This was our first time staying with the NH Collection group, and boy were we impressed with their customer service. For us this started before we arrived in Male, as we were one of the thousands of travellers significantly disrupted in Dubai. We emailed the resort to tell them we would be a full day late, they told us they would rearrange all the transfers from Male to the resort. This they did and what had threated to be a disaster was turned around by their exceptional customer focus, 10/10. When we arrived at the resort, our host Ismail, had everything ready for us to start our vacation. He was excellent throughout and a big thanks are well deserved. As for our stay, it was exceptional, we were treated like royalty by everyone of the resort staff. We will start with our accommodation, we had a sunrise beach bungalow, which was well laid out and kept very clean. Very comfy bed and pillows, fabulous indoor/outdoor bathroom and the best bit, the 30 second stroll to our own private sunloungers and beach. Food and drinks are always a big part of any resorts offering, here we have to say we were very happy. Reef, the main dining area, for breakfast, lunch and dinner and was a real pleasure to dine in. This was not just down to the quality food but just as much to the service provided by the staff. We were treated so well and chef Pradeep, ensured that any special requirements would be 'no trouble' to cook. The restaurant team were fantastic and big shout outs go to Ali, Azeem,Dada,Xee,Shavaan,Dewi, and Maneesh. The bar area was very friendly with a good choice of quality international branded spirits and beers. Again we were treated so well, we never needed to go to the bar for drinks. The staff just came across regardless of whether we were by the pool or in the bar area itself. The bar team also placed our pizza orders from the Kage, and the pizzas were excellent. Our recommendation would be the Tandoori Chicken, they were delicious. As for the bar staff a great big thanks go to Bijoy,Aman,Mathan,Kyaw,Ikram and Lakmal. The island is easy to get around and is well worth the 20 minutes stroll. The house reef is also stunning with a hugh array of marine life and coral with wonderful colours. We didnt use the spa or the a la carte restaurant, but were told by those that did, was they were ok. The island really is a paradise, the beach and ocean, the colours, the peace, the wild life and the clean air and service make it a remarkable experience. When it was time for us to leave, the NH transit staff were once again brilliant. This time Maldivian airlines had operational issues and our international connection in Male was in doubt. However, they went above and beyond to ensure we made our flight. Here we want to thank Zidhaan at Male airport who was superb in getting us through check in and security very quicky. Without him we would not have made the flight. In summary, NH Collections made our vacation one of our best and cannot praise them enough. We
