Awful place. I have lived in Klaipeda all my life and I have never imagined that this ”hotel” in the heart of my city can be such a disgrace. I feel sorry for the tourists visiting Klaipeda for such a bad representation. The only good thing this hotel can offer is a nice view through the window - that's it! Our room was not properly ventilated - the AC was only blowing hot air while the window was broken and wouldn't open. The room was boiling! When we raised this with one of the staff members - we were told nothing can be done about this, the hotel is all booked-out, but a manager will address this issue on our check-out. Manager just stared at us at the checkout and said the same thing - nothing can be done about this. ”Good luck next time” - I guess that's the hotel's slogan. We asked the towels to be changed in the morning - not done. Only after ringing the reception for the second time they brought new set of towels. Carpets - stained. Bathroom - outdated. Breakfast - very dull. Most of the hot dishes were barely warm. No proper coffee served at the breakfast. We went to the hotel's bar to order some normal coffee and were overcharged - we paid 7 Eur one day and then 10 Eur the next day for the same coffees. The bartender who overcharged us just kept repeating like a broken record after we complained - ”this is what it costs”. Again, during check-out manager declared it is impossible we had a problem with such a good bartender. She also offered us to go and talk to the same bartender just to clarify the price AGAIN. After we were not happy with this, she promised another hotel-person will contact us to discuss this matter after we leave - it has been a week I have not heard from anyone. And I never will. Just to add a cherry on top - the hotel has only one elevator which takes you to a multi-storied carpark. We had two big suitcases (plus full hands of other stuff) and our car was on the 4th floor. Th elevator was not working. We asked the receptionist about this - he then pressed the elevator button three-to-four times, stared at his phone, said the elevator is probably not working and then just walked off. In Amberton you're not treated as a guest, you're treated as another daily nuisance.

What we liked: Very spacious and clean room. Good food. Pool and spa area, very warm water in the pools. Close to the sea (approx. 600 m walk through a pine tree forest). Bathrobes in the room; pools are conveniently in the same building so there is no need to undress and dress up fully before going to the pool and after it. Nice staff. What we didn't like: Our room was on the second floor, directly over the pool area, so we heard constant humming (pool pumps or some other pool equipment) whenever we were in the room during the daytime (pool is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the evenings, so we could hear the noise in our room all the time, except for the night). The floors of the pools are very strange - they have different levels which are not gradual - you could be standing in the 1.4 m depth area on one foot and would not touch the floor with another foot as it is 1.7 or 1.8 m deep. Very bright lights of the AC unit and power control unit in the room - we had to cover them with whatever at night so that they would not hinder us to sleep: the blue light of the power unit, in particular, shone so brightly that it seemed that the door was not shut tight and the light was coming in from the corridor. Ctrip's fast 900 does not include an early loft room. In fact, the price has been reduced a lot before moving in. This low price guarantee is really bad. In addition, as a boutique hotel ranked No. 1 on TripAdvisor, the service is really speechless. Arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock, no one at the front desk, after a while, people said that the room was not good, understandable, went out for lunch, temporary heavy rain, did not bring an umbrella, back to the hotel wet in the rain, it was already two in the afternoon Point, the front desk of the hotel didn't even check the computer to see the status of the room, and directly said that there is no room, or you can go to the restaurant at the back for a drink. A great room with one bedroom and a living room equipped kitchen with all the necessary equipment. Clean. The best location is 50 metals from the central pedestrian street. There is a rental bicycles and scooters. From the downsides - a paid parking and a very small pool for a hotel of this size. Visit the pool is better for money than in free time (09-13:00), when people are more than water in the pool . Breakfast for three , but maybe it is due to COVID restrictions. Therefore, the overall estimate is 4+ . Recommended for rest with family.

I landed at the local airport and realized my organization has booked a hotel 187 miles from my location. Without much fuss, I was able to find this hotel, which I picked off of ratings online, and get into a room pretty quickly. This is a wonderful (beautiful, clean) hotel set in a lovely beach community. This is a tourist area which the local citizens treat with pride and respect. There is a canal running parallel to the walkway that goes straight to the beach. The staff members, to a person, were incredibly helpful and thankfully multilingual. I arrived while the weather was less than ideal and I would love to see this in the summer time. Both the hotel and the surround area appear to be quite kid-friendly as well.
