Was great stay. The food including breakfast and dinner is beyond my imagination. Staff is very nice. I met friend and we hiked together. Kamikochi is such a beautiful place to visit.

Stayed in the dorm for two nights. I was lucky it was not crowded. I am a foreigner and had two biggish pieces of luggage which took up a good chunk of the floor by my bed. There were two other women in the room and I don't know where they stored their luggage or if they had any. The first night was amazing. The room was cold which allowed me to sleep well. The 2nd night was not so great. One of the ladies turned up the heat so I did not sleep so well.
The onsen was wonderful! It was my first experience in a public bath before hot tubbing. To be honest, the water was too hot. I only stayed in 5 minutes each night, but that was enough.
The dinner and breakfast are excellent as long as you are not vegan or vegetarian. Otherwise, you are in trouble.
I would stay here again, absolutely.

Love their restaurant service the most, food were prepared using local Nagano’s ingredients, and presented very nicely. The staff were really nice and helpful, they tried their best to explain the different dishes to me in English, made me feel very welcomed. Location was great it is very close to the Kappa Bridge and you can easily reach the different hiking trails around that area.

Great place for a solo hiker exploring the mountains. It was the most luxurious “dorm” situation I’ve ever been in. It’s nice that they offer a more affordable place to stay than the rest of Kamikochi.

The hotel is not far from Kappa Bridge. The room is quite large and the clean facilities are relatively simple. The hotel has a hot spring, but it's not too big.
Service: The breakfast and dinner are very rich, and the service staff can speak Chinese and are very enthusiastic. Great experience.
