Outstanding
GGuest UserThe room was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was fabulous. Location was excellent for sight and sound and everything east side of Lancaster like all the Amish markets and such. This is my new go to hotel for Lancaster.
MMikeNew hotel which is why we booked. The breakfast was mediocre. Could do with a healthy option like plain greek yoghurt. 24/7 coffee wasn't really a thing: after about 10pm the lights in the breakfast area of the lobby were turned off and the coffee cold or often removed completely.
GGuest UserOur family booked a stay last April 2023, so it was only natural to book this venue for our April 2024 PA trip. We were disappointed in the condition of the room because both closet doors were broken perhaps by the previous occupant. The photos tell the story and the front desk. The other issue involved the loud noise in the hallway made by unsupervised children going to or coming from the pool area around 8:45 ish.
GGuest UserWonderful hotel! The utilities are spotless clean!
Also, it's super close to the Smoketown airport. It's a great place to stay if you want to go planespotting.
The Smoketown airport is tiny, and you can get within meters of the runway.
GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy. The exceptional thing was the bed.. VERY comfortable. Firm, but yielding. And the pillows were very comfortable also, if a little small. Our only small complaint was that the room had a kind of smell like the carpets had been recently cleaned but not aired out. Still, we slept well, the room had plenty of towels and hot water, good coffee in the room, a microwave, fridge, the usual things. Their breakfast was also quite good, with excellent scrambled eggs, the sausage was well cooked (not like some other places we have stayed at.),and we especially like the the cinnamon flavored waffles. The coffee was also good there. I think we would have given the overall experience an ”excellent” rating exceptional for the smell of the room.. a condition I am sure will be corrected easily.
GGuest UserMy husband and I was there celebrating our 25th year anniversary and we couldn't be happier. The service and the warm greeting that we received when we arrived was excellent. The staff talked to us like they knew us for years and that what made our stay there all worth it. Every time we leave or arrive they spoke to us, and even asked how hour day went. The room was very clean and in excellent conditions. We had plenty of towels and tissue when we arrived. The whole facilities was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. I really recommend this hotel for anyone that is looking for a place that is home away from home vive. We will be back!
HHuntSueThe rooms were much smaller and the bed was not the size advertised. The coffee shop was horrible! It took us 20 minutes to get 3 coffees, the lids didn't fit and the cups were so cheap that the one cup just about disintegrated and the coffee split all over my husband and our car. The attendant was pretty clueless and did not know how to work the register. The indoor pool area was nice, but the water was freezing and like most places there is not enough seating to place your belongings down. Given this carries the Cartoon Network name, we expected there to be better quality! It was basically a cleaned up Motel using the Cartoon Network name to draw in business.
JJihooThey were very accommodating and greeted us warmly. The room was clean and organized. I liked this hotel because it is pretty close to the Amish store.
GGuest UserThe receptionist was friendly and explain everything to us. When we open the room door we smell a bad odor( like the room was closed for a long time and no body opened the window to have a fresh air) the building and the rooms needs an update, it’s old, specially the mattress, my brother in law didn’t sleep well and had a back pain because of the mattress.
The breakfast was ok,( toast, coffee, milk and juice)
They should upgrade the rooms.
