"Very good resort, awesome location in Lamai. Walking distance to everything you need. Beach is a 3 minute walk and is excellent. Booked a pool view room for 6 nights and absolutely loved it. All the staff are so friendly and lovely. Breakfast is ok, probably better to get somewhere else but still good tobhave the option. Would highly recommend"

"The hotel is conveniently located, close to the sea, and a street with restaurants and bars is a five-minute walk away. The room is very spacious, with a huge balcony and an Android TV. However, it could use a cosmetic renovation and a full cleaning; the room is great, but already tired. The staff is polite and friendly."

"We stayed in a room on the second floor with a balcony. Overall, we liked everything, the only downside was the damp smell from the fabric headboard of the bed and the bedding. Breakfasts were varied, with fruits, vegetables, meat, yogurts, etc. The pool was clean and the sun loungers were comfortable. There's an elevator. Check-in was strictly after 3 PM. They took a 1000 baht deposit, which was returned upon check-out. It's a 7-minute walk to the sea. All necessary shops and cafes are nearby. The night market is a bit far, but walkable. However, buying fruit turned out to be a problem, as there are no fruit stalls. Overall, we had a positive impression of our stay."

"Pros: - Very well-designed room (storage and furniture layout) - Washing machine (though I didn't find a dryer, as many mentioned) - Excellent cleaning service (we always left a small tip for the ladies) - Bar staff and breakfast service staff - Well-maintained grounds - Pool with always available towels (always crowded, but people rotate, so you can generally find a spot to sunbathe) - Kettle, air conditioner, basic set of dishes - Large box of bathroom amenities, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner - Macro Market right opposite (very cheap groceries) - Be aware of the 3000 baht deposit Cons: - No cooking allowed on the stove (this was not mentioned anywhere) - 5000 baht fine - No flushing toilet paper - 500 baht fine (You are warned about these fines upon check-in and given a memo) - Overpriced room - Breakfasts (you can fill up), but the selection is very modest and always the same. - The hotel is located by the main road, which is difficult to cross. - We had a super unpleasant situation that ruined our departure (we had pre-booked a transfer when we arrived, and we repeated our departure day and the transfer time suggested by the reception staff several times). We were checking out earlier than the paid-for day. - Garden view (essentially, you don't have a balcony, it's just a small square. We were on the 1st floor in a side room that people constantly walked past, and there was nowhere to dry clothes). I don't recommend taking a first-floor room. We stayed in building 2 (no noise). There's construction nearby, next to building 5, where the reception is. Also, there are water restrictions and outages starting on the island (check with the hotel about these issues). Conclusion: When we checked out, they simply forgot about us. There was no transfer, and we had to hastily order a BOLT taxi ourselves (super service here), and the taxi arrived very quickly. The hotel staff just shrugged their shoulders and were also unprepared for our departure. If you plan to book a transfer, remind the staff about it (but honestly, if they forget things so easily, there's a risk you might be without it even with a reminder)."

"Overall, it was okay, but I felt the price was a bit high. The soundproofing was really good, with a double balcony. Our windows faced the road, but we slept perfectly well – only the air conditioning made noise! The beach is nice, the sand is a bit coarse in places, not like flour, but quite comfortable, almost like a massage. You don't have to walk far for good depth either. There were no problems with sun loungers, but we usually arrived early; by lunchtime, there were none available (but I guess that's common everywhere). Housekeeping was daily, no complaints there. Breakfast: buffet style, modest, but you definitely won't go hungry. Three types of eggs, rice/potatoes/noodles, pancakes/fritters, always soup, cheese, one type of sausage, one type of hotdog, salad, vegetables, bread, croissants, jams, three types of fruit: watermelon, pineapple, and something else that varied, various cereals with milk, tea, coffee, juices (from a carton). The coffee and tea are brewed in teapots, not from a machine. We only stayed a few days, so it wasn't a big issue. The bath leaks a little, but there's even a drain for it, as if they specifically anticipated and solved this problem with a drain. It just feels like you expect a bit more for the price. The staff are good. The massage parlor across the street is recommended."

"Comfortable, clean, and pleasantly surprised. This is my third time in Koh Samui, and I have stayed in several of the most popular hotels. This time I want to change to some new hotels. This time I booked a seaside homestay for the first three nights, and stayed here for the last night. Because there are three children in the family, we need two rooms, and this two-bedroom and one-living room is just right. The whole design of the room is very comfortable, the details are especially clean, and the living room and dining table facing the beautiful scenery are really pleasing to the eye. The key is that the price-performance ratio is super high at more than 2,000 a night👍👍👍"

"I also decided to extend my stay for one more night at Samui Honey Tara Villa Residence after my son flew back to Bangkok. It was once again a very relaxing stay, and I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. I had more time to spend with Buddy, which made my stay even more special and memorable."

"Location: Perched on a steep hill, riding a scooter here requires some skill. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have a license. There's absolutely nothing around, just a couple of **** shops across the street. The massage places along the way aren't great either; they don't even offer foot washing, unlike the more professional chain stores on the main commercial street, though prices are the same. Annoyingly, they wouldn't let us ride our own scooter into the middle of the property to get our luggage. You can call them to get a shuttle from the lobby to your room or vice versa, otherwise, it's a really long walk to the sea view rooms. Pool: The pool is quite shallow, maybe 1.2m at its deepest, I can't quite recall. It's only good for splashing around. The sea here doesn't have big waves, so you can just float and relax. Room: The shower seemed to be faulty, alternating between hot and cold – I nearly caught a cold. The AC, however, is incredibly powerful; great for those who get hot easily, it can get really chilly. The TV is good, with Netflix directly accessible without a subscription. Hygiene: The breakfast wasn't clean. I got diarrhea before even finishing it. There were worms in the cucumber, several white ones. I initially thought they were plant fibers, but then they started wiggling (see P9). I immediately had to run to the toilet. My friend, who didn't eat the cucumber, also got sick, for unknown reasons. I continued to have diarrhea for a few days after returning home. It might not be related to the hotel, but this hotel was my last stop in Thailand. Service: They offered a welcome drink, but it didn't taste good. There's a very small gym by the entrance. The staff generally had a good attitude. Summary: It's a relatively quiet place, suitable for just relaxing. Getting to the commercial street isn't easy; it takes 20 minutes by scooter, mainly due to the very steep ups and downs. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you want to go to bars or clubs. Walking to shops is too far, and there's a constant smell of **** that made me feel nauseous."
