I am writing to share our gratitude following our recent stay at Novotel Kunming City Center. We were delighted to discover the hotel’s modern facilities and fresh ambiance, which certainly contributed to a memorable experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. In particular, I would like to extend a special thank you to Noya for going above and beyond to assist us. Her knowledge and recommendations for local attractions greatly enriched our visit. Additionally, we appreciated the hotel’s convenient location near the MRT and shopping center, making our exploration of the area effortless. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay. We look forward to visiting Novotel Kunming City Center again in the future.

We really like this hotel, excellent hotel & excellent staffs. the staffs were really helpful, and very nice. They gave free upgrades to our room. They allowed us to keep our luggages after check out because our flight is at night and rewarded us with late check out. The location is very convenient located downtown near shopping malls & lots of halal restaurants for muslim. The metro station is just outside the hotel. The room itself was really clean and well-maintained. Definitely will stay here again in future. I’ve already recommended this hotel to my friend on my Instagram!

I came to Kunming on a business trip and stayed at Weilong Hotel. The experience exceeded my expectations. As soon as I stepped into the lobby, the bright and spacious environment gave me a good mood. The staff was warm and thoughtful, quickly checked me in, and also introduced the surrounding area. The room was clean and tidy, the layout was reasonable, and the details were carefully considered. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and I had a good night's sleep. The hotel's breakfast was very rich, and the rice noodles were smooth and chewy. The location is even better, with convenient transportation. The nearby bus stops and subway stations are very close, which is convenient for business trips or outings. I sincerely recommend Weilong Hotel, which is very cost-effective!

The room is awesome and everything is well thought out except there is no bidet. The staff Ryan was very helpful and assisted us with many things like transport and even provided us with zip lock bags. His service was outstanding. Breakfast was good too.. they have free washing machine and dryer and their staff will even assist to help you fold. Will return again to stay.

Great location, with two food streets nearby that are lively at night. Surrounded by many shopping malls. Sufficient space to put two huge luggages and still walk around with ease. There’s a free supper buffet available (porridge), and drinks available all the time. Bed was a little hard but you get two pillow choices. If you’re a light sleeper just know that this is a very lively area so the sounds of cars can still be heard around midnight. Nonetheless the location trumps all!

The hotel had just opened and had to face the test of the Spring Festival peak passenger flow, which was the most difficult test for Atour, the hotel management and the hotel staff. facility: 1. Only one elevator in the hotel is operational, the other one is broken. It is really bad that only one elevator is operational during the peak tourist flow days. I believe that 90% of the complaints, dissatisfaction and anger from guests these days come from this. 2. The facilities in the room maintain the consistent standard of Atour. However, a newly renovated hotel room will definitely have a smell. Turn on the air purifier after entering the room. When people go out to play, keeping the purifier on may have some effect. Hygiene: The newly opened hotel is very clean. Environment: The hotel is located in the center of the pedestrian street, and you can see the bustling street scene from the room. Going downstairs is the internet-famous beef patty stall, which is the only one of its kind and has people lining up from morning to night. There are also various food and drink stalls that are worth mentioning. Service: The staff really tried their best to serve everyone. What impressed me most was: The elevator was not working during the peak check-in period. It was an equipment problem. Many guests complained. The hotel front desk staff kept apologizing, especially the front-line managers. Most customers would eventually find the manager with their complaints. As the front desk manager, a thin girl had to face all kinds of pressure from guests alone. All she could do was smile, apologize, explain, express the hotel's apology and give gifts. Of course, the guests' anger was not directed at her personally, and her personal abilities and rights were limited. Other employees could hide or leave, but as a manager she had to stay and face everything. It was not easy. In addition, most of the hotel staff will greet the guests, which feels very friendly. The hotel's breakfast is from 7:00 to 11:00. Hahaha, you can really have brunch, but if you go after 10:00, a lot of food is gone. Although the staff are replenishing it, not everything is available. As for midnight snacks, they are not delivered to the room and you need to eat them at the restaurant. The front desk didn't tell me about this when I checked in, so I missed it.

Had a great experience staying here! The location is superb and what’s even more amazing is their customer service. Though this is only a 4 star hotel, their customer service is top-notch, deserved to be 5 star. Even before the stay, the hotel reached out to be if I need some decoration for my room. Without even a second thought they will assist you with your luggage when checking in and out. They also called to our room if we needed any night snacks and delivered it up. I encountered numerous hiccups with my taobao deliveries and they took the initiative to assist and contact the delivery company. The hotel also serves wonderful breakfast at the lobby and there’s a corner in the lobby where snacks are served at specific timing. What’s interesting is that you can make your own tea/coffee. The hotel also has laundry room for everyone to use at no costs. I would like to specially thank 凤凰 and 欣玉 for their excellent service and hospitality! ❤️

This hotel is simply unique. first of all the decor is beautiful, traditional chinese with a modern twist. The staff are extremely attentive and always helpful. They helped with any queries very quickly, attended to our laundry requests very quickly and never fails to serve up an awesome breakfast. OMG the breakfast - beats any 5 star hotel hands down. the simplicity and ”home cooked” food is stunning. Then attention they put into it is outstanding. The rooms are very comfortable too - but because it is in a old building the walls are not too thick. I love the location. it is not in the central shopping and eating area but it is only about a 5 to 7 mins walk away. Around the hotel there is also plenty of good food. Highly recommended. I will be back.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. While the rooms were reasonably clean, they were definitely comfortable, providing a relaxing space after a day of exploring. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its central location, which made it incredibly easy to get around. Whether I wanted to visit local attractions or find a place to eat, everything was within close reach. There are plenty of food options nearby, offering a variety of choices for different tastes. Overall, it’s a convenient and comfortable place to stay, especially if you’re looking for easy access to everything in the area.

1 night stay at spacious 2 double beds room. Each bed can fit 2 medium sized adults. 2 beds fit 4 adults. 30mins smooth ride from Kunming Changshui International Airport. Centrally located. Huge clean beautiful hotel. Reach hotel abt 9am and hotel reception was very kind and helpful. Staff can converse simple English. I was lucky they allow early check in. Wifi strength in hotel is low so you will need to have prep your own data arrangement from ur country. Tv channels are limited to chinese programmes. No netflix. Room view is city and the surrounding building light up at night. Night view is nice. We left the window open as outside air is more cooling. Its december and temp is mostly 10deg and below. Generally no bidets in toilets in China. No halal food in hotel. But just 20mins walk along Nanping Pedestrian street you can find halal food at the muslim community near Shuncheng street. Theres also an acient mosque called Shuncheng Mosque. PreBook trip.com airport transfer at 50sgd. Big 6 seater mpv. Driver assigned was professional and very punctual. Hassle free and highly recomend.
