This is one of the best places we have stayed in. From the moment of arrival to the moment of departure you feel the genuine warmth and friendliness of the hotel staff. Everyone is helpful. Location of the hotel is on the outskirts of the town, where you can find peace and quiet. Palma is a 25 min drive away. We have stayed in a terrace room which we liked alot. The indoor pool for our little one was perfect. We had a room with breakfast arrangement. Breakfast is simply delicious as the lunch we had. We had a joyful vacation !

This is my second visit as my first was as near perfection as possible. The setting is beautiful ( you need a car or be prepared to get cabs everywhere if you want uk do anything - we just stayed for relaxation both times though so this was not a problem). The food is incredible, the rooms beautiful. A lovely spa. Fabulous pool bar run by a very pleasant and efficient woman. Large well maintained pool. A chilled environment - it doesn’t really attract people with children other than the occasional baby - quiet and relaxing. A fantastic old building carefully restored. The perfect retreat. So… the negatives this time On arrival we were early so our room wasn’t ready - this is fine but there wasn’t anywhere we could get a coffee after a flight until 11.30. The woman checking us in assured us she would call when our room ready. The call never happened. We arrived at dinner and we waited to be shown to a table. And waited. And waited. The exhausted looking staff steadfastly avoiding eye contact. Eventually a woman asked us what time our reservation. We hadn’t made one. On check in this was never explained to us and we hadn’t last time. She did fit us in and we went to the lovely bar and ordered a drink while we waited. Hardly a hardship but it would have been easy to explain this kind of thing on arrival. Ditto the arrangements for the spa- you get a massage included in the endless privileges package but important to book well in advance. The next morning we arrived at breakfast and the same thing happened. The growing queue decided to take matters into their own hands and find their own tables. We asked ( very politely) for coffee and we’re told brusquely by the woman in charge they were very busy. And we asked again. and again - seeing others getting served several times in the meantime. 40 minutes later the lovely young man brought our coffees. We had finished breakfast and we’re about to leave. Please - shrink your menu and just serve filter coffee if you can’t cope. The spa - beautiful but lots of features out of action. No signage to that effect so lots of bemused guests pressing buttons. Please sort that out. All of these things can be rectified so don’t let it put you off and Zoetry - if you’re reading this please fix our wonderful retreat!

This is a high quality resort in many respects. Homes are decorated to a pleasing standard, very well cleaned and maintained and they provide good comfort. It’s possible to cook well here too if you like that kind of thing. The pool has been refurbished but has lost some of its previous luxury. Now painted white and it’s quite stark and a little like a local authority pool. The jacuzzis have gone too sadly. This could be rectified with some improved lighting and other touches of luxury to set the place aside from a municipal pool. Some of the lifeguard staff are rude and aggressive also. That aside, most staff are helpful and some very kind. Aina is one who comes to mind especially. Other highlights include the golf course, gym and spa. You do need a car but there is plenty within reach of the resort and Mallorca is a fabulous place to relax and enjoy. In this review I’ve picked out a few areas for improvement but overall the experience was very good indeed and we look forward to coming back.

My husband and I have just returned from a short 3-night trip to this hotel and look forward to returning again soon. The hotel is very rural so you definitely need a car to be able to get out and about. It is also very quiet, so if you're looking for a lively resort with entertainment then this isn't the place for you. This is exactly the reason we liked the place so much - lots of peace and quiet to really relax! The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. It seemed to be catered more for Spanish and German guests, which is normal in many parts of Mallorca but we had no problems communicating with staff. Rooms very very clean and comfortable. We had access to everything we needed. We didn't use the pools, but there were three well maintained pools. One of the pools was undercover. Plenty of sunbeds were available around the pool. Breakfast was fine and plenty of it. There were some cooked items each day and a selection of breads, cheeses, meats, pastries etc. We didn't eat at the hotel for our evening meal. There is only one dinner option each day, which is displayed on a board in the breakfast room. Unfortunately the options weren't to our taste, so we decided to eat elsewhere before coming back to the hotel in the evening. I would say this is the one limitation to the hotel; there are not any other bars / restaurants nearby so you have to travel or eat before coming back for the day. This wasn't an issue for us, but could see it being inconvenient for others so definitely something to be aware of if you are considering this hotel. You can walk through the vineyards to the Bodegas Vi Rei winery, which is less than a 10 minute walk. We enjoyed doing this and picking up a bottle of wine to enjoy on our balcony. Hotel guests get 10% off in the shop. The winery offer tours and tasting, which is definitely worth trying. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will look to stay here again. My tip to others would be to check out the location before booking - if you are looking for somewhere quiet and out of the way then this hotel would be perfect for you.
