Location is outskirts,other than that,rest is very good. Not many restaurants nearby.

Check-in: The staff at check-in pointed to the free public service. The possibility of booking breakfast and the free use of the garage and parking were also discussed. It was only a bad thing that, although we were waiting alone at the check-in, we were reading a lot of time to document on the computer before we were cared about it. Location: The hotel is just a little away from the city centre about 15 minutes. The nearby fast road is well heard at open window. The next bus stop is about 5 minutes walk away. Rooms: The rooms are clean and conveniently furnished. Unfortunately, something bright so people were right to hear on the walking. Service: It was not checked at breakfast whether we were guests who booked this option or not. The lady, which was responsible for the preparation of the food, was also cleaning power for the buffet area. In general, we were friendly. Eating: The buffet was viewable and offered a small selection of the most common breakfast options. Concluded: Sufficient for a short trip to Constanz.

The hotel is in a good location, 10 minutes walk from Lake Constance, so it is ten minutes from the train station. Breakfast is general, I feel that the German hotel breakfast is average, you can go to the nearby bakery to eat. The surrounding environment is good, the tens of meters behind the hotel is the police station, the security is very good. The room is soundproof and very quiet.

This hotel has been is renovated and feels like a boutique hotel in a big city. Great modern design, decor and well-appointed rooms. At 3 stars, it exceeded expectations and was better than hotels with a 4-star rating. The hotel is situated within a Catholic monastery and is owned by nuns as a way to generate income. The hotel is run by secular management and includes conference facilities. My room was spacious, comfortable and had a private balcony. The TV was huge and modern, although no English channels were available. The bed had USB outlets at the nightstand, which was a life savor since I lost my electrical outlet power adaptor. Breakfast was phenomenal. A very extensive buffet with something for everyone’s food preferences. Dinner was also a buffet. The food quality at dinner wasn’t as good as breakfast, in my opinion. But the wine selection was sufficient and the prices cheap. If I had one suggestion it would be to have a properly translated welcome letter in English and French. I recognize 90% of guests are probably German-speaking but it would be helpful if all of the information was available because not every staff member can speak English. The only real complaints I have are the horrendous parking situation and the lack of a gym. In terms of the gym, the hotel is hosting business conferences. It would be nice if there was a small gym with treadmills and other basic fitness equipment. Thankfully, there is a temporary parking section at the entrance to the hotel. Otherwise, it is a little bit of a walk with luggage. The parking is an issue for anyone with bags or during bad weather. Besides those two complaints, anything else is a problem with the 3-star and 4-star hotels in Germany and not this hotel. It’s a problem I’ve only encountered in Germany: No coffeemaker or tea pot in room. You can’t get coffee until breakfast at 7 a.m. Only 1 or 2 pillows, compared to the 4 pillows that most hotels outside Germany feature. No lotion or other toiletries in bathroom of room. Bar soap replaced with liquid soap, which is cheaper but not as sanitary because dispensers can spread diseases. If I was in the Constance area, I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. I liked the religious connection and thought it was great in terms of value for money. With a few changes, it would be a superb 4-star hotel. Right now, they have a 4-star product, but more of a guesthouse/B&B standard.

Have spent four days there - the hotel is very central - bus/train is fast reach - also the city centre and lake are fast reach. Unfortunately, we have also to mention some negative points - the room is OK, unfortunately no climate (but we knew before) the ventilator there is unfunctional (At temperatures far above 30 degrees very harmful); It is nice if there is the possibility of making tea or coffee in the room - sugar was there but there was a Tea/Coffee absence. Breakfast as well as well - which disturbs (and unfortunately is so in other hotels) that the breads have been back-up - I actually expect more from a hotel in a already high price category. Concluded - more than a satisfactory cannot be given as a judgment.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It is quite corporate looking and doesn’t have much of an atmosphere. The room was fine and the bed very comfortable. There was no fridge in the room nor any coffee and tea making facilities. Only a bar of soap and tiny Rituals body lotion in bathroom. Parking in the car park next to the hotel costs £20 per 24 hours as the car park does not belong to the hotel and it’s the only car park nearby. Breakfast is 20 euros pp but there is a lot of choice. You have to pay 10 euros pp to use the sauna and they charge 5 euros pp if you want to swim in the river and need a towel.

