The stay was amazing. The fridge didn’t work, and they replaced it immediately. I wish there was a separate room for a business center instead of a desk in a public area. The prayer hall audio was okay, but it would have been better to install high-quality speakers.
Swissotel Makkah is a luxury hotel that is often praised for its prime location, particularly its proximity to the Masjid al-Haram and the Holy Kaaba, making it a preferred choice for pilgrims visiting Mecca
One of the biggest draws is its location within the Abraj Al Bait complex, with stunning views of the Haram. This proximity makes it very convenient for those coming for Umrah or Hajj.
rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained.
It was good stay with my family. Very near to the Haram and there is mall connecting to the hotel. Friendly staff and helpful. Clean rooms but the service was slow. Highly recommended.

I have booked 2 rooms under my name but the reception and duty managers made my stay uncomfortable for 6 hours for their mistakes. I requested them one day before arrival to have both rooms connected or at least the same floor. But no one cares about it and they have given me 1 room in one tower and another room in another tower which totally disappointed me and i have to request many times to change my room in the same tower or the same floor. No body was there to listen it looks like I was in a third class hotel where guests who have paid too much money don't have any value. After requesting many times to the duty managers my room was changed.
Generally an excellent hotel. Some staff members would still benefit from further customer service training however it’s absolutely vital that I mention and praise Mr Amro Bin Malih. An excellent Manager of the hotel who Swissotel should be proud to have.
Great approach in dealing with people and a great person in general.
Lots of refurbishment since the last time we were here in 2016.
Previously it was good and now it is excellent !
Most important is its location which is near the clock tower entrance.
You dont need to walk far to the mosque unlike Fairmont for eg.
Excellent location for the Masjid Al-Haram, Hotel exterior was too good and their prayer hall was too good Masha Allah but the rooms are too small for the 3 beds and 4 beds. The toilets are too smaller than my office lift 😔 not convenient for taking shower etc.
The breakfast is ok, because I have lived before, so I know it is not as good as before, the rooms are clean, and the waiters are good, but the bar is really difficult to communicate, can I study English seriously? I feel like they don’t understand if you hurry up hahaha
Good services and facilities, so recomended to all my friend and family

MMind_myVery good hotel, near to Masjid Haram, clear view of Kaaba, the sound of Asa coming from the Masjid 5 times a day, if there is a chance, I will go again, very worth the money spent, can use personal time to do worship together, very worthwhile.
FFaz Patel MBEThe hotel offers excellent customer service, making guests feel welcomed and valued. The complimentary breakfast is a delightful start to the day, featuring a variety of tasty options. Additionally, the location is prime, providing easy access to local attractions and amenities. Overall, a fantastic stay!
RrocktheworldBest of the best. Value for money. The Kaabah view was extremely priceless. Beyond!! Buffet Breakfast was served well with plenty of delicious food. Highly recommended.
BBader87The location is right next to the Haram and underneath it are the Mecca markets and Carrefour. The thing that bothered me the most was the elevators.. they are very crowded and during prayer times the wait can reach 10 minutes!
