The assistant manager Summer and waiter Charlie worked very hard to help us address our concerns about the menu and issues with some bad language in the bar. Their response were fantastic. The location is great with brilliant countryside. Please build on the positives.

Stayed with a group of friends in the cabins and the rooms are amazing. Views from them are stunning could possibly make more use of this with some seating outside to watch the sun. Ample parking and the staff are wonderful. Fresh and very well planned out.. shower was amazing and just what was needed after a long day out. Shower gel, shampoo and towels all provided. Room came with a coffee machine and kettle and limited tea making supplies (no spoon) and maybe some bottled water would be a good idea instead of trying to fill the kettle from the bathroom tap. The room was spotlessly clean and with a little attention to a few tiny things I’d have given the room a five. The most important thing we didn’t like regarding the room was the bed! It was rather low and the mattress was absolutely shocking. We didn’t sleep the first night and did mention it to a member of Staff who said she’d mention it to someone. The second night was as bad and once again spoke to a young man called Charlie who was going to talk to housekeeping. This seriously needs to be addressed as a bed and breakfast one of the things is to be able to sleep. Food. We ate in the pub the first night and couldn’t fault it. Absolutely beautiful well prepared and fresh. Considering we were a large group the food arrived together. Great quality and fantastic price. The breakfast the next morning was a little lacking. Sausage was amazing and beautiful quality, bacon mushroom hash brown could have done with being cooked for longer. That said the only real fault we had here was sleeping.

We booked to stay for a night as we were hiking the Worcestershire Way from Bewdley to Malvern. We arrived tired and footsore but were given a cheery welcome by Charlie and Summer. Our room was excellent with plenty of space and a very modern en-suite with bath and shower. Charlie turned out to be an excellent guy, skilled, courteous and mega helpful. He was receptionist - barman - waiter and more. We enjoyed a very pleasant, well cooked supper and were asleep by 9pm! The next morning we enjoyed a well presented breakfast before striding off. The staff were all cheerful and willing which says a lot for the management. We would definitely recommend.

We booked far in advance for Mother’s Day, expecting this to be a relatively special meal out considering the price (and knowing the Baiting House is in the same group and the great experience we have there). However, when we arrived I should have realised that a restaurant/pub not fully booked on Mother’s Day should be waving a red flag. The table we were placed on wasn’t really ideal for a family of three with a toddler in a high chair (the big oval one in the bay window) but we rolled with it. My partner ordered a HPA (his usual choice of beer) but upon tasting it said that it didn’t taste right. We ordered roast dinners and whilst the size of the meal for my daughter was huge it was clearly oversold on the description. The potatoes were clearly frozen out of a bag (think aunt Bessie’s from Tesco) and for the price (I think it was £22 a person) the rest was uninspiring. The only good thing about it was the beef was cooked beautifully. We had puddings which were fine but overall don’t think we’ll be back which is disappointing.

Stayed here for one night as we were attending a wedding in Bromyard and our stay was absolutely lovely! Friendly staff as soon as we arrived, room was clean cosy and modern, stunning bathroom and even had a mini fan available to use in the room (I’m one of those people that has to sleep with the fan on), evening meal and breakfast was delicious! We both really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again!

An excellent experience @ The Admiral Rodney. Staff excellent, accommodation excellent and food excellent. Very impressed by all. Evening meal was to a high standard as was the breakfast. Local people also very welcoming in the bar, which stocks a good variety.

Wow! What a beautiful place to stay. Stayed over for one night in a cosy, clean, perfect cabin (family room) The staff were very friendly and very welcoming, just the perfect a**osphere. Great variety of meals to choose from for our evening meal. Superb selection for breakfast too, including the good old favourite full English! Highly recommend staying overnight or calling in for a drink and a bite to eat. We will definitely be returning. 👍

Lovely quiet location. clean large comfortable room. Unfortunately for me they were looking to recruit a new chef but still managed to provide food in the evening and a lovely English breakfast. Very accommodating with friendly staff.

Hi Everyone, my family and I used the big room yesterday for my daughter’s 30th Birthday. I just wanted to say thank you for the staff’s hardwork. They couldn’t do enough. Food was lovely too. Thank you ☺️
