The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Yangren Street, and the almsgiving route passes directly by the hotel entrance. The hotel's French colonial architecture is also stunning, and there's a magnificent towering tree inside that's truly beautiful! Every time we entered or left, the front desk staff would greet us warmly, open the door, and even remember our room number – very well-trained. The breakfast was exquisite too, semi-buffet with excellent made-to-order dishes and beautifully presented. The coffee, in particular, easily outshines all the coffee shops on Yangren Street.

My stay at Avani was good, great location, staffs are super great! Breakfast was great too! One thing to comment is I can hear the next door flushed and every others time open doors.

This hotel is known as a great, budget-friendly alternative to Amann. The ambiance is incredible, definitely giving off Amann vibes, and it's beautiful. The pool is also large. We booked a pool room and upgraded to a suite for just $40. A key highlight is that this is one of only two hotels in Luang Prabang that offers alms giving, the other being Amann. Plus, their breakfast is semi-buffet with an à la carte menu, and it's absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the salmon and banana toast.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It's probably the best-located hotel in Luang Prabang, right at the entrance of the night market, which is incredibly convenient. The service is also quite good; the staff in the lobby are always smiling. They even offer close-range shuttle service. Everything else is pretty average, including the rooms and public areas.

The hotel's breakfast was perfect for me – a good, hearty Western-style meal that was comprehensive and provided all the nutrition I needed for the day. I was so full I didn't even need to eat again. Environment: The setting perfectly matched my expectations for Luang Prabang (not to mention the area outside the hotel); it truly felt like a resort. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Picturesque, super friendly and helpful staff. The free shuttle service is fantastic. The best place to stay in Luang Prabang, was that good that we made sure our next hotel stay in Laos is also an Avani+

Very close to Main Street. Great location. There are free shuttle vehicles for surroundings spots and join the morning alms in front of the hotel.

The location is super convenient, right on a fantastic street corner, and I highly recommend the Nalin massage next door. The hotel's breakfast salad and coffee were amazing; I happily had several cups. The service was excellent, they answered all my questions, and it really did live up to its 'mini-Aman' reputation. Highly recommended hotel! It's right in the heart of Luang Prabang's old town, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. My stay was pleasant as a solo traveler in Luang Prabang. The hotel is located downtown right on the Main Street and everything is within a short walking distance (Wat Mai, the Palace Museum, Phousi Hill). Just step out of the hotel and you can find many cafes and restaurants and shops. The hotel can also help you arrange alms giving to monks. The spa was very nice also.

This was the hotel I was most looking forward to on this trip. The location is excellent, right at the entrance of the foreign quarter. The moment I stepped inside, even though I had read online reviews mentioning its compact layout, it still couldn't diminish its unique charm. Calling it a 'hidden gem in the bustling city' doesn't quite fit, as its style is more fresh and elegant. The facilities are comprehensive. If you're only visiting Luang Prabang once, it's definitely worth staying here for the experience. I especially want to commend the hotel's services, which were truly thoughtful and attentive.
