Melia Hotels in Lisbon

Lovely hotel beside the airport, though showing signs of age. Excellent warm and friendly staff who facilitated a room change quickly. Perfect indoor heated swimming pool for winter, clean spa and gym area. Hotel also provides frequent shuttle service to the terminal (~3 minute drive). Breakfast choices were limited but delicious. Would recommend for those catching early morning flights.

Disadvantages: The hotel is a bit old; it is far from the old town (attractions) Pros: Good service, the front desk always greets you with a smile; the room is large in Europe; the location is close to the train station and subway station called Orient, which is convenient for travel, but it takes 20 minutes to get to the old town by public transportation. You can take a taxi. Lisbon taxis are relatively cheap, similar to Didi in Shanghai Nearby is an office area similar to Lujiazui. There is not much food in the new area. There is nothing to visit downstairs at night. It is a bit boring. There are no convenience stores, but it is very quiet. There are occasionally homeless on the street, but there are no ** people. It's OK. The train station at Orient is a bit dirty, but the public security is OK.
