Great experience. You’re very remote in this part of New Caledonia don’t expect 5 star service - especially at this price. Considering the limits of the location the hotel mostly delivers. The rooms with private pools are a highlight. When we stayed it rained heavily for 2 days straight. The bungalow stood up well and they are in great shape for their age. The pool area was being renovated when we were here but it should look great in future. The only real letdown is the restaurant. The buffet is great IF you like buffets, otherwise there aren’t any other options at the hotel or nearby. At 4500 XPF each it is an expensive experience. For the location the buffet is varied and well presented. Wine here is decently priced and starts around 3000 XPF per bottle. Beer is expensive at 800 XPF for a small glass. Overall - this place is recommended but don’t expect to be blown away by the service and culinary experience in this part of the world. Come for the remoteness and beauty. The rooms are a definite highlight. Get the ones with the private pool if you can.

The grounds are huge, the hotel is splendid. Despite the restrictions due to the sanitary situation, the staff are pleasant. The suite is beautiful, fully equipped up to the view. Dream stay with Sheraton Deva :)
