"Huge thanks to Amy and Judy (in no particular order) for their help! This stay at the Sheraton Rizhao truly felt like a home away from home. Any potential issues or last-minute requests were handled, and I'm very grateful! The hotel facilities are quite new, and the rooms are spacious and bright. The Executive Ocean View Suite is absolutely unbeatable! You can enjoy the sunrise effortlessly, and the views are stunning both day and night. The buffet breakfast and the Executive Lounge's afternoon tea and dinner offerings were all very rich and varied. I particularly enjoyed trying the local specialty 'jianbing' and 'haishaizi mian' here – very satisfying. The hotel has a garden at the back, close to the pier and Gate 1 of Wanpingkou. The front entrance is surrounded by numerous bus stops and seafood restaurants, making everything incredibly convenient! I had a wonderful few days here and will definitely be back!"

"Although the hotel is old, it is well maintained and has convenient parking. The environment is beautiful and it faces the sea. The room is very clean and the bedding is acceptable. Compared with other big-name five-star hotels, the breakfast has fewer varieties and tastes average. But you can eat enough. What needs to be criticized is the restaurant for lunch and dinner. The chef did not cook the food well. The rice wine dumplings on the first day were raw, and the cabbage and pork dumplings on the second day were raw. It made our stomachs suffer, which was incredible. Although the hotel was able to handle the problem well afterwards and sent a bunch of fruit biscuits, the chef's inability to cook the food was still surprising."

"The service here is incredibly thoughtful, and all the staff are warm and friendly. Having visited Senbo in Hangzhou and Jiaxing, this Senbo in Rizhao is definitely the largest. There are so many activities! The game where you can exchange 'silver notes' everywhere is really fun, and at night, there's even iron flower-hitting performances and dances to watch. My child had such a great time that we extended our stay for another day. However, because we had to switch room types, we were initially told we'd have to check out and then check back in, which sounded like a real hassle. But our butler, Pudding, was incredibly considerate. She told us to leave our luggage in the room and go enjoy our planned activities, and they would move our bags to the new room for us. This meant our itinerary wasn't affected at all! Every day, Pudding would remind us of the restaurant mealtimes and various activity schedules. So, our entire stay was very relaxing. The sea-view room allowed us to watch the sunrise effortlessly from our balcony without having to go to the beach. We just checked the time beforehand! All our sunrise photos were taken from the hotel balcony, and being able to go straight back to bed afterward was incredibly comfortable! The Ruyi Bridge also makes it super convenient to get to the beach, and the hotel is very close to various attractions. Even at checkout, my child was happy and said they want to come back again. The only drawback was a slight design issue with the first room type we stayed in. The bathroom in the sea-view king room had no partition from the bedroom, which meant privacy was really lacking, even for a family of three. The 'Small Haisen' room type we moved to later was much better."

"I rarely leave reviews, but I just had to for this gem of a hotel! From the moment I walked in, the warm greeting from the front desk staff really made my day. I mentioned my phone was dead, and she immediately offered me a power bank. The room itself was incredibly cozy and comfortable. The handwritten note, though not perfectly artistic, really showed the thoughtfulness and sincerity of the housekeeping staff. The room was spotless, the bed was super comfy, and there was even a big bathtub. Breakfast was also excellent; the chef personally brought me a small pear soup, which was a lovely touch. Every little detail showed the hotel's meticulous management. It truly lives up to its reputation as a big international brand like Wyndham. Highly recommended!"

"Five stars, highly recommended! This stay far exceeded my expectations; everything was absolutely perfect. The hotel lobby is grand and elegant. Upon entering, staff immediately offered to help with my luggage. Check-in at the front desk was very quick, and the staff were gentle and patient, even offering thoughtful recommendations for local attractions. The room was spotlessly clean, with no stains in corners or the bathroom. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were very practical. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, the mattress had just the right firmness, and the soundproofing and blackout curtains were excellent – I slept straight through till morning. The facilities were well-maintained, and the toiletries were high quality. Room service was very responsive whenever I needed anything. The location is superb, making it easy to get around for dining and shopping. Throughout my stay, the service was attentive yet discreet, never overbearing. Every detail showed thoughtfulness, truly making me feel at home. This is my top choice for accommodation when traveling; I’ll definitely stay here again!"

"I've been staying at the Kaiyuan every time I've been traveling for the past few years. This time, I spent three days at the Kaiyuan during my trip to Rizhao. I've always been a believer in listening to people when traveling. We always asked our housekeeper, Xiao Cai, for advice on meals, and he always gave us excellent recommendations. The places he recommended were all excellent. I personally think Rizhao is really affordable, but I can't trust the recommendations of **. The breakfast at the hotel was also good, with a wide selection. We ate around 9:30 AM every day, and we never had to wait for extra dishes."

"We stayed at this hotel while accompanying our child to a concert. Perhaps because it's newly opened, there was still a lingering smell of paint. The facilities were okay, and the toiletries were plentiful and easy to use. The downside was the inconvenience of dining options nearby. Even in the residential area about a kilometer away, restaurants with good takeout options weren't available for delivery, so we had to eat at the hotel. However, ordering food at the hotel was cumbersome; the QR code was on the TV, requiring a Marriott membership registration first, and there wasn't a separate ordering interface for the Rizhao Marriott after registration. This needs improvement. By the way, the gym was good, with complete facilities, disposable wet wipes, water, and towels, but there was no swimming pool."

"This weekend, I took my baby to this family-friendly hotel, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! As soon as we arrived at the hotel entrance, a butler warmly greeted us and offered fresh welcome fruit – it was incredibly heartwarming. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, and the drinks were all free-flowing, making traveling with a child so convenient! In the afternoon, we took our baby to soak in the hot springs in the courtyard. The water temperature was just right, and we felt so warm and comfortable afterwards that we didn't want to leave. The hotel's food also deserves high praise! The chef's skills were superb, and the breakfast was a delightful surprise – we even had Rizhao's specialty sea sand noodles, which were authentic and delicious. If you don't want to eat at the hotel, there are plenty of dining options nearby, making it easy to find food. You can even order hotel food to be delivered to your room. Most importantly, the service was impeccable. From the butler to every staff member, everyone was incredibly attentive and considerate. Knowing we were traveling with a baby, they had already installed the bed rails in advance – such thoughtful details made everything worry-free. This place is perfect for bringing kids! There's a children's playground and crafts for kids, and we even had the kids sing karaoke for a while – it was fantastic! The butler even brought us bedtime sweet soup in the evening! It was truly a perfect experience. I plan to stay here every month from now on. I highly recommend it to families with children!"
