I was very pleasantly surprised with my experience as my first ever Marriot Bonvoy benefits. I'll start by saying my first impression was ”clean”. It's spacious so you don't feel crowed either in the lobby, the coffee bar (which is loaded and include Italian Creme for your coffee!), the hallways, etc. Speaking of the hallways, I ventured out just for coffee around 6:15 and the space outside of the room was a very cozy temperature. Perfect for those just rolling out of bed to muster enough energy to go for coffee. There is coffee in the room but fresh coffee is worth the short walk. The key card is perfect - no need to insert. It's a touch screen. There are multiple options for lighting - my favorite is the dimmable lights above the bed so that in the AM, you don't have to wish for more light or squint from too much light. All and all a very comfortable stay. I don't come to Clermont often but when I come back, I'll be sure to stay here. Clermont is a very beautiful city and surprisingly, there is elevation here! If you're form Florida, you know that in it of itself is special. :)

I didn't book a hotel in Kissimmee but the choice was great too. The room was clean and comfortable. Located in a beautiful area. The breakfast was good. Overall, our stay was great compared to the expected price and similar hotels.

We were in town for the Freedom 5K July 4th race in downtown Clermont, also known as ”The City of Champions.” Even though we live an hour from the city, we decided to overnight to make race morning an easy drive to the start line. We are loyal Hilton members and were happy to find a Home2Suites only minutes from the historic downtown area and start line. The hotel is conveniently located off of Highway 50; South Lake Hospital was the view from our room and very close to the National Training Center, a warm weather state-of-the-art sports and fitness facility for high school, collegiate, amateur and professional athletes from around the country and the world; hence, the city nickname. We like this brand because of the spacious accommodations and kitchen facilities. Our 4th floor room was very clean and all amenities were in working order. Light is important to us; the lamps were bright enough for us to read comfortably. While Hilton has gone to a pet-friendly policy they never bothered us and we never heard one bark although we saw dogs with guests waiting to check in. Parking is free unlike some Central Florida locations that charge $10-15 a night to park. We asked for a late checkout the following day and were advised to ask at the front desk the next morning. Mr. Kemp graciously accommodated our request. We were also helped by Anthony and Sharon at check-in who went out of her way to make sure we got our preferred room preference. Shower water pressure and temperature were fine. This property provides dispensers for shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Towels were plentiful, soft and absorbent. The lobby area is spacious with lots of gathering space. Both Zaxby's and Applebee's are at the end of the property within easy walking distance. We did takeout from Zaxby's. My only criticism of the hotel is the breakfast. On the day we visited, there were no scrambled eggs, breakfast meat or fresh fruit (only wrapped green apples at the front desk). What I thought was hot oatmeal turned out to be gravy for biscuits. They did have the usual cold cereal, pastries and waffle station. I did not care for the pre-packaged breakfast sandwiches. We will definitely return to this hotel for the race next year.

Stayed 2 nights in the margaritaville hotel as part of a visit to Disney MK. Check in was smooth, the room had two queen beds with a gorgeous bathroom and balcony with views of Disney fireworks at night! The pool area was fabulous, clean, warm water, shallow for children to play and a tiki bar! Decoration in the foyer and rooms gorgeous and tropical! Easy and quick shuttle coach arranged on the day to get to and from AK or MK....free! Would highly recommend!

This is a brand-new hotel in a stunning location which should be great. Instead, my family and I had a truly terrible experience from the first moment there. Don't stay at this property unless you're prepared to deal with frustration and disappointment. The hotel was nowhere close to full during our mid-week stay, yet our rooms were not ready at check-in, and the staff rudely evaded my questions about when we'd be able to have access. (This isn't a small matter when you're trying to manage increasingly tired and frustrated kids.) The property advertises an ”arrivals/departures lounge” where you can change/shower/etc. before you check-in or after you check-out, but it wasn't ready during our stay. (Of course, there wasn't anything to indicate that it wasn't open yet, and the doors were unlocked. I only figured out that it wasn't open when I tried to use the lockers inside and asked a pool attendant why the lockers weren't working.) Once we finally had access to our connecting rooms, they were a major disappointment, both in quality and layout. The connecting doors were on springs that automatically, so we had to jam bath towels in the doors to keep them open. (What's the point of having a connecting room for kids if the doors to the parents' room automatically close?) The quality of the furnishings and hardware in the room is far below what you'd expect on a property that advertises itself as a luxury resort. The vinyl flooring was not installed properly and was bubbling up at the connecting doors. The button to toggle between bath and shower operation fell off when I grazed it with my hand. There was still painter's tape all over the inside of the connecting doors -- nobody had bothered to take it off. Quality control was non-existent. Perhaps more importantly, it seems like nobody put much thought into getting the details right at this place. The only trash can in the bathrooms is tucked into the commode -- there isn't one near the sink, where it's needed most. In two bed rooms, there's a large circular table in the middle of the room between two beds, which is easy to trip on when the room is dark and impedes the flow of the room. The lobby and front entrance to the property is on the third floor -- but there's no sign in the elevators telling you that, and only the first floor is marked with a star (which, of course, usually denotes the building's main exit.) The service was no better. In the morning, we had an early reservation for a Disney breakfast, so I tried to call down twice to have the valet bring our car to the front. The hotel's phones weren't working. I tried calling the front desk from my cell phone -- still, not working. We then went downstairs and told valet in person to bring our car around, and we had to wait several minutes for it. In the meantime, I told the front desk attendant that the phones weren't working, both on the inside phones and when calling from my cell phone. He dismissively told me t

