The restaurant cafe de paris downstairs is delicious and there are people performing in the square which is very lively.
The famous shopping street downstairs is super convenient. Next door is pp LV Hermes and the like~
All in all, it's very convenient, otherwise I wouldn't know where to stay and wouldn't have much choice.

Beautiful hotel with a great location. I stayed in room 31 which has an open concept shower. I was traveling alone but be aware if you want privacy while showering.
Housekeeping did not clean my room on the second day which I expect of a five star hotel. At least empty the trash bins.
If you like to stay in the posh area then this hotel is for you.

It was an amazing experience in a very good location. On top of that the staff was perfect. Some of the staff that I got their name are Miriam, Agathe and Timothe. I would like to thank them for their service as well as other staff members who I did not get their name.

We were very disappointed at our service upon check in. My husband and I were traveling with his 94 year old blind mother. We had upgraded our room when booking. When checking in, I completed paperwork for both rooms since my mother in law is blind. They gave our upgraded room to our mother which was in the top floor, very large, separate sitting area, sky lights, and beamed ceiling. Our room was small but comfortable. I went downstairs to inquire with the front desk attendant who checked us in and she was very rude and stated both rooms were the same category which they clearly were not. And even if they were, why would you give the larger more luxurious room to the single blind woman versus the couple. She basically said "too bad, it is what it is and there is nothing I can do". Very rude and not expected at a hotel if this caliber.
The other staff were wonderful. Hotel is beautiful and located in a central location.

We stayed 2 nights at Suite Junior room. But there was only one set of slippers and one bath robe, so we needed to ask to birng them. On the second day, they did bed making and changed towles but they did not tidy up the room equipments and not changing shampoo/body soap. So we needed to ask them to bring amenities. The worse thing was they did not clean bath tab so that we ask them to come and clean it.
They can respond our requests very quickly but they should be done before being told by guests.
On the other hand, quality and service of the hotel bar is excellent.

Watch out for Room #1 especially if you have mobility issues. Craziest layout I’ve ever seen out of hundreds of hotels and 40 years of global travel. Creaky old 16th century leads to small upstairs bedroom and shower. Toilet room is on the main level with small sitting room. Quality of amenities, service and cleanliness were all very nice.

Property is beautiful and upscale (not really our cup of tea). Staff is very nice and helpful. Close to many activities. Parking and finding the place is a joke. If driving you have to intercom the city to lower barriers so you can get to the property.
