great stay. saw small dead cockroaches everyday in the bathroom for the first three days. kinda empty. needs to be updated and renovated. nice staff. the extra charges on top of the room rate are complete scams. beautiful villas. small island. visited it now so wouldn’t stay again unless they’ve made changes and updated it.

One of the best place, .the service was good and the room was big, and many thanks to our butler (Ahmed). Looking forward to meet you again. Room rates is acceptable for me at the time. I booked. Food was good 👍 and just 15 -30 minutes to the airport. Grate experience

The welcoming was great. Expected a lot more after. Room was extremely dated, furniture was dated. Some of the food was okay, portions are big, Chef came out and greeted us. No entertainment (other than the BBQ that was an extra over $150/p). No night life. Just bland, very happy I didn't stay more than 2 nights, would have definitely regretted it. I don't mind spending, but no massage costs over $400 USD, simple tap water $5, pop $10. Buying your meals plan should include in the disclaimer that your drinks are not included. I've travelled around the world, with expensive hotels costing 2k Euros a night and nothing like this one, not worth the money, not getting what you paid for 100%. Some of the Waiters were genuinely kind, some arrogant and dismissive. The manager came around spoke to the lodgers, skipped us each time. My husband stated probably because we weren't book long enough to make it worth their while. A week in Thailand and 1 day in Male was worth our trip all in all. I would book another resort.

I love everything there , villas , beds , pillows it's clean and comfortable the food is very nice also services is very good all the workers are helpful .especially our buttler Nadeem he arrange a good program for us . Also the best relation manager Mr. Mohamed Jenna who make our stay in Taj hotel unforgettable and excellent and comfortable thank you for all the team in Taj hotel in Maldives

Our first experience was amazing that we came back 5 months later. The location of the hotel Island is wonderful. The dining and spa facilities world class. But it was the amazing and dedicated staff that wowed us. Will be back again soon

Had an amazing stay and memorable holidays at Taj Exotica , Maldives. We had a well organized welcome by the team and Ms.Pratha was assigned as our room butler. I should mention that Ms. Pratha was amazing and attended to our needs promptly and diligently. We had the opportunity to learn snorkeling and Mr.Ingman patiently taught us snorkeling and kept motivating us throughout the training. Mr.Hassan (lifeguard) and Mr.Avinash took the pain to assist us with snorkeling which made our holidays more memorable. Mr.Maher and company also diligently trained us with the jet ski techniques . Last but not least the hotel team especially Mr.Ismail ensured that we had a lovely dining experience. So to summarize, we had a memorable vacation and will definitely recommend this resort .

This is our 4th visit to Taj Exotica and again it was outstanding! The resort is beautiful and the food delicious. Whether you want to chill in your villa, take part in water sports (snorkelling fab, the seabob was an exhilarating first time experience) or just while away the time watching the crystal clear ocean, this is the place for you. And of course the service really makes it stand out. Special mention to our fantastic butlers Nadheem and Mohamed, Mainudeen who serviced our villa so professionally and always with a smile, and Hussain the lifeguard who became our impromptu snorkeling guide. Can’t wait for our 5th visit soon!

I wanted to surprise my wife on her birthday and thus emailed a couple of nearby resorts for a special beach setup. Taj exotica replied within 2-3 hrs and provided me with a customised itinerary with great value. I was able to customize entire menu from a range cuisines available and also for the kids. Upon arrival at the resort, the concierge team met us at jetty and provided a full tour of the resort. We were then guided to our special beach setup and the decoration was wonderful and breathtaking. We had the whole beach to our selves and the location was perfect with the sunsetting just in-front of us. We were provided with a dedicated butler team and the food and drink were delicious. 3 course meal and so many extras. All our requests were wonderfully met. Our family loved every minute of it. Thank you so much and keep up the great work and service! We l definitely return soon 🙌🏻
