Clean, comfortable and quiet. Stayed two nights (Tuesday/Wednesday). Good hot and cold breakfast selections, sufficient tables in the breakfast area. While not used by my or my traveling companion, they had board and card games available to borrow/use in the lobby/dining area.

With all of the good reviews on this hotel, I definitely expected better. There were multiple spiders and webs in the bathroom. The room was damp- so much so that the carpet felt damp. Immediately upon entering the room, you could feel the moisture in the air. The breakfast is the minimum. I have definitely had better continental breakfasts. The next time we visit Mason City, I think we will try another hotel.
