Grecotel-Luxme Daphnila Bay Dassia

We just had one of the best holidays ever! This hotel is amazing from start to finish. As soon as we walked into the hotel we knew it was going to be great as the staff greeted us at reception with facecloths and drinks and took us a quick tour of the hotel. Our bungalow was really too class, we were amazed by the size of the room, it was huge. We had a huge bed with beautiful canopy over it. The room had a nice balcony with a view over the bay and right out to the mountains of Albania, it really was something special. Everything else about the room was great like the powerful shower, bath, mini bar, coffee machine and big TV. We spent our first few days around the pool sipping cocktails and eating from the pool bar. The pool area was great as there was a large outdoor pool and a smaller inside one for the kids to play in the shade. There was also a lovely little pool and loungers hidden out the front. Pool was well staffed with a pool attendant, people giving out towels and lovely bar staff doing table service. The pool bar did a great selection drinks and food, everything you would want really. Our next few days were spent down on the beach and this is where the hotel really shines. The beach, surroundings, bar and grass area is pure luxury. My family absolutely loved our time at the beach. It felt more like a 5 star resort. The beach area had everything and more like fresh towels, comfortable loungers, crystal clear water, beautiful grass and trees, pizza made fresh in front of us, massive drinks menu and I could go on and on. The hotel food was probably the best we have ever experienced in an all inclusive hotel and bear in mind I came here with a family of 5 picky eaters but they all loved it. The best thing about the hotel is definitely the super staff. From the reception to the bar staff and restaurants. They are just so nice and happy to help you with anything. Our daughter was not well and the staff had a doctor come see us within 15mins, I could not believe how well she was looked after. Even first thing in the morning the staff phoned us to check how my daughter was feeling. There's a pharmacy not too far down the road where we were able to get a prescription from the doctor. I have been travelling to different resorts with my family for years and this one is definitely the best. I really don't have one bad thing to say and everyone who was there at the hotel talked about how great it was too. I would recommend this spot and will be back again. So sad to be back home 😭

So I'm not going to write a huge paragraph but here are some pros and cons: Pros: Amazing, friendly staff Great cleaners Good location Nice views Good beach Well kept pools Cons: . Crowded, echos, full of noisy children . Breakfast, lunch and dinner queues are packed . The hotel rooms are very moldy and have stains in places . Mosquitos. So many mosquitoes. . The indoor pool is packed full of children and it's the only useable pool . The outdoor pool is colder than the sea . The food is not very good and takes "looks over taste" very seriously . The cues for the pool tables have no tips . Too many people crammed in one location . You can hear every little noise from the neighbouring hotel rooms . The rooms absolutely REEK . Theres a sewage problem with the bungalows and you can really smell it . The football pitch is pretty much destroyed . The tennis courts are full of sand, making it easy to slip over . Lifts are wobbly and feel unsafe . Its an incredibly long walk down to the beach . Sometimes, the sun loungers aren't set up properly, so when you sit on one it retracts and bangs you on the head . Wasp problem. There were about 7 drowning in the help-yourself jam . The mattresses are the cheapest thing ever, my "double bed" is just two single cheap mattresses crammed together, I can feel all the springs as well. . There's sand in the beds. . The non sea view balconys are just overlooking crowds of people, so it doesn't feel very private . Lack of privacy . Lack of a lot of things that a "luxury" 4 star hotel should have.

This was our second visit having stayed here in 2022. The hotel and surroundings are lovely and everywhere kept spotless. The staff are all very helpful and eager to make your stay enjoyable. Food is very good from buffet to signature restaurants. We tried all the signature restaurants and our favourite was the Asian. The food was great and the staff very welcoming. A special shout out to Vlasis Nassios who suggested some excellent wine to accompany our food.

Came here to celebrate my girlfriend’s 30th birthday and also to pop the question. By the way she said yes. What can I say such a beautiful location with friendly and attentive staff. Food was brilliant regardless of if it was the buffet or the a la carte restaurants (definitely download the app and pre book them beforehand). Would definitely recommend

I stayed at this resort with my partner and 3 year old child and it was the best family holiday we have yet taken. We stayed in a sea view bungalow which was in effect two rooms - one with a king size bed and an alcove with two single beds. Ive found this configuration difficult to find at other hotels /resorts and it was perfect for a family with children under 5. The pool area and gardens were both relaxing and offered panoramic views; the food in both the all inclusive restraunt and the a la carte restraints was great; and the creperie/ice cream place on the beach brilliant. Strongly reccommend as a great destination for a young family.

We had a wonderful experience with this hotel. The staff were friendly and very attentive, the hotel managers were beyond helpful, fulfilling all our requests and needs. They even surprised my husband with a birthday cake on the day of his birthday. The food was delicious, the facilities were great.

Family friendly essentially means kids holiday camp! The staff are very attentive and friendly. Rooms are ok. Beds aren’t amazing. But the views are incredible. Food is good and the extra touch of a a la carte restaurant each night is really nice. The beach is nice and the drinks are flowing. However. Unfortunately I find myself disappointed that the hotel is marketed as a luxury retreat for relaxation when actually you are woken up in the morning by screaming kids. Kids at the beach running around. If you are a childless couple I would stay clear of this place. As a family it looks amazing!

Stayed here over Easter opening day, had a great time with family , a la carte restaurants are exceptional , every member of staff are a credit to this hotel , highly recommend a stay here , staff waited on you above and beyond , plenty of loungers in the bay

Amazing staff, so friendly and helpful throughout the entire week. The food was great and range of drinks/ice cream and crepes for adults and kids made everyone happy. Special mention to the Pathos entertainment team - Ivan, Luis, Eli and Yoan who made our kids holiday even more amazing with their attention to detail and complete engagement for the entire time of the holiday, their relentless program of activities allowed for the children to make friends and enjoy their holiday even more.