The breakfast is very rich, the local standard of living is very high, Konstanz borders Switzerland. It is a very laid-back town, very comfortable, and the building of the hotel itself is very beautiful. The hotel service is also very friendly, the room is quite big, and the bathroom is also very big. A very comfortable experience. There is a public parking lot next to the hotel, which is inexpensive and free all day on Sundays.

Wir als Paar verbrachten 8 Tage im Parkhotel St. Leonhard. Das Erste, was wir anmerken können, ist, dass eine Vielzahl von kostenfreien Parkplätzen vor dem Hotel vorhanden sind und man zu jeder Zeit einen Parkplatz bekommt. Wir wurden an der Rezeption sehr freundlich empfangen und bekamen alles Wissenswertes für unseren Aufenthalt mitgeteilt. Unser Zimmer befand sich im Westflügel und war wunschgemäß leicht zu Fuß erreichbar. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß, hatte eine Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick auf dem Bodensee und verfügte über eine Klimaanlage. Das Badezimmer war super ausgestattet und ebenfalls sehr groß. Das Einzige, was uns persönlich nicht behagt hat, waren die für uns zu weichen Matratzen im Bett. Ansonsten waren wir mit dem Zimmer (408) super zufrieden. Das Frühstückbuffet war sehr lecker, vielfältig und alles wurde zeitnah wieder aufgefüllt. Das Serviceteam beim Frühstück war super freundlich und versuchte, alles möglich zu machen. ”Toller Service”! Wir nutzten während unserem sonnenverwöhnten Aufenthalt lediglich das Schwimmbad und die Liegewiese. Beides war super, insbesondere haben wir die Ruhe und den Ausblick von der Liegewiese aus genossen. Die Hotel-/Restaurantterrasse verfügt ebenfalls über einen super Ausblick über den Bodensee und lädt ein, den Tag bei einem Glas Wein oder Bier ausklingen zu lassen. Wir waren einmal im Restaurant abends essen, dies hat uns weniger gefallen. Wir aßen a la carte (Wiener Schnitzel bzw. Zanderfilet). Das Schnitzel war gut, das Zanderfilet leider weniger (leider alles sehr geschmacksneutral gewürzt und das Zanderfilet in Mandelbutter wenig knusprig). Die kleine Karte wurde uns gar nicht angeboten. Wir hatten für 18.00 Uhr reserviert. Auf dem Tisch befand sich bereits ein Dip: ”Der Gruß aus der Küche”, allerdings ohne Brot. Erst auf Nachfrage unserseits wurde dies mit unserer Hauptspeise (gegen 18.30 Uhr) gebracht. Alles in Allem hatte man das Gefühl, dass eher dort die Halbpension-Gäste gesehen werden, als die ”Tagesgäste” (Bei den Halbpension-Gäste, auch bei denen, die nach uns kamen, kam das Brot ohne Aufforderung sofort.) Daher waren wir nur einmal im Restaurant essen. Besonders zu erwähnen ist , dass man beim Einchecken eine Bodensee-Karte erhält, mit der man bei vielen Aktivitäten auch einen Preisnachlass bekommt, aber viel wichtiger, auch umsonst die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel im dortigen Kreis benutzen kann, um die Umgebung zu erkunden(so dass wir unser Auto so gut wie nie nutzen mussten, um nach Überleingen oder z.B. nach Meersburg usw. zu kommen). Die Bushaltestelle liegt fußläufig keine 200 m vom Hotel entfernt . Alles in Allem hat uns der Aufenthalt im Hotel sehr gut gefallen und es ist immer wieder eine Reise wert.
