Even though I had a confirmed booking I was informed the hotel is full upon showing up and had to be relocated by trip. Very bad experience.

Unbelievable and bad service !! Staff do not speak English. During the check out, one of the staff going check the room and she came back with a used towel. She said the (old) towel is a bit dirty and the hotel charge us additional money because we have used towel !!!

Everything is good except WiFi Signal too weak that always got cutoff.

Facilities: The facilities are relatively old and the standard is Samsung. Hygiene: The sanitary environment and bedding are generally not very clean. Environment: There seems to be a bar downstairs and the sound is too loud at night to make it difficult to sleep. Service: The service is quite enthusiastic and the front desk can communicate in Chinese without any barriers. The size of the double bed room I booked was really small. The hot water in the room was hot and cold. I felt that the price was a bit expensive and not very cost-effective.

The hotel facilities and service quality are poor, and the sound system is too loud at night.

The hotel is located opposite the train/bus station. You can take the bus here when traveling to SAPA or Hanoi. There are no shopping malls or parks nearby, and the living facilities are insufficient. I chose this hotel because I had to take a bus to Hanoi the next morning. It is about 3 kilometers to the Red River Port. Fruits are cheap near the port. A coconut costs 25,000 VND. Other places in Lao Cai sell for 30,000 to 35,000 VND. The park in the main city of Lao Cai is beautiful and you can go shopping. There are many shops near the park. I bought a 6-inch pizza from the store, which was delicious.

It's an old hotel, and the facilities are indeed a bit old.

I stayed in this hotel twice while visiting Lao Cai city. Located near the train station and a 10-minute drive from the border with China. The rooms are small and yet quite comfortable. I recommend stopping if you need to travel early in the morning by train or bus to other cities in Vietnam.
