Manali Heights

We reached the hotel at 11pm exhausted.The staff was not hospitable & courteous. They didn’t give an extra cot & our friend had to sleep On a mattress on the floor...twas disgusting..when I asked for water he gave only 1 bottle instead of 3..it was wired..hopeless staff & service .AVOID THIS HOTEL at any cost.

I booked this hotel for a 3-day family trip, expecting at least basic hospitality and courteous behaviour from the staff, but the experience is extremely disappointing from the moment we entered. The staff behaviour is very poor, unprofessional, and completely lacking courtesy. Even though we understand that the restaurant operates on a self-service buffet system, basic customer support and politeness are still expected. Whenever we requested any assistance or asked for something to be served on the table, the staff responded helplessly with no concern or willingness to help. It genuinely felt like they did not care about guests at all. Hospitality is not only about rooms and food — staff attitude and guest handling matter the most, especially when families are staying for multiple days. Unfortunately, this hotel completely failed in that area. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and respectful stay.

Hotel cleanliness was good Staff was polite Location is near to Hidimba temple and you can reach hotel by taking auto rickshaw or taxi from Mall road or bus stand. Lots of cafes in nearby location. Room was spacious and clean. View from the room was also good

We stayed at Manali Heights in the Log Huts area last week, and it was a fantastic experience—just like when we visited three years ago in February. It’s wonderful to see that the hotel has maintained the same high standards over the years. The rooms offer a beautiful valley view, with excellent ventilation and fresh mountain air flowing through, which makes the stay extremely refreshing. Waking up to the scenic landscape every morning was truly memorable. The food deserves a special mention—great taste, good variety, generous portions, and all at a very reasonable price. The staff members are also very friendly, courteous, and helpful, which adds a lot to the overall experience. The hotel also offers nice recreational options. There is a well-maintained table tennis table in the TT room, and the hotel provides badminton rackets for playing in the garden, ***** with other indoor games that can be enjoyed in the room. These little touches make the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, Manali Heights is a great place to stay in the peaceful Log Huts area, offering scenic views, good food, and warm hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Manali.

The hotel has an old manali vibe, really peaceful and great ambiance. The food is also really tasty, though there should be more options in the buffet breakfast.

everything is fine except not having a lift. we got rooms in -1 and 3rd floor and it was challenging to use 3 rd floor room without the lift. if you have any knee problems it will be really challenging and requested for a change but there was no available room. one should think before booking this hotel

Very nice hotel. Good for couple & senior citizens like me. Good food with reasonable rates. . Great location. View of snow cladded mountains from the room was mesmerizing. Quite & away from crowd. Value for money. Highly recommended for good sta.

It was my first visit to Manali & having no knowledge about the area, I selected this hotel based on my budget, 4.5 guest ratings & 4 star hotel ratings. I took 2 rooms- deluxe and studio. My experience Pros:- 1) Location:- At walkable distance from Hadimba Temple & Old manali Road. 2 kms away Mall Road. If you want to live near local places like hadimba temple, Old manali road it is a good location. 2) Room cleanliness is ok 3) Good room service, courteous staff. 4) complimentary heater in each room. 5) Good parking space. Cons:- 1) Deluxe Rooms are costlier than Studio however studio rooms are better. At the time of booking, I requested for both rooms together but management did not consider it & gave me 1 room on ground floor & 1 on 3rd floor. Deluxe room on ground floor had obstructed mountain view & not worth deluxe tag. The hotel management should tag deluxe room on ground floor as suerior room or some lower room category to give clarity to the customer. 2) Cleanliness should be improved. At the lawn behind my balcony, 1 diaper was lying for 2 days but nobody picked it up. In my opinion, the management should beautify that lawn. currently there is only grass. 3) Though it is subjective, but I found hotel path difficult to approach as steep is high near to the hotel & there is single road. Also one alto car was found always parked to the left of the road making its approach more difficult.
