Family-friendly Hotels in Lanzhou

First, my friend went to Lanzhou for a trip. Out of trust in InterContinental, he strongly recommended the Crowne Plaza Lanzhou. My friend was on a honeymoon trip and wanted to contact the staff in advance to see if they could arrange it. The twists and turns of the process made me feel helpless. I made 3 calls, but no one from the front desk called back. I said I would add WeChat, and they said yes perfunctorily, and then there has been no reply until now. No one has contacted me or my friend since I checked out. Second, the deposit issue is very rigid. I have no objection to you collecting a deposit, but I asked what consumer goods were in the room, and was told that there were only drinks in the refrigerator. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton hotel, it truly exceeded all expectations in terms of customer service and facilities. What made my experience even more remarkable was the fact that they graciously upgraded my room without any additional charges, providing me with a breathtaking view and a sense of luxury. However, what truly stood out for me was the captivating live music that filled the hotel. All in all, this hotel's exceptional customer service and outstanding facilities made my experience truly unforgettable.

The location is really convenient. The front desk staff is patient and enthusiastic, and will answer any inquiries. It is very close to the Pedestrian Street, Zhongshan Iron Bridge, Baita Temple (Baita Mountain Park), Lanzhou Forest of Steles, within walking distance. We went down the mountain and took a sheepskin raft and ate at the Asiya Xiguan restaurant. There is Watsons downstairs in the hotel, and I added lip balm, and the northwest is still quite dry. The hawthorn candied haws at the candied haws store at the door is delicious, and the sugar is crunchy. The sugar of this kind of candied haws in Suzhou is sticky. It should be enough to stay for two nights, and you can also go to Zhengning Night Market. We flew from Dunhuang to Lanzhou, and stayed near the airport for the first night. Afterwards, we felt that we should have stayed here on Zhangye Road for the first night. Another thing is that there is a Michelle Ice City store on the sheepskin raft. Next to it is a specialty store. It is really cheaper than the ones on the highway or in the airport. Very solid. I didn't think about buying cigarettes until I arrived at the airport. Lanzhou Jixiang sold for 32 packs at the airport, and 25 packs outside. It sells for 28 outside the Three Fortress, and 40 at the airport.

The main draw of this hotel is the location and leisure facilities. If you like to keep fit or need to get fit - then this is a perfect hotel for that - as you can integrate it into your trip whether it be for business or holiday. The pool and gym are the most impressive facilities I’ve come across in a hotel. If you can’t swim I’m sure there are lessons available which would be a great thing to do no matter the purpose of your trip. Thought the room was comfortable enough but I suppose if you weren’t using the hotel facilities you may feel it’s overpriced - we didn’t think this because we used the excellent pool and gym. We had a couple of cocktails in the lounge bar that were excellent and the service in the hotel was very attentive.

I stayed 5 nights at this hotel. It is located right across from the Lanzhou train station. The area is very busy with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. It is very easy to use the subway right next to the train station to go around the city. There's also a bus terminal right next to the subway station.

We booked a superior twin room with our baby. We were upgraded when we checked in. It was a bit unexpected. The hotel is in a good location at the east entrance of Dongfanghong Square in the city center. It is convenient to go anywhere, eat, and go to Guofang or MixC. The customer service staff Huang Xiuxia provided very good service. Seeing that we had a baby, she also gave us fruit snacks and small dolls. I will book this hotel again when I go to Lanzhou in the future

Nice hotel next to Tuanjie Xincun Metro Station Line 2, but not up to 5star level. We stayed for 3 nights, as I had prepaid. No English spoken either at the front desk or breakfast cafe. Room was on the 26th floor with a magnificent view looking South. Quiet room, smallish and with little hanging space and no safety box. Breakfast was Chinese and underwhelming. Nice indoor heated pool, but quite crowded with outsiders allowed to swim there. Fantastic gym with everything you could need and all to yourself. Probably stay here again for one night if the price was right. As a day trip, we went to Bingling Si. Take Metro to QiLiHe station on line 1. Walk east past KFC, take the 2nd pedestrian overpass, turn right then left after the touts near the public toilets. This is the Lanzhou West Bus Station. We caught the 9am bus for 23 yuan cash only and only available on the day. At the other end, organised a car for 4 people for 320 yuan. Last bus back at 5:30. It will leave earlier if full. Near QiLiHe station, great coffee place at 76 Jian Gong Xi Jie. Back from the bus station, past KFC, past Metro, left into Jian Gong Xi Jie. Try the 'dirty coffee '

I have stayed in this hotel before and felt that the sanitary services were particularly good, so I booked this hotel specifically for my business trip to Lanzhou this time. The rooms are spacious and warm in style. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the toilet and bath are convenient to use.
