightning! The bathroom is absolutely elegant and spacious, equipped with underfloor heating. The bed and pillows are also perfect, undoubtedly top-of-the-line in Italy. Cleaning is prompt and meticulous. Only minor complaints are the hot water temperature – adjusting it is like using a micrometer, otherwise it's either scalding hot or cold. Also, the doors are somewhat rough during construction and often don't close properly. However, these minor issues don't detract from its overall quality; it's absolutely a top-tier hotel.

Location was great. Just across Milan Central Train Station and it was easy to navigate. 4 metro stops to the Duomo. Room was ok, big enough for 2 person but I’m travelling solo so it’s’more than enough. Room view was the offices next to our building. The only downside was the AC was not adjustable. It was kept between 24-25 degrees the whole time which was stuffy at times.

The room itself was clean and quite minimalistic. Housekeeping deserves credit: the room was cleaned every day, towels were changed regularly, and the bathroom was kept tidy. In terms of cleanliness, there were no complaints at all. However, the bathroom layout is a serious downside. The shower is extremely narrow, and because it only has a shower curtain instead of a rigid door, it is very uncomfortable to use. The curtain constantly sticks to your wet body, which makes showering frustrating rather than relaxing. On top of that, the water pressure is below average, so it takes longer to rinse off and doesn’t feel very refreshing. Another major issue was the temperature in the room. Even with the heating turned on, it was very cold, especially in the evenings and at night. This significantly affected comfort and made the stay less pleasant, particularly during colder weather. The room itself is quite small and basic, but acceptable for a short stay if you don’t plan to spend much time inside. The furnishings are simple, and everything feels a bit outdated, though functional. In summary, this hotel might be suitable for a short budget stay in Milan if cleanliness is your main priority. However, the very narrow shower with an inconvenient curtain, low water pressure, and poor heating make it hard to fully recommend. Also not every stuff speaks English well

This hotel has a great location; it's convenient for getting anywhere. The subway station is just a 5-minute walk away, and it's also very close to the central train station, making airport access quite smooth. The basic facilities are decent, with everything you need, although the rooms aren't very spacious and the amenities are a bit dated. Overall, it's pretty good and offers great value for money, especially considering the price. There's a nice Turkish restaurant right outside the entrance.
