"Quiet location but still only minutes from station and shops. We stayed for an extended period as visiting family and Stayed in a twin room which is a very good size. Plenty of room to ‘live’ . Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good, great choices and all very fresh. The breakfast area being used as a ‘lounge’ with free drinks from 2-8pm was very useful. Cannot speak highly enough of our stay. One very minor thing, is that there is no room safe so if you feel the need to lock valuables away they have to be deposited with reception. Would highly recommend Richmond Hotel."

"We had a really good stay here. The hotel is in a great spot, not too far from Himeji station and very easy to get to the castle from there. The highlight for us was definitely the free public bath inside the hotel. It was so relaxing to use the sento after a long day of walking. The room was comfortable and the whole experience was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again."
