GGuest UserRelaxing sanctuary hotel in a super location minutes away from JR Kumamoto. Well trained polite staff and courteous, gave a kumamoto kids kit for my kids! Free coffee, easy lift access to the mall, parked at the basement for 1000 jpy only per night.

NnnystIt was the most impressive accommodation to rest and live in this trip for me. The price is reasonable. Staff/ owner is very helpful and kind. She introduced me about her own place even I arrived hostel quite late. Her decoration and facility is superb. The kitchen has a lot of stuffs that traveler will be need. It feels like living at home but in the hostel. Location is good to locate near the tram. Also, common room, roof top, the bathroom are nice to rest. The private room (bedroom) is not too small - too big but it was very cozy to stay and manage your stuffs. I can do a little morning stretching in there. Love it! highly recommended for girls and other travellers 💗

GGuest UserLocation of this hotel is good with close distance to nearby shopping malls and Kumamoto Castle. General cleanliness of the room is good except that the air filter of the inner ventilation system needs “deep” cleaning. Services of staff are good and I highly recommend for all of you looking for a value-for-money hotel in Kumamoto city centre.

GGuest UserLove this hotel. Location is fantastic. Just next to the Kumamoto train, tram and bus station. Booked the lifestyle room, with 2 double bed and a sofa bed for 3 adults and comes with access to 4th floor for unlimited liquor, soft drinks, juice, tea, nuts and instant noodles. However, orange juice ran out on 3rd day and dispenser dispense super diluted juice. Anyway small matter. Toilet area is big (comparing to Japan standard), with split toilet, bathroom, wash basin, wardrobe and change area. Interestingly with see-through bathroom door. However, you can lock the entire toilet access. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Price is also reasonable.

EElinaNikOmg, to cansel another hotel and change booking to this was my best decision! A had awesome view! I really enjoyed it during the late evening, check the photo. Breakfast was so good, I never leave dinning area hungry. Lovely! In case the space is full, you can take it to your room. With that view, I wasn't against 😉 Other things like in every other Toyoko inn.

GGuest User🛍️ The hotel is conveniently located just behind SAKURA MACHI Kumamoto and is a mere 10-minute walk from the main shopping street. It is also surrounded by tram stations, making travel easy and accessible. 🚙 Although the hotel does not have its own parking lot, it offers discounts at nearby parking facilities. I found it more convenient, however, to park at the lot directly in front of the hotel for 1,400 Yen per night, which is almost the same price as the hotel's discounted options. 🛌 The room size is typical for a Japanese hotel with two twin beds, but the bathroom is slightly larger than average. The only downside is that one of the beds is positioned too close to the window, meaning you'll sleep near the curtain, which is a bit dusty.

GGuest UserI honestly do not know where to start, I booked the hotel without really knowing much about Kumamoto Prefecture. After arriving in Kumamoto City and then realising Ueki Onsen is another 40 minute bus ride I was thinking oh dear where am I staying. After arriving at the hotel I was greeted by the manager of the hotel who showed me to my room and gave me a tour of the facilities. Once settled in I realised there isn't great public transport around and I primarily wanted to see Beppu and Yufuin during my stay, I enquired with the manager on where I might be able to rent a car, with little to no Japanese language under my belt he took it upon himself to reserve a vehicle for me and offered to drive me himself to collect it. He then also said he would take me back to return it a few days later. After my trips to Beppu and Yufui village (Not to be missed) and not to miss the outstanding and beautiful surroundings in Uekimachi and the Aso region. The manager and I set off to return my hire car, on the way back he took me to Kikuchi shrine to pray and also gifted me coffee and cake. They also accommodated me with use of the on site onsen (amazing) after hours as I'm heavily tattooed. I feel truly grateful to have found this hidden gem of rural Japan and if you are thinking of traveling this great country I emplore you to go off the beaten path. I experienced untold kindness during my stay and have memories of a life time. Thank you so much guys
