3-Star Hotels in Milan

The toilet was broken. The room I booked is supposed to be with a balcony, which shown in the pics when I booked. I was arranged to first floor room 138. You can hear all the sounds from the outside street. As a female, I couldn’t able to open window and curtain. If you do, ppl walking on the street could see everything in the room. As everyone knows, it locates in the Milan central station which is not safe either. I don’t know whether it was because I’m from Asia , they think it’s okay to arrange this room that supposed to be under repair to me. They shouldn’t arrange any under repair room to any guest, it’s not professional and unthoughtful. They just want to make revenue. I didn’t complain, as I just booked for a night.if you don’t satisfied with room , use your right to ask them change the room

This place definitely has its pro’s and con’s and it depends what sacrifices you are willing to make for price. Looking at other reviews I thought I wouldn’t mind it as I’m not too fussy usually but overall I felt uncomfortable and didn’t really want to stay any longer than I had to: Pro’s -Good cheap price -Whilst further out, it’s super convenient for public transport right outside the hotel only 2 euro to get into Milan only takes 30 mins tops -The man on reception was lovely and very helpful -Rooms are big and whilst very dated and nothing to shout home about if you’re used to budget travelling they aren’t filthy or falling apart -Nice big shower room -Fast, free Wi-Fi and slippers and towels Cons -We felt the area at times was slightly scary (although we did first arrive at night) some concerning characters/gangs in surrounding areas and appeared to be in the hotel as well. It’s a pretty rundown area and we didn’t feel very comfortable there -The walls - I’ve never known anything quite like it to be honest it was so so loud I could hear absolutely everything the entire time. Babies crying, doors shutting, people talking/shouting, playing music, stomps up the hallway - constantly and late into the night waking us up. This all added to the sense of un-ease as it didn’t seem like you were on your own and I couldn’t relax in the room and just wanted to leave. -We were also in an outhouse which wouldn’t usually be a problem but felt so exposed as it was that it just added to the feeling Despite all the positives we couldn’t look past these negatives and I really wouldn’t recommend regardless of price.

Very good hotel very well located. For improvement in case all the same: - the pillows were a bit too thick for our taste (neck pain in the morning) - the mattress was a bit saggy in the middle (light) - you could hear all the water flowing as soon as a room above was flushing or showering. - no electrical outlet on one side of the bed. Otherwise no complaints about the location and the staff. 10min from the train station on foot for the airport.

Albergo molto vicino alla fermata della metropolitana (linea Lilla) che lo rende appetibile a chi viene da fuori. La posizione è tranquilla (onestamente, qui non si vede molto la ”Milano che non dorme mai”). Personale cortese e camere pulite sono ottimi requisiti. Non ho amato il materasso, un po' vissuto, ma la camera per quanto piccola è stata abbastanza confortevole. La TV in camera (usata per lo più come ninna nanna) non era un modello recente e non trasmetteva certo in 4k, ma del resto in albergo ci si sta poco sia se si viaggia per lavoro che per turismo. Ho trovato il bagno pulito e ben fornito di asciugamani. Anche qui si fanno un po' sentire gli anni e l'usura, ma nel complesso è accettabile. Un po' di rumore esterno filtra (proprio vicino alla struttura transita un tram). Colazione con buffet continente buona, eccetto il caffè che proprio non mi è piaciuto.

Staff were pleasant.The room in general was nice, breakfast was good.It was very noisy,the walls are so thin u can listen to everything, every opening to door from any other room. Also noise from the club you can listen to it. Charging sockets in room very few i was not able to charge my pc and my phone in the same time and since this was a business trip this was dissapoonting.

Right outside the central train station which is great for easy access, also nearby the metro station The area around this location is a bit run down and lota of graffiti and not so many good food options without walking for a bit

I only spent one night and less than twelve hours in total at this property as I just needed somewhere to stay relatively close to the Milano Porta Garibaldi station for an onward journey. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the station and as the trams/buses take about the same length of time, it's relatively convenient for the trains. It's an older property without many mod cons. My room was tiny and definitely a single, with a single bed and no room to move. There was a battered old desk and chair, but nothing else. Linens were clean and fresh, but the bed cover was ancient. The room was relatively warm, but there was nowhere to control the heating. The bathroom was also small, but the shower was at least designed for a single adult. There was a low grade shampoo and soap provided and a dusty old hairdryer. The towels were a bit shabby, but clean. There was WIFI but there are so many connection points available, it took time to work out which one was giving the most reliable signal. I had breakfast, which was certainly plentiful. Pastries, breads, yogurt, cheeses, meats, eggs, coffee, tea, juice, fruit, cereal. Everything you'd expect. I just wasn't here long enough to form a more positive (or negative) experience. It was a place to crash in between long train journeys and was fine for that. I don't think I'd have chosen the location had I been intending to explore Milan.

Very good Budget Hotel. All the staff are lovely. The rooms are dated but solid with loads of extras like a hair dryier, kettle etc, The Breakfast options and room are good. The area is not central to Milan but your not paying Milan central prices. so bare this in mind when reading negative reviews. Also 10 min walk away is a lovely shopping centre, that has food hall that has options to suit all tastes and much cheaper then Milan central prices. Ideal for a few days exploring the area.

This hotel is at the perfect location - less than a minute walk to the Duomo. In close proximity to the tram station and the subway station. There are a lot of places to shop and eat around the hotel. The single room was small but perfect for a solo traveller like myself. The hotel staff was nice and kind (especially Jimmy - he was very helpful). The breakfast spread was decent. Very much recommend if you prefer to stay in the heart of Milan and in close proximity to all the best places. Good to mention that most of the pick up points for day tours were within 10min walking distance.
