With a stay at HD8 Hotel Milano, you'll be centrally located in Milan, within a 5-minute drive of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and Piazza del Duomo. Conveniences include phones, as well as safes and desks.

"My first impression of this hotel was that it's small and compact, but incredibly convenient. The room design maximizes every inch of space, to the point where it's hard to fully open even a carry-on suitcase. Once a suitcase is laid out, there's barely any room left to walk. The bathroom is quite interesting; it feels like a space carved out of the wall. Although small, it's well-maintained and clean, and perfectly functional. The hotel has a modern, youthful design aesthetic. The lobby, in particular, feels more like a stylish corridor than a traditional hotel's spacious public area. However, the staff are all very enthusiastic and lively, making the check-in and check-out process a pleasant experience. Its biggest asset is definitely the location. The hotel is directly across from Milan Central Station, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores. Whether you're catching a train, grabbing a meal, or buying daily necessities, it's incredibly convenient. I think this hotel is perfect for a solo business traveler or for a one or two-night stopover; the location and convenience are almost faultless. If two people are staying with two large suitcases, the room would feel quite cramped, and comfort might be compromised. Overall, it's not a hotel where you'll enjoy a lot of space, but rather one that maximizes 'convenience' to the extreme. If your priority is easy transport and efficient stays, it's a very solid choice."

"The hotel room looked very new and clean, and the front desk staff were friendly. Although the breakfast area was small, the food was good. The location is convenient, right across from the train station. The only downside was the lack of complimentary bottled water, and the tap water quality was concerning; I wouldn't even dare to drink it after boiling. Luckily, I had some mineral water left from the plane, otherwise I would have had to buy the hotel's overpriced water."

"The apartment is great. Everything is brand new, the house is nice. The neighborhood can look a litlle getto (as we were in august, many places are closed and covered in graffiti). The check in is very easy, you don’t have to find the key in the middle of nowhere. The service is little off cause we had a sink problem, left the application but nothing was ever done to it. Overall I would be glad to come bac I would be glad to come back!"

This is a fantastic hotel in an excellent location. It's about a 20-minute walk to the main shopping area, and there are many great restaurants and small shops nearby. The neighborhood feels very residential and safe, with no concerns about security. I really have to commend the hotel's front desk staff. I was out shopping all day near the Duomo, carrying three bags, and took an Uber back to the hotel. When I got out, I somehow left one bag behind – it had my newly purchased jewelry and a handbag inside, worth over 50,000 RMB! I only realized it after I got back to my room. I immediately rushed down to the front desk. The staff quickly checked the CCTV footage for me, confirming that I had indeed left a bag in the Uber, and it wasn't something I left at the hotel. At the same time, because Uber doesn't have a direct contact feature for drivers, and I hadn't gotten any response after reporting it to Uber's platform, the front desk attendant proactively helped me look through the limited information available on the Uber app. Eventually, he found the phone number for the Uber driver's registered company and immediately called them on my behalf. After several verifications, they finally got in touch with the driver, who confirmed he had my missing shopping bag and would return it within an hour. I'm incredibly grateful for the prompt and proactive help from the hotel front desk throughout this whole ordeal; I can't imagine what would have happened otherwise.

Our stay at the Lancaster Hotel in Milan was absolutely wonderful, thanks to the exceptional service and thoughtful gestures from the staff. We had a special request for an early check-in and a late check-out due to our travel schedule, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. This kind of flexibility and understanding made our trip so much more comfortable, and we truly appreciated their kindness. The staff at the front desk was a gem! The breakfast at the hotel was another highlight of our stay. It was far beyond the standard continental breakfast—there was a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to choose from, catering to all our morning needs. The cappuccino was particularly delightful, and the staff serving breakfast were always smiling, polite, and attentive. It’s rare to encounter such genuine hospitality these days, and it made our mornings even more enjoyable. Overall, the Lancaster Hotel exceeded our expectations. The combination of comfortable accommodations, excellent service, and thoughtful touches made our stay memorable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Milan and look forward to staying here again in the future!

The hotel has an industrial-chic design, and the room facilities are very new. It comes with a fridge, and the mini-bar is stocked with several drinks and beers that are replenished daily – a big plus! The hygiene is excellent, and its proximity to Milan train station is quite convenient. Overall, it's a great stay.

This hotel was a lifesaver! It was 38 degrees in Milan and the Airbnb we rented didn't have air conditioning, so we had to book a hotel. The room was incredibly spacious and the facilities were new. The air conditioning worked perfectly, though I don't think there was a kettle. The staff at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful. It's only a 5-minute walk from the train station and very close to the airport shuttle bus stop. Plus, there's a supermarket and McDonald's downstairs. Excellent value for money!

Location was great. Just across Milan Central Train Station and it was easy to navigate. 4 metro stops to the Duomo. Room was ok, big enough for 2 person but I’m travelling solo so it’s’more than enough. Room view was the offices next to our building. The only downside was the AC was not adjustable. It was kept between 24-25 degrees the whole time which was stuffy at times.

After checking in, when I went out, I couldn't lock my room door no matter how many times I tried to turn the key, although opening it was no problem. This was quite frustrating. I spoke to the front desk lady, and she tried to lock it for me, but even she had trouble, failing multiple times. I asked to change rooms, but was told it wouldn't be possible until after 12 PM the next day. The next morning, it took me about 10 minutes to finally lock the door before heading out. When I handed in my key at the front desk, they offered to change my room, but since my train was approaching and I was checking out the next day anyway, I decided against it. The front desk service wasn't bad, but the fact that the lock was unreliable caused a lot of wasted time, and not being able to lock the door from the inside was a real issue. (Front Desk)

The room itself was clean and quite minimalistic. Housekeeping deserves credit: the room was cleaned every day, towels were changed regularly, and the bathroom was kept tidy. In terms of cleanliness, there were no complaints at all. However, the bathroom layout is a serious downside. The shower is extremely narrow, and because it only has a shower curtain instead of a rigid door, it is very uncomfortable to use. The curtain constantly sticks to your wet body, which makes showering frustrating rather than relaxing. On top of that, the water pressure is below average, so it takes longer to rinse off and doesn’t feel very refreshing. Another major issue was the temperature in the room. Even with the heating turned on, it was very cold, especially in the evenings and at night. This significantly affected comfort and made the stay less pleasant, particularly during colder weather. The room itself is quite small and basic, but acceptable for a short stay if you don’t plan to spend much time inside. The furnishings are simple, and everything feels a bit outdated, though functional. In summary, this hotel might be suitable for a short budget stay in Milan if cleanliness is your main priority. However, the very narrow shower with an inconvenient curtain, low water pressure, and poor heating make it hard to fully recommend. Also not every stuff speaks English well
