This hotel is a great stay in Barra. Like a lot of hotels in Rio, this one is old. The place has some relics of the last century: the phone is old, the furniture is old, etc. However, it makes up for it in other ways. The service is excellent at this property. The breakfast is very good, the room service is great and cheap, and all of the staff from doormen to bellhops to reception are attentive and professional. The breakfast attendants are more professional than most local waiters. You will get excellent service here. The hotel is also very pretty despite its age. The hallways and lobby are large, and it looks premium. The location is incredible if you like Barra. We only stayed one night, but we had a decent side view of the ocean from our room, and we easily had enough time for a nice walk on the beach before check-out. Windsor Barra Hotel is a great value; stay here if you value service and excellent access to Barra’s beach.

Wonderful hotel, spacious, clean, airy room, with a balcony facing the street, very attractive, super comfortable beds, super cold air conditioning, strong and warm shower, bedspreads available, TOP pool, large and beautiful on the terrace with a super cool view, and super plentiful and delicious breakfast, I highly recommend the hotel and will definitely return.

Amazing experience, I like hotels and this one made me want to stay a little longer. Impeccable service, restaurant that values ​​​​different cuisine, from dinner to sheik's coffee. Note: we ate pizza, but what a pizza it was... 😱 #backsoon

Overall it was a good stay. Room was in the smallish size, however it was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was rather large. The pool water seemed to be a bit dirty / unmaintained. Breakfast was good.

The hotel has a nice location on the beach, but the property could do with some updates. The first room I went into had a funny smell, so I reported it to reception. The male receptionist looked at me, and as if he doubted my word After I insisted, he assigned me a new room, but it was left to me to move my luggage. . No support was offered and I couldn’t be bothered to ask. I did ask if there would be any complimentary water put in the room. He said he would get housekeeping to put some water, but I’m still waiting two days later.  Power outlets in the room are limited and not designed for modern travel. No USB points. The TV is old and not smart or Internet connected. There are no cable channels so nearly all of the channels are local language apart from one CNN news channel in English.. The hotel is quite noisy and dogs. The walls are thin and guests scrape furniture across the marble floors. This is relatively easy to remedy if the hotel cared. The rooftop pool was disappointing as it’s quite small and normally full of kids. The restaurant is closed after breakfast. There is a bar, but it’s never open.. The biggest problem I had was the Internet. It did not work properly in my room and kept cutting out every few minutes. I had to stand in the corridor or come down to the lobby in order to get any decent coverage. I complained to the staff, but they did nothing and just told me it works.. This was extremely frustrating and I certainly wouldn’t come back to this hotel again.

The room was clean. The hotel is relatively old, but the sanitation is good. The breakfast is also very good. The rooftop swimming pool and rooftop bar are in a great location and the security is also very good.

The hotel was very good, but the receptionist only informed that their double bed was not included in their system as provided in the voucher.

It's only a 10-minute walk from the beach, where you can enjoy the most beautiful sunrise in the Southern Hemisphere. It's very convenient to eat, drink and have fun in the surrounding area. The hotel's room service is great, and the key is that it's very cost-effective!
