AAoomamiOkinawa is one of those places I keep going back to every year — whether it’s a short escape or a long vacation, I just need to visit somehow.
I love the perfect balance between Japan and the West. The vibe is relaxed, driving is easy, the accommodations are great, and everything feels peaceful and not overly crowded. There’s also so much good food to explore, plus tons of shopping spots without the chaos and competition you usually find in Tokyo.

The positioning is peerless. To have Emerald Beach as your front yard and the aquarium as your neighbor is a luxury few hotels can claim. The architecture maximizes the stunning views of Ie Island, and the transition from the sophisticated lobby to the pristine coastal surroundings is seamless. The resort successfully captures the 'Okinawa Blue' spirit in every corner.
Service & Amenities
The service here felt notably more 'high-touch' and personalized. The staff navigate the complexities of a large-scale resort with grace and genuine warmth—a step above the standard 'transactional' service seen in city hotels. You can feel the passion and warmth the moment you arrive at the resort.
Accommodation Note
The rooms are impressively spacious by Japanese standards and the location is right in between Churaumi Aquarium and Bise Fukugi Tree Road by foot!!!
Guest Tip: Ensure you are present at your balcony to embrace the magnificent sunset. Watching the sun dip below the horizon around 5:00 PM is a transformative experience that defines the beauty of this resort.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very beautiful. The rooms, the facilities, the common areas. It is a plus they have complimentary water and iced/hot water dispensers in each floor. the spa was SO fantastic, although children are very very noisy. However, the jacuzzi is all worth it. The beach is VERY pretty, fantastic for a stroll. The room has a glorious sea view, and the bed, table and chairs, safety box, bathroom are top notch. The only but I would give to the room is that the bed is a bit too soft (mattress). Pillows, bedding, etc … lux quality. The parking facilities are fantastic too!! Overall we had a great stay. Arigato!!

The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk to Genki Village, which made it incredibly convenient to take the kids to touch and interact with dolphins. My child didn't want to leave and was screaming with joy the whole time. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and it was well soundproofed, so after playing all day, we slept really soundly. The front desk service was warm and attentive, always ready to answer any questions. Overall, it was a perfect experience! High marks for both location and family-friendliness – we will definitely stay here again next time!

No complaints on cleanliness.
Service wise, there is not a single service staff, so we are lucky we do not need help. Thus 3/5. I do not understand the instruction to enter the lobby after 10 pm, or it was not updated.
Facilities-wise, not much as a service apartment. The shower ”column” in the master bedroom is really small ..., all the basins are at the wrong height, just too low. I need to bend more than 90 degrees to reach the tap and I am not tall. The redeeming point is that Family Mart is just beside the lobby. Parking is very ample and convenient.

GGuest UserStayed on 3F and happy to report I saw zero spiders or bugs during my stay. The daily breakfast was very homely and tasty, and made sense to enjoy it in our rooms with the spectacular view. The toilet has a big bathtub that is more rare with usually small Japanese hotels. The room is nothing fancy but fully functional for a value price. Wifi worked excellent with strong connection and easy to log in. TV has Netflix Amazonprime Youtube you can use. Despite being a bit hesitant about the location when we first arrived, it is OK - there is a Lawson opposite, and many restaurants just 5 min drive away up north. Overall a very pleasant stay. Thank you!

GGuest UserWhen you leave the hotel, it's like a private beach. The view is amazing. However, the facilities are not that great. The toilet doesn't have a washlet. The shower is the type that sprays water. The pressure is weak and it doesn't feel like you're washing properly. On top of that, the curtain in the unit bath was broken and came off. It was fixed the next day, but I was pretty tired after taking a bath.
It was a cheap hotel with a nice view, but I realized that facilities are quite important during my solo trip.

Ddongyunge2013This is the first time I have seen a hotel in Japan that has poor cleanliness. There was even a contact lens thrown in the sink. The cleanliness is really poor.
