I recently completed a **6-night stay** at Hotel Vischio Toyama, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, the experience was seamless and incredibly comfortable.
### Outstanding Service
The **front desk receptionists** deserve a special mention. They were consistently professional, polite, and went out of their way to be helpful. Whether it was handling check-in or assisting with local inquiries, their hospitality made me feel truly welcome.
### Room & Amenities
The accommodations exceeded my expectations:
* **Cleanliness:** The room was spotless and maintained to a very high standard throughout my stay.
* **Space:** Unlike many city hotels in Japan, the room felt notably spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and manage luggage.
* **Amenities:** Everything you could possibly need was provided. The amenities were thoughtful and complete, ensuring a ”home away from home” feel.

The location is perhaps the hotel's strongest selling point:
* **Transport:** It is situated **directly next to Toyama Station**, making it the perfect base for exploring the region or catching the Shinkansen.
* **Convenience:** The hotel sits right above a vibrant **shopping mall**.
* **Dining:** You are spoiled for choice with **numerous eateries** located just floors below the hotel, offering everything from quick bites to authentic local cuisine.

MmanazhangThe hotel is conveniently located near Toyama Station. Downstairs, there's a Japanese restaurant and a sushi place, but unfortunately, neither accepts reservations, so you have to queue. There's also a convenience store on the first floor. The front desk is on the second floor, where you can pick up toothbrushes, toothpaste, makeup remover, skincare, tea bags, drip coffee, and bath salts – a really good selection. You need your room card to access the elevators. The room itself is a bit small but quite new, and the layout is pretty efficient. My only complaint is the narrow and long entryway; with a 24-inch suitcase open, only one person can pass through at a time. It would be perfect if that hallway were a bit wider. The bathroom gets a huge thumbs-up! It's spacious, with a separate bathtub and shower, and the shower floor dries very quickly. For room cleaning, you need to put a sign on your door. If you only need fresh towels and trash emptied, you can leave them outside your door in the morning, and they'll hang new ones on the doorknob. They provide two bottles of water daily. Toyama Castle and the 'most beautiful Starbucks' are both within walking distance.

JJessyyThis was my first trip to Toyama, and I did a lot of research before booking a hotel. I ended up choosing the Oarks Canal Park Hotel because of its great value for money. The location is incredibly convenient, just a 3-minute walk from Toyama Station. You can also easily walk to Canal Park to visit the famous 'most beautiful Starbucks'. The hotel room was quite spacious and very clean. They clean every three days, but daily cleaning can be arranged if requested. If you opt out of daily cleaning, they still provide fresh bath towels, hand towels, and toothbrushes, along with UCC coffee capsules every day. The room had an excellent view; I loved opening the curtains each morning to a different scenery. The only downside was that they only provided a complimentary bottle of drinking water on the first day of my stay. I had to go to a supermarket near the station every day to buy water. Overall, I was satisfied.

Uuka2599The hotel is really close to the station, right between the North and South exits. When you come out, head right towards the M shopping mall. Walk a few steps along the side of the mall, and you'll find the hotel diagonally opposite the Toyota car rental. The staff were all very friendly, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was quite generous, and there's a 24-hour drink bar. The hot water for the coffee machine is at the very bottom, indicated by a red button. Just across the street, in the mall, there's that delicious sushi restaurant with self-service ordering – it's fresh and tasty!

CCheylynA bit of walking distance from Toyama station, need to cross roads few times to reach the hotel. The room is small but well equipped. Detergent is not provided FOC if you want to use washing machine, need to go to hotel reception to get one.

AAnEchoOfNatureLocated in the old town, very close to the Toyama City Office, only a few steps away from the Sakura Trail along the Songchuan coast, you can walk to the city park, the county people's assembly hall, or you can walk to the total Qulun Dahe Department Store, Glass Art Museum and Library. The interior of the hotel is clean and tidy, feels comfortable, and the front desk is very friendly. Very good impression of the hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel is next to Toyama Station. It is said to be in Showa style. The decoration is old and you need a key to open the door. The walls of the room are not very clean, but the price is relatively cheap. The quilt does not have a quilt cover, which feels unhygienic.
