Kotohira Grand Hotel Sakuranosho

We stayed for two nights and booked Kaiseki cuisine for dinner at the hotel on the first night. The kaiseki cuisine provided by the hotel is satisfactory in terms of dishes and portion size, and the restaurant environment is very spacious.
Kotohira Kadan

I've heard for a long time that my wife has a strong wish to ”I want to visit the inner shrine (Iwatama Shrine) of Kontohirara Shrine while I'm fine.” There was information that the state of emergency due to the new Corona would end, but just in case, I booked this inn where I can eat in the room with an open-air bath. I was planning to visit in the morning and go down the mountain around noon, so I arrived at Kotohira Onsen around 9 o'clock. Until check-in, when I contacted the hotel to see what to do with the car, I was saved by a kind explanation that I should park at the parking lot across the road. At that time, when you check in, you said that you would pick you up at the parking lot. According to the plan, it took about 3 time to go back and forth to visit the inner shrine as information was provided, but since it took about 2 time to go back and forth, I ate sanuki udon in the direction of Ayata for lunch, and I saw the entrance of the place where I walked mountains of my hobby. I was able to use the time effectively by driving on it. It was check-in time and when I entered the hotel, a Nepalese guided me to the hotel. I felt like I was greeted comfortably with an easy-to-understand explanation in fluent Japanese. After that, Mr. Nakai, who took care of me until breakfast the next day, guided me to the guest room with an open-air bath in Fujimidai. This person was like a veteran and was friendly and relieved. The room is the best with the Sanuki Plain, a terrace with a view of Sanuki Fuji in the distance and an open-air bath. It was a good environment for shijukara to come to play with the fruits of plants. The espresso machine installed in the room was also saved by unlimited use. At night, I took an open-air bath (not a hot spring) and tasted the state of ”no”. According to Mr. Nakai's advice, I enjoyed the hot spring immediately after check-in and around 5 in the morning, the large communal bath was vacant and reserved. The hot water and the view were able to occupy the hot springs alone at 々. (It seems that the women's bath was in the same state) The tired body was healed and revived by worship. The same Nakai carried me for dinner and breakfast in the room. Supper is a seasonal special plan that scatters the taste of the four seasons that Kagawa is proud of, and appetizers, zushi, cooking, grilled food, advanced dishes, steamed food, hot pot food, rice with mochi wheat, dessert, etc. are all very delicious. After making Daiginjo of local sake 1 Honku, I ordered more wine and spent time without getting into the water. Breakfast was also rich in side dishes such as grilled fish and hot tofu, and miso soup was also effective and delicious. At the time of check-out, the front desk sent me to the parking lot by wagon, and I felt that the pleasant customer service attitude was wonderful here as well. I would like to continue using it in the future. Also, Hotel New Awaji in Awaji Island, which is a series, is also a series, so I wanted to go there because it is close to my home.
