Hotels near Ta-Yai Beach, Koh Larn

We stayed on Koh Larn for two nights after a long time in Pattaya and before heading back to Bangkok.  Samanta by the Sea was a great find, and we enjoyed our stay very much.  The room was a great size, and it was even better that the hotel was only 5 min (walking) from the pier.  We were greeted by the owner and shown around. His friendliness and happiness were astonishing and so genuine. Getting free noodles, bread, and coffee 24/7 was a lovely touch, too.  We can only recommend Samanta by the Sea and will stay here heapily again. 

We liked the hotel in general. The receptionist is friendly. Breakfast is the same every day: eggs, bacon, fruit, juice, toast, meatball and mushroom soup, cornflakes, yogurt. Tea and coffee from bags. The bed mattress is hard, the pillows are uncomfortable, but the children do not notice this, they slept well. The room has a TV (not smart), a hair dryer, a refrigerator, air conditioning, a fan. You can hang your clothes on hangers. There was no soap in the bathroom. It is a 5-minute walk to the market near the temple and from there you can take tuk-tuks to the beaches. The beach near the hotel is not for swimming. The hotel can rent motorbikes, and if you book a room directly with them, they give you one for free. On the second floor there is an open area with sun loungers, a beautiful view opens up. If I go to this island a second time, I will take a closer look at other hotels for this price. It would be great if there was a pool, at least a small one. On the day of departure, a free transfer to the pier is organized. Thank you very much!

My stay on Koh Lan in Pattaya was absolutely amazing! 😍 Super high value for money! So cheap, only a little over 3,000 RMB per night! I was already excited when I saw the photos while booking! But the actual place was even more beautiful! There was a private pool right at the entrance! The mattress was just the right firmness, so comfortable to sleep on! This is my first time staying at this hotel! It's simply amazing, located in a small bay a kilometer from Tawaen Beach. The staff is very friendly and polite, the rooms are very cozy, and the linens are clean. There's always hot and cold water in the room. You can take a car or walk to the pier. There's a restaurant next to the hotel that serves delicious tom yum. I highly recommend this hotel!

Overall is good, just the water pump is to small

Great place for the price. Everything you need in the room, good for one day or couple day stay, has some cafes nearby. 👍

The location is good, next to Tawaen Beach, but during the low season, there aren't many people staying, making it a bit lonely. If you put up a lot of lights, it will look beautiful and inviting. Cleanliness is fair.
