Pet-friendly Hotels in Miyakojima

Avoid at all costs. This hotel is 3 stars at best and charges 5 star rates. The property only benefits from its stunning views and location which is not unique and can be achieved anywhere on Miyako. The mid level room was over $1000 and was nowhere near the quality of the other luxury hotels we have stayed at on our two week honeymoon. All of the reviews that are glowing are surely from guests who do not know what a $1000 hotel experience should be. The service at dinner was unbearably slow nearly 2 hours to deliver 1 soup 1 salad and 1 entree. Water was never filled. Our server was so preoccupied in long conversations with other Japanese guests and tables with loud and disruptive children. Lastly the bed was unbearably hard. I know this is a personal preference but trust me there was something wrong with this bed. A hard foam bed with zero fluffy surface at all equivalent to putting a 1cm foam pad on the floor. You will be much happier staying at the brand new hilton hotel.

this guesthouse is fully paid at the time of booking and will not be refunded even if canceled or in bad weather. このゲストハウスは予約時に全額支払いで、『欠航や悪天候でも払い戻しはしない』という事に要注意です。 外見も平屋でメンテナンスしてない外壁のゲストハウスなのに強気な商売してます。 安易に、安値に惹かれて前払いで予約すると、宿側に落度がある場合でも素直に返金に応じるかは怪しいです。 実際に、私が前払いで泊ってる最中に幾つかの要望を伝えたら「不満があるなら泊まらなけば(借りなきゃ)好いじゃないか」と言っくる客対応を知らないオーナーです。 最初に借りたバイクが「耳障りな騒音がするのでバイクを変えて欲しい」とオーナーに言って変えて貰ったのですが、バイクの何か走りが変だった。それで事故車でしょ？と再度オーナーに伝えたら↑の返答で逆切れしました。後でスタッフに確認したら廃車寸前迄壊れたバイクを修理したバイクだったとの事です！図星だったのです！ オーナーは事故車と判っていて、黙ってバイクに貸していたのです。こんな事をするなら、最初から事情を説明して貰って「このバイクで我慢しておいてくれ」言って貰ってバイクを変えない方が好かった。 私は日常からバイクを２台持っていて乗ってるので状態の良し悪しは判ります。 最悪な事に、私は数週間後にこの宿に予約済だったのです。 今回はレンタル代等で支払いがあったので、オーナーにチェックアウトの前日の朝に、レンタル代の支払いの確認をしようとしたら、この宿の４つの電話番号に合計何十回掛けても繫がらない！呼び鈴も鳴らず着信拒否状態！数日前迄は着信履歴があれば返信して、何十回オーナーに電話連絡しても折り返し電話無し！ 数週間後の予約でBooking.comの連絡欄に「チェックイン当日12時頃からバイクを借りたいが可能ですか？」とメール送信したら24時間経っても返答無し！ チェックアウトの前日、これはやばい！感じた。 数週間後の宿代は支払い済で、私がキャンセルした場合は支払い額＋Booking.com割引となっており、事前払い額より数千円アップの請求となってました。こんなトラブルになってキャンセル料なんて支払いたくない！と思うのは当然ではないですか！ それで、Booking.comのカスタマーサービスに電話して、諸事情を話して説明してオーナー側に無料キャンセルにする様に依頼しました。 チェックアウトの前夜にスタッフに「無料キャンセルが確認出来ないと、レンタル代は振込にしますよ」と通知しているのに、翌日チェックアウトの時間になっても無料キャンセルが確認出来ない状況でした。それなのにスタッフがチェックアウト時に「レンタル代を支払って貰えますか？」と何度か言いにきましたが、「無料キャンセルが確認出来ないので支払えない。確認でき次第振込むよ」応答しました。その後、チェックアウトする３０分位前にオーナーが来てレンタル代を請求してきましたが、再度「無料キャンセルが確認出来ないからレンタル代は振込にしますよ」と告げたら「こいつクレーマーだぜ！警察呼ぶぜ！」と捨て台詞を言って立ち去ったので、私は「無料キャンセルすると一筆書いてもえますか？それなら支払いますよ」と言いに行ったら拒否されたのです。 それで、私は空港リムジンバスに乗る為に、早めに宿を後にしました。すると途中でパトカーが来ました。オーナーが「レンタル代を支払わずに逃げた宿泊客がいる！」と通報していたのです！ それでポリスは私を犯人扱い！バス停に行くのを遮られ尋問され一悶着。それで私はポリスに「あなた方が無料キャンセルと返金の証人になってくれたら、レンタル代は支払いますよ」と言ったらポリスが応じてくれたので、その場で支払いました。当日に現場でオーナーと面したら「逮捕だ！逮捕だ！」と喚いてました(笑)。 私がトラブルの諸事情をポリスに話したら、今回の騒動の原因を理解したらしく優和な態度になって、オーナー側に無料キャンセルの状況の確認作業をして「5~6日後位には振り込まれるよ」との返答がポリスからあったのでホッとした。 一悶着が終わった後で、オーナーがいる場所で「口コミは書いたのか？」とかポリス尋ねてきました。「口コミ書いたらいけないんですか!?」と言ったら黙って立ち去ったポリスでした。オーナーが今後の書き込みを恐れてポリスに聞いて来る様に頼んだのでしょう！こんな事されて口コミしない奴が居るか!?(笑) 帰宅後にBooking.comに無料キャンセルの時間経過を調べて貰ったら、オーナーは当日そのポリスの立ち会っている現場でスマフォを使って無料キャンセル処理をしていた事が判明しました。 今回、ポリスが居なかったら『無料キャンセル』は出来なかったも知れない！レンタル代を素直に支払ってチェックアウトしていたらどうなっていたでしょうか？？？ 当日早めにバス停に向かって良かった!!!　何とか空港リムジンバスに乗れました。 LCCなので乗り遅れたら通常料金で航空券買い直しになる処でした。 目出度し！目出度し！