Our first stay at Yacht Club was a success! We upgraded last minute from the Caribbean because I found a rate that I was comfortable with. I think the prices that Disney gets for these hotels is ridiculous, so I tend to avoid Deluxe. It's the location here that is the big winner. You can walk to Epcot in minutes, and Hollywood Studios in about 15-20 minutes. You also have the option of the boats or the skyliner to Hollywood Studios. We arrived about 9am and were sent a text that our room was ready at 10am. We were already in the parks, so we didn't get back to the resort until evening. We had requested a King and that is exactly what we got, room 3215. Our view from the balcony wasn't so great as it overlooked the rooftop of Steakhouse 71 (I believe) and just a bit of the pool area in the distance. It wasn't a problem, we aren't in the room much, and we aren't on the balcony much as it was cooler this trip. Bed was comfortable. We had housekeeping every day, which we are no longer used to. We had enough towels on the first day to use a clean one each day of our four night stay, but they were refreshed every day. We got some fun towel art which is always a treat to see. There is still the H2O shampoo, conditioner and body wash tubes in the shower. There is also bar soap, mouthwash, shower cap (?) on the vanity. I did notice a LOT of hair on the shower wall the first morning. It kind of freaked me out because it was long, black and at first thought it was spiders out of the corner of my eye. When I pointed it out to my husband, he took the shower wand and washed it away. Problem solved. Didn't have to complain to the front desk, demand to be reimbursed or change rooms. Super friendly staff down in the lobby. Always someone smiling and greeting us as we walked thru. We thought the gift shop was small. Good selection of restaurants between the Yacht and the Beach Club, but we didn't actually dine at any of them this trip. Overall my favorite of the three Boardwalk area resorts. We will keep an eye out for another good deal in the future, but for now our favorite is still Pop Century.

Check in is at 6 p.m. which is truly inconvenient since check out is at 11 a.m, Our room wasn't ready until after 7 p.m. Our room had a dead roach in it. On top, you need to pay for parking which is ridiculous. When you call the front desk, it takes over 10 minutes to get anyone on the phone. The rooms are small and cramped.4 of us in a room was truly tooooo much. The room wasn't cleaned while we stayed.

The hotel is very comfortable. The room is big and clean. The bathroom is also big and clean. The breakfast is rich and the gym is diverse and clean. You can order drinks by the pool. Everything is very convenient and close to Disney

After much searching and reading of reviews, we chose this resort for our 2 week stay in Florida as part of a British Airways holiday and from Day 2 onwards, we were happy we did. After arriving late on a Saturday night, we were given a room in Block 1, on Floor 1. I mistakenly assumed floor 1 meant one floor up but in fact it means the GROUND floor (what we call it in the UK). If you don't want to stay on the ground floor, note this for when you check-in! You may have people walking past your room all day depending on where on the ground floor your room is! What we also didn't know is that block 1 is the oldest block, we got to our room and were disappointed as soon as we walked in, it smelt funny, it was dated and tired and one of the toilets didn't flush properly. There was also a door to the outside right outside our room's front door, people were coming in and out of this often and as it was a heavy door it was loud every time it banged shut. Not what we had forked out a load of money for. They had tried to sell it to us as an upgrade - they'd given us a slightly bigger room with 3 bathrooms instead of 2 but we didn't need 3 bathrooms, We would have been happy with 1 bathroom, we just wanted a nice, modern comfortable room. So I immediately went back to the front desk and asked for one of the more modern rooms I had seen on the website. As the hotel was full they couldn't do anything at that time but said on Sunday when people checked out, they would try to find us another room. Initially we were told we had to stay at the hotel the next day and be ready to move to a new room (not what you really want to do on holiday, wasting a day hanging around the hotel) then this changed to they would text us when another room was ready. Luckily we were on our way home from a Disney park when we got a text saying we had 1 hour(!) to check in at reception or the new room would be given to someone else. I felt this was a bit out of order. Had this message arrived earlier in the day it wouldn't have been very convenient for us to have to leave but thankfully we were heading home. What I didn't anticipate at this time was how ENORMOUS the queue would be at reception when we got back, this was one thing we noticed often and of course at particular times in the day. So if you need anything from reception, pick your time to go there! The staff at reception were fine but most were fairly disinterested. Anyway thankfully we made it to a member of staff at the reception desk with a few minutes to spare but it was all quite stressful. But once we got our new room (Block 3, floor 4) things turned around! The room was more modern, higher up and we had a great view out to the water park. We had a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite for our family of 4 which worked well. Both our children had their own rooms which they were very happy about. The beds were comfortable. We didn't really make use of the kitchen cooking facilities but could have it we wanted, it was well st
